I have received ENT services since I was in elementary school and he is one of the best I have had over the decades. All staff were friendly and efficient. Everything was clean. The exam room was spacious. The waiting area was small. They also have a good system of reminding patients of appointments. About 5-6 days prior to the appointment I received a text message to confirm the appointment. I received another text the day of the appointment. I am very pleased to have found Dr. Succar and will be returning every three months for my ENT care.

Originally, my prescription was for 1 1/2 pills, which meant I had to split a pill each day. At my last routine physical, I mentioned to Dr. Kastl that I had been taking 2 pills instead because it wasn't always convenient to cut them, and the difference in dosage was minimal. She agreed and officially changed my prescription to 2 pills. Six months later, when I requested a refill, I was told I had to schedule a medication check before it would be approved. I scheduled and attended the appointment, which lasted about five minutes and involved no meaningful discussion or changes to my treatment. The following week, I received a $150 bill for that brief visit. I contacted Dr. Kastl multiple times to express my concern and pointed out that, based on my understanding of Michigan law and federal guidelines, the medication I take does not require a mandatory six-month follow-up. Rather than acknowledging my concerns or showing any empathy, my messages were dismissed by simply stating "it's our policy". In this situation, patient care took a back seat to billing. After being a loyal patient for years, I was extremely disappointed by how this was handled. I will not be returning to this practice and would encourage others to carefully consider their options when choosing a primary care provider.

He carelessly, lazily, and rudely misdiagnosed me and sent me away feeling helpless and humiliated. It turned out I had a severe, chronic and hereditary condition which only affects women, and needed surgery. Had to find that out in the emergency room some time later. Would not recommend seeing this person for medical care, especially if you are a woman.

I came for several trips and extensive allergy testing. Rather than looking for an immune system issue he told me I have allergies and told me to take Zyrtec everyday. I took Zyrtec as directed for a year and still suffered a cold every month. He told me if I got sick to come to him for evaluation. I came for one visit when i was sick he told me it had a cold and to see my regular doctor. A month later I was sick again, made an appointment and when I showed up. While waiting they told me Dr. Ringwald would not see me again, that I was sick and to go back to my regular doctor again. Treating allergies was not the cure and he didn't want to face his mistake.
