I called 911, and she was transported to Banner Hospital, where I am with her now. I fully understand why businesses have cancellation policies, and my concern is not the $17.50 fee itself. My concern is the complete lack of compassion and professionalism in how the situation was handled. I explained the circumstances, texted photos from the hospital, and even offered to provide documentation if needed. Despite that, no one asked how my mother was doing or expressed any concern. Instead, I was met with an argument over the cancellation fee and repeatedly told that it was simply their policy. There is an important difference between a routine last-minute cancellation and an unexpected medical emergency involving a loved one. I would have expected at least a small amount of understanding and empathy in a situation like this. It is unfortunate to lose a loyal customer over $17.50, particularly when the issue was never really about the money. It was about how I was treated during an incredibly stressful and frightening situation. After this experience, I will not be returning.

Mistakes happen, so I called and was told coming back to fix it would be complimentary. When I returned, a different esthetician saw me. The fix literally took maybe 3 minutes total, but instead of simply correcting the issue, she insisted the hair was still there because that area "isn't included" in a Brazilian service. I've been getting Brazilians for over 12 years and have never once had that tiny section intentionally left untouched..... just on ONE SIDE MIND YOU...so the explanation honestly felt dismissive and gaslighting....actually it didn't feel that way. It WAS that way. What made the experience worse was that after fixing maybe 10 hairs, she tried charging me $25 for a "touch-up" that was clearly correcting an honest mistake from the original appointment. The employee I saw around 1 PM on Saturday the 23rd of May seriously needs better customer service training. Customers come back when businesses handle small issues professionally and respectfully -- not when they're made to feel like they're wrong for pointing out a missed spot. Really disappointing experience this time. Train your employees how to handle this better and take accountability.

April 17, 2023 I took a leap and reached out to Krystal at Studio 4 Brows in the hopes that she…read morecould correct a mistake that I made nearly 20 years ago. I originally had my brows done in 2004 in Germany and permanent makeup was just a small blip on the radar of the beauty industry. My brows ended up large, had solid lines and DARK. I immediately regretted my decision and prayed that they would fade, shrink, or that I could hide them with makeup. Fast forward to 2011, and microblading was the newest technique and I had hoped that this could soften the edges by adding hair strokes. The result, my eyebrows were even bigger, black and still looked like a stamp had created them. Thank goodness for Dermablend to cover them. Krystal took my case for saline removal with hopes of one day having "real" looking eyebrows. Many sessions got me considerably lighter before I went to have the laser removal. Thankfully, the first session of the laser even astounded the business owner since the laser achieved such excellent success after just one session. Today, back in Krystal's chair to get the brows of my dreams and she did NOT disappoint! She took the time to accurately and studiously map my brows to match my face, shape, tone and personality. I cried tears of joy that for the first time, I look normal, feel confident and have the face that I always deserved. Brows REALLY do hold that much power! Don't trust them with just anyone. The worker (mom) just watched and did nothing??? She never got up to clean it. This is supposed to be a place of cleanliness. I get that toddlers can be messy, I have a toddler of my own, but this is not the place to have dirty floors, and have a toddler in a diaper (no pants) running around making a mess, sitting in a muddled puddle. I hope they read this take these criticisms into consideration, and fix it.
