Went to get my toes done for my birthday. I was displeased…read morethat they charged me 5 dollars extra because I wanted 5 colors (rainbow) for my toes. The lady claimed it takes them longer, which is BS. It takes mere seconds to alternate between colors and takes no longer to dry. I wasn't asking for a design on each toe. Literally just the color itself on each toe. Despite me politely mentioning it, they stuck with charging 5 extra bucks. I timed how long it took for 3 coats of gel, and it was 10 minutes total, which included the heat lamp to cure the gel. That's just a little over 3 minutes for each round of paint for both feet. Alternating between colors took seconds. I REALLY wanted those colors, and since it's gross to charge 5 extra dollars for no reason, that extra 5 dollar charge was the tip. The deduction of stars has nothing to do with how it turned out and everything to do with a lack of ethics. This was my first time back in years. Unfortunately, I won't be back.

I am because a friend and I looked up elegance nails last night and ended up there, but the sign said VIP nails. I'm under the impression that it is the same place, and maybe they changed their name. Anyhow, it's a Friday evening at 6:50, and like any other sane women, a friend and I got the itch for some last minute relaxation. Desperate, I called around to find that every other nail salon closes at 7 pm. Luckily, they answered and said they didn't close until 7:30 and said to rush right over! We arrived probably at 7:15, so obviously the workers were going to stay much later than closing to accommodate us. I was worried that they would rush the job and hurry us out, but they did the total opposite! One woman offered us both a glass of white wine. They also did not skimp on the massaging! They definitely did a wonderful job, seeing as we're the ones who kept them way later. They also did not have an attitude about it. I'm impressed! I changed mt review to 3 starts because the day after my pedicure, I had a nasty toe infection. Not thinking it was coincidental!
