The lady who carries them out is a Thai Therapist who trained in Thailand using traditional Thai therapies and you can sure tell. I'm not sure what the technical term is, but she gets right in there, none of this faffing about with a gentle stroke for her. You get a good workout, and you can almost hear your body thanking you as you leave! Also, as the salon is off her house you aren't paying her expensive building costs that a lot of posh salons have to, and you can have a full body massage for an hour for only £25. Try now before the word gets out, the prices go up and you have to beg for an appointment!

First time at this salon yesterday and it most definitely won't be the last…read more I was looked after by one of the co-owners, a really lovely girl called Tracy. I had gel overlays done on both my finger and toe nails and it was a very pleasant experience. So pleasant in fact that I was late for the school run as Tracy and I chatted so much. Sorry kids. Tracy did an excellent job of tidying up my messy cuticles on both hands and trotters and then did my gels in a lovely dark dark purple. Sometimes the gel can be a little smudgy around the edges of the nail, but not when Tracy does it. After the relaxing nails bit came the pain factor - an eyebrow wax. I must say Tracy kept the pain to a minimum and applied a very soothing cream afterwards. Then the bit which I expected to be the most painful - paying the bill. The prices at BT4 are very reasonable to start with - a full £10 cheaper for finger nails than my usual salon. And get this - Tracy gave me a 15% discount as a first time customer!! So the bit I expected to be most painful was actually the best bit! I will most definitely go back to BT4 and would totally recommend it. It's not the most luxurious salon you will find in Belfast but with customer service and prices like I got yesterday, it is fab. One last note - when you have gone in the door off the street, you will have to go through a metal gate, which is unusual to say the least. I was a little taken aback and I'm not sure why it's there, but please don't let it put you off!!

i went here just one monday when passing on my day off hadnt been from it was called elaines and…read moreseen that it was under new management so thought i would give it a go. the girl that waxed my eye brows was reali lovey and obtained a great shape i couldnt belive it the atmosphere was nice and relaxing and my eyebrows didnt even go as red as normal. so when i was waiting i was having a we nosey at the price list and seen that the overlays colour using bio sculpture started from £20 couldnt believe it as i normaly go to nails inc and pay anything from £45 so after i got such a great eye brow waxed i booked in for the following week for my soak off and french overlay which was £30 still £20 cheeper than nails inc it was great. I got a different girl for the nails called tricia and she was just as nice as the girl i had the week before the nails were great perfect shape and they even lasted just as long as nails inc 4 weeks so needless to say i have returned for my nails and saved my self a forture. there is always special offers on and the girls have converted my from decleore to dermalogica products. the girls are so friendly and do go the extra mile. i was slightly confussed when first arriving about the cast iron gate the greeted me but i asked the girls why it was there and they happily explained :D it is there for a gud reason as all things always are. would deffinetly recomment and will be trying other treatments in the future so will keep everyone posted on how they go.

It's the kind of friendly salon where you usually end up joining in the conversations of the therapist and customer sitting next to you which is great and so not intimidating; the whole experience is friendly and relaxed which someone makes the waxing hurt less! I always get my nails done here and one of the things I love is that the girls are such experts that you can have your overlays done in about 45 minutes which is great as I tend to spend most of my days chauffeuring small children around Belfast to school, rugby, swimming, tennis, etc etc etc. Any 'me' time has to be strictly limited even for yummy mummies! One hour is usually plenty for my nails and an eyebrow wax and I always leave feeling like a new woman. Having my nails done just makes me feel more groomed and taming the monobrow is always going to help! Prices and competitive and the service just lovely and it's pretty easy to get parked just outside. Gemini is a great salon; spotlessly clean and super friendly. Oh and they do a great spay tan, with the whole top floor devoted to the wonder product that is St Tropez. I've never had a streak yet!

There was a large cat lounging on the waiting sofa and the whole place was filthy and smelt of smoke. I was just contemplating leaving when I was told I was ready to be taken and shown to one of the treatment rooms. Ahead of getting changed I ventured to the loo - upon seeing the toilet I decided against using it. It was dirty, without toilet roll, soap or hot water. The treatment room was grubby and also smelt of stale smoke - but I'd come this far.....the 'massage' was one hour of being rubbed with no pressure, rhythm or professional feel to it. After the awkward hour was over I was very relieved to be able to leave - passing the salon cat leisurely sprawling on a treatment bed as I went. All evening my eyes were sore and itchy - and this morning I have awoken to find them swollen, ever more itchy and uncomfortable. The only conclusion I can come to is that at some point the cat was lying on the massage bed I was on, and I have spent an hour with my face on cat hair and I have had a reaction. Once inside it is very clean and presentable. I was welcomed straight away and then whisked off for my massage. They girl was friendly and helping. Telling me muscles that where tight and how to help them. The massage was deep and very thorough. They have a vast range of services. Including lazer tattoo removal.

I've been jet black, ruby red and bleached blonde, and every time is a winner. There is always good banter with the staff too, and it might seem a small thing, but the mags are always of a good gossipy quality, perfect if you are there for a while and you need something to read while you sip your free cappuccino. If you want a weekend appointment you need to get in early, but midweek mornings are a gift. They aren't the cheapest on the road, but you are definitely worth it!
