I made an appointment at this salon for a mani/pedi. After a long wait in cold water for my pedicure, the technician finally began my pedicure. She was clearly not interested and was distracted to the point of being dangerous. She cut my right big toe with the clippers, and insisted it was "nothing". It took 15 minutes to stop the bleeding. They wanted to "take me to urgent care" and I stated I would go on my own and they would reimburse me. The staff talked in Vietnamese loudly about the incident and the manage was insisting she go with me to urgent care, which I declined. There were several expired licenses hanging on the wall of people currently working at the salon. After three requests, they produced a First Aid kit with expired contents and want to tend to the wound themselves, which I would not allow. I will be pursuing further action. STAY AWAY! read more

I typically don't write reviews but this one was worth giving my opinion. I do not recommend going here. I made an appointment and was sat right away but I quickly realized that an appointment doesn't matter because they just sit anyone who walks in. I waited for 30-40 minutes before the woman started on my nails. While she did them very quickly I wasn't too impressed with the job she did plus she didn't even try to make conversation because she was doing 3 other peoples nails at the same time. I left kind of disappointed but decided to just live with it. However 2 DAYS LATER 3 OF MY NAILS CHIPPED. Now one week later and half of my nails are chipped. Was an average experience. Spent $40 for pedicure & eyebrow wax plus $5 tip. Sat in the chair with my feet soaking for literally 55 minutes, water was cold by the time they started anything else. Massage chair was again average, after sitting there that long I was uncomfortable. Leg massage & polish were fine but again nothing special. The brow wax was NOT stellar. No cooling gel or room, they did it right there in the pedicure chair. Just wax, rip, tweeze and done. Left with a red face, toes still sticky & toe separates still on Did I get the services I paid for? Yes. Did it get the job done? Yes. Would be I dying to make my next appointment? UNPROFESSIONAL and EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL!!! Went to get a pedicure for the fifth or so time. I have had amazing service, and I have also had subpar service. Today was so abysmal that it will be the last service. The owner, "Emily" did not know the name of the technician (how, as the OWNER, do you NOT know the name of you team member when you would have had to recruit, hire and onboard the person?!?- perhaps that's another complaint unto itself), tried to rectify the situation but I couldn't feel comfortable in this establishment when "Pat" (the name the owner assigned to her) continued to rant in her native tongue about me stopping her from servicing me. "Pat", first of all, did my pedicure with oversized dishwashing gloves! Said that she is "allergic to pumice". She only said this after realizing that I was paying attention to her not being able to properly handle my feet and miss at trimming my nails (which are already short by choice). How the hell are you going to do pedicures if you are "allergic" to feet!?! She repeatedly tugged at and manhandled my feet. NOT COOL! I spent the entire time feeling uncomfortable, which is the polar opposite of what someone would hope to feel as they're paying $52 for a pedicure. After holding my leg in mid air, without her support, my left leg begin to hurt. She snatched it down and motioned for me to prop it on the bench. Then she pulled up again, so as to remember-suspend it in the air. I put my foot in the water and said that's enough. She begin working on the other, snatching and manhandling the right leg. After a while she asked whether she could use the electric file on my toenails (I wondered why she didn't use it initially and on the first foot). She came back with a normal glove to use the tool. After smoothing the nail bed, I hoped she would return to the first foot to make them look the same but she didn't. At that point I knew I wouldn't allow her to paint my nails and would just pay for a basic pedicure (~$30). She finally asked, what's wrong. To which I said you're hurting me. She starts yelling that she hasn't done anything to hurt me. She then starts speaking to her colleague in her native tongue and calls Emily. I begin to get up from the chair. Emily offered to finish the work, but "Pat" continues to go berserk, like a maniac. I told Emily I didn't feel comfortable with her being so disrespectful and loud. Emily asked her to come to the front so we could all speak, to which she declined and told her that I should call the police. I paid for my service- which Emily did not want me to- however, my feet were touched by a technician and work was performed. Money isn't the issue here. Respect, decency and customer service is, however. While I didn't call the police, I took the time to express myself here and to make it be clear to others my experience with "Pat"- a 40ish year old woman of Asian decent with long hair, nearing her buttocks and red glasses. The service I received from her has become the norm rather than the exception. I hoped to get the wonderful service and artistry I received from the first woman who did my pedicure last year. She was of Native American decent, I believe and she was phenomenal! When they lost her, they lost the best member of their team. And also the "owner" Emily. THERE NEEDS BE 0 STARS. This place is TRASH. Do nothing that you ask & PAY for. & then when I go back to get them fixed because they tell me to come back & will fix them, they charge me EXTRA. Unprofessional in front of other customers in the store and left me crying in front of everyone. Im going on my bachelorette trip and my nails are HORRIBLE. Huge gaps on every single nail & they made my nails bleed. I've never had a "manicure" that makes your nails & cuticles bleed. they are absolutely pathetic and the biggest waste of $100. I have been going to the salon for a couple of years now . I know 80% of the time they're busy and I have had wait 20 to 30 mins. for a pedi.. However on this day I sat in chair number one for 45 minutes while cold water swirled around my feet and watched them take care of three clients that came in after me. They consistently do a great job on mine and my daughters nails, which is hard to find in Mobile! The staff is always friendly and attentive and my feet always look and feel amazing. My mom and i went in on a Saturday they were not very busy. They got me started in about 10 mins and my mom an hour later. Less then a week later mine have peeled off and hers are cracking so bad to the point that they hurt her fingers. I went to this salon on Friday the 22nd of April 2022. I got sns and a pearl pedicure is what they call it. Now the guy Tony did my nails they looked great and then my pedicure he didn't do everything that was listed on the pearl pedicure imo they act like they don't understand and do what they feel like. Anyways, I was getting the French pedicure same as manicure but on my toes before he was finished with my pedicure I looked at the polish and couldn't believe what I was looking at my 9 yr old granddaughter can paint nails better so I told him I'm sorry maybe my toe nails are to short can I change the polish so he was acting like he didn't know what pearl color polish is I got frustrated and got up and picked a pretty pink color. Then it looked ok but I paid 110.00 for my nails 45. For SNS with white tips and the rest was for the pedicure that was no different than when I go to my regular place for 30.00 then I gave a 20.00 tip! I woke up on Saturday and one nail was broke and in my sleep I didn't hit it on anything so Saturday I can't the owner Emily said come in I'll fix it so I went and she did fix the one that broke I went home and 2 more were gone was watching tv and wasn't engaging in any activity so I called and spoke to Emily and told her so she says come back I told her I'll come in tomorrow which was today Sunday April 24th and she said she was going to just redo all of them! Well I got there she was sitting in the back not doing anything and the guy Tony had me wait an hour after soaking the SNS off and what he did was acrylic instead of SNS yet I paid for sns and apparently he doesn't know how to use the sns powder bc I've been getting sns for 10years now and he seriously thought I didn't know what he did I played along and asked you're doing sns right? He said no solar it's stronger but we all remember the brush with the solution and acrylic powder that's what he did and then he painted with gel polish now he did a good job bc he knows acrylic I'm never ever going back there again my salon I'm a regular at is all the way in daphne about 30 minutes but I've been going there around 13 years or more what Tony and Emily did was dishonest bc they tried to make me believe they did solar and I know the difference I can go to my regular place pay 75.00 and have me looking like a million bucks and would only e in there an hour tops! I'm 46years old I started getting my nails done and pedis since I was 18 I'm not stupid I e graduated college twice and my sister is married to a Vietnamese man and I understand I cant speak it but understand it! I seriously got robbed for all the trouble they should of seriously did what they said and Emily should have redone the sns or solar and on top of that I should of been refunded bc I paid 110.00 for acrylic nails and a regular pedicure not even the gel stuff in the water and that cost 65.00??? Worst experience ever in a nail salon! Scheduled an appointment the day before for mani/pedi for my visiting friend and I. We were seated in 5 minutes but left in the pedi chair 40 minutes before starting. The place was understaffed and they continued to bring people in and seat them in chairs. People were getting exasperated including me. It seemed very unorganized and several people were involved with my friend's service. Tools were borrowed from nearby stations and not cleaned before use. She never got a foot massage Although she got started well ahead of me, my person finished first. We asked for Deluxe pedicure but it was not. We agreed after all the problems we would skip the manicure. When I paid I told the lady I was only paying for regular pedicure instead of deluxe because of all the chaos and she refused. I would still have left 5 for tip. When my friend paid a little later they allowed her to only pay the basic. When I tried to question the lady she was very loud and rude and said they seated us in 5 minutes. Other customers were expressing their disappointment while we were there. The sad part is that this was a great place when it opened-very clean, relaxing, and great service. I don't know what has happened but I have no plans to return. I seldom post reviews but felt others need to know. If in Saraland, go elsewhere.
