Wednesday morning, some extremely rude man from this shop called my office, accused us of cold call telemarketing and hung up before I even knew who he was. So, I looked up the telephone number and found out it was "Light House Lamp Repair." If that's how they treat potential customers, I certainly won't be giving them any business. I didn't catch they guy's name, but he could stand to learn some manners.

Parts of the area has seen better days. We popped into both this is antique store, and one down the block. They had an interesting selection of items and they were reasonably priced. We spent some time talking to the super friendly owner that lives in Dalton. She said she also sells items online. It's a fun stop in an otherwise very quiet area (at least on a Tuesday morning). The Post Office window-service was already closed for the day at 11:30am!

I found the yarn I needed online at Firefly and emailed to order some. The store associate emailed me back and in the same hour I had completed the order and the yarn shipped out the next morning. I was so impressed with how responsive they were and I appreciated how absolutely lovely the associate was! Beautiful selection of nice yarns including several brands I've heard of but not yet tried, (Julie Asslain, Socks Yeah, and Hedgehog) and several favorites, (Malabrigo, Brooklyn Tweed, Opal, and Blue Sky Fibers). I was immediately greeted when I entered and asked if I required help. It was my first time in so I asked to look around. I saw another employee at the back helping people with knitting and suggesting good local lunch locations for people inquiring. Lovely selection of needle cases, lotions, coffee mugs, knitting bowls, and other accessories knitters might enjoy. Large mostly-wool selection though I did see some Quince Kestral for summer season knitters. Definitely worth the stop while traveling from Madison to Green Bay.

Ordered a loom only to learn days later it was on back order. I needed for an upcoming class. So…read morewas hoping to hear something since Susan was at a weekend festival (craft market?). However, after a week of silence asked for a refund only to get a 3-4 word reply "refund on shuttle". The fact she didn't pick up the phone to say "hey sorry about that, it's going to be x number of days" would have helped. But her silence made me suspicious and ultimately had to ask my credit card company to intervene to get my money back. Not at all a company i would trust. EVER!
