I left a one star review through Google in hopes of receiving a response from WellPointe as I had…read moreleft two voicemails previously with billing questions and not received a call back. Tim with WellPointe reached out to me the same day I did this review. Not only did he state he never received the two voicemails I left, he also looked up my name on Google and called my place of work and ask for me instead of responding to this review. I have never come across someone so unprofessional to reach out to the business I work for in regards to a personal issue. My husband took an at home test with his doctor to be referred to WellPointe. Once he met with WellPointe, they stated he needed to take another at home test to confirm his severe sleep apnea and would then receive a CPAP machine through insurance. Once the results came back confirming the previous test results, they then said he needed to do an overnight test to be eligible for a CPAP through insurance as his apnea is so severe it required overnight adjustments. At the time it felt as if we were being strung along, however with my husband's condition and this center recommended by his doctor, we continued the process. His overnight sleep study consisted of trying on each mask and then sleeping the entire night wearing the same one. 5 months later we received a bill with $534 for the in home test and $2,081 for the overnight. Insurance covered the majority of the in home test, however we owe nearly $600 toward the overnight AND insurance did not cover his CPAP. Upon speaking with Tim, he stated the additional test was due to needing to adjust the pressure of the air throughout the night and required more staffing. He repeatedly told me I clearly did not understand the process, I did not have accurate information and I was trying to get out of paying my bill. Needless to say, I would recommend choosing a center that provides accurate information up front with transparent and timely billing- this is not that center. Tim's last comment to me was he would be calling our doctor to let them know I did a review on him and that I was the type of person who left bad reviews on businesses. This is my first bad review I have done, however I made the mistake of not checking the reviews (1.5 on both Google and Yelp) and hope this will help someone make a better choice than we did.

This Macomb Township location is My Spring & Fall office when my allergies flare up and sometimes resulting with fluid in my ears leading to vertigo and then also sinusitis. The Lakeshore ENT Specialists I've known are polite and professional and also this practice offers 6 convenient locations in Michigan. The lobby offers many seats with magazines and quiet areas as well after signing in with receptionist and verifying insurance. I've been told that there are different check-in and check-out staff that rotate their jobs. I've read here on Yelp with 5 other posted reviews to be low or unsatisfactory comments about this location. I read one 5 star review that was in 2022 with a great experience. Therefore My Review is honest and based on My many years as a patient with better experiences and the two doctors I see are helpful and knowledgeable plus the nurse assistances I seen. The check-in window and also check-out area have attentive and polite staff working and I've never been unhappy with either areas. In the past I've seen Dr. Rice, Dr. Dzul, Dr. Brammer all who have retired. I am currently a patient for 2 years with ear specialist Dr. Cameron Heilbronn and Allergist & Nasal Dr. Michael Fozo since Sept 6th, 2023. Both Doctors are knowledgeable, caring and have given Me helpful advice for my Spring and Fall allergies. They listen to my symptoms and I feel at ease and confident that they will help me to get well and maintain my health. I have posted a photo of the brochure with full descriptions of all the ENT specialists and their practices that they help to assist children, youth and adults with their needed care. Also if a patient needs a hearing test which I get yearly they have a Audiologist that will assist with it. When I needed a CT Sinus Scan it was performed and covered by NY insurance in the same building downstairs in Radiology. So great connection and communication! I am pleased and grateful to be in Quality care of these two doctors at LENT for the past 20 + years! I recommend this practice and location. When the patient asked for reasonings to be explained, Dr. Martin only gave the reasoning for being overweight. Dr. Martin mentioned the patient was only having migraines because of being overweight. The patient also asked what they could do when they mentioned they have tried many different ways to lose weight and nothing was working. Dr. Martin said there was nothing he could do. Dr. Martin said there was nothing he could help with and did not give any references or recommendations for other things the patients could try. Dr. Martin only brought up being overweight as an issue for sleep apnea when the patient mentioned feeling stressed. Dr. Martin made the patient feel very uncomfortable and upset. I do not recommend Dr. Martin unless you want to feel worthless and feel like there is no hope to get better. Horrible experience overall besides the office staff.

I had all kinds of headaches and vertigo and no ENT could solve my issues. I was finally pointed to Dr Rosner and he examine me and said, I don't think it's your ears or sinuses. I think it's your EYES. He was right. I had astigmatism and needed a prism. He saved my life! If you have a real issue, he knows his stuff! Will forever be grateful!

I also informed him that she was on multiple psychiatric medications, and that her psychiatric providers expressed concern about combining stimulants with her mental-health meds. Despite several notifications and documentation from her psychiatric treatment team, I did not see any reassessment of her stimulant prescription or coordination with her mental-health providers. She is now hospitalized for the second time this year and her medication conflicts are part of what her inpatient team is addressing. I'm sharing this so other families understand how important it is to advocate strongly when someone has complex psychiatric needs.
