Came here for a bachelor party, and it was honestly the best zoo experience I've ever had - and one of the coolest excursions I've ever done, period. The guides were incredible. They were extremely knowledgeable, not only sharing facts about each type of animal, but also telling us about the individual animals themselves - their personalities, stories, and little quirks. We were lucky enough to feed so many animals, including monkeys, lemurs, hyenas, a rhino, and tortoises. We even got to interact with some of them, including a baby gibbon, sea otters, monkeys, and kangaroos. This was an experience I'll never forget, and I'm extremely grateful to the zoo and the team for making it such a special day. If you're coming to Broken Bow / Hochatown / Oklahoma - or honestly, anywhere within reasonable distance of planet Earth - you need to visit Beavers Bend Safari Park at least once. read more

Spur of the moment activity we decided to do before leaving broken bow. The walk through safari has lots of monkeys and other animals to see and even feed. The drive through portion was cool but be prepared for it take a while as a lot of the cars kept stopping for long times to feed and pet the animals. Couldn't see King George very well but it was still a great experience and I loved just seeing the animals in the woods enjoying themselves. My first impression is that it was so clean! It didn't have an overpowering animal waste smell like most zoo type attractions. Our girls are 2 and 3 years old and they easily kept up and had so much fun hand feeding carrots and lettuce to the fawns, emus, and elands. The drive through track was also very cool, although the only animals we could get to eat from our hands were the deer in the first section. read more

We visited the beavers bend safari park on 02/28/26 and selected the general admission, otter experience, and a bag of feed. We tried coffee while visiting which was a lovely addition, but relatively unremarkable. Granted, it's a safari park! The walk through small animal exhibit has come a long was since I visited years ago. The entire area is well maintained and the animals seem happy and healthy! One of the hyenas we're limping though and we let management know so hopefully they were able to follow up. The otter experience was really disappointing. It's $40pp, 2 person minimum... so $80. We had twenty minutes to hang out with the two otters on the property, but our time was shared with another couple. The otters were really tired and we were told they had done four meets already, and they had several in line next. By the end of our experience, they were both asleep under the bench. The guide said they usually have a system, but she wasn't sure what happened to it. It seemed like they were getting a bit money hungry and forcing as many experiences as they can which sucks for both the guest and the animals. It really cheapens the very experience outing. I hope the owners are able to put some attention to the matter. They had other animals/experiences we would've chosen had we known the situation. I also thought we would be learning about the otters and we were just seated in the enclosure to play with them with every little interaction or communication from staff. If you pay for a premium experience, you would expect one. The drive through was really well thought out and enjoyable. I love that the animals seemed well cared for and respected! We would definitely come back, but likely wouldn't invest in the more expensive experiences. read more

I surprised my wife with an otter experience when we came here and she absolutely loved it! The otters were very playful and our group was small, so they spent a lot of time with each person. The other exhibits in the park were fun to walk around and see, and they did a good job of using the space they have. The only disappointing part was the drive-through safari. The animals were often not close to the path and could be hard to see at times, but overall we really enjoyed our time and will definitely be coming back the next time we are in Oklahoma! read more

We had a sloth experience, and it was amazing. The girl giving the sloth tour was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about them. We had to buy the safari park tickets also, but it was sooo worth it. The drive through was really nice and there were lots of animals to see, as well as in the walk about. I would highly recommend bringing the family or just your partner to this safari. Can't wait to go back and interact with the otters next!!!!! read more

Went here for the first time with family and had a decent experience. I don't like their setup where you have to park the car first, regardless if you already have a ticket or not, and then go inside to check-in. Of course it can get busy inside with other people buying merchandise and other stuff and you will be just stuck behind them until it is your turn. What is the point of buying ticket online if everybody needs to get in line to check in? Customers arriving, specially with tickets, wants to start their drive through experience as soon as they can. Drive through check in should be outside just like the setup other similar attractions have. Drive through experience was good although not much animals were coming to us even though we had food for them and we went as soon as they open in the morning. Your ticket also does include the walk through animal attractions they have it inside once you are done with the outside. Price for the animal food is expensive based upon the quantity you get as animal will be finishing those from you in no time! The other part I didn't like is them charging additional (Service/Convenience/Processing) fee on top of their regular price and the tax! They charge this fees online as well as at the store on everything. I may understand charging online, but why charging at the store if the normal price is already on the expensive side? Normal price should include everything except the tax. To me it is kind of deceiving just to have customers come in. read more

This is a truly impressive place and experience. The facility is best in class and the number of animals you will enjoy seeing from your vehicle is unbelievable. We love taking our youngest daughter to see the animals here. The experience is worth every penny. Do not be put off by the price. I promise you will enjoy it. overall, a great experience we actually stayed on the property and the where the buffalo Rome cabin and it was amazing. The Safari itself was great. We did the otter encounter and absolutely enjoyed it. I would highly recommend doing the otter encounter if you want up close and personal, we got to play with the otters and pet them. read more

1. Try to go as early as you can so the animals are hungry and more likely to come to the feeding trough. 2. Amazing staff. Very helpful and explained thoroughly expectations from us as well as the walkabout and safari experience. 3. Amazing animal views in the walkabout as well as feeding specified animals. There was a pig walking freely and he was the cutest, sweetest guide :) The drive thru was at 3:45/4p when we got in. Most animals had been fed and weren't super interested in the feed (except llamas. They always eat there!). We got great views regardless, but I would set expectations that you might not see animals at every curve or feeding trough (that's never guaranteed of course). We would go back and do the ultimate package ($200 for 2 people), as you can feed their rhino and other animals. Beautiful building, well kept facilities. Love it! read more

We love coming here when in Broken Bow. One of the best places to go or bring your kids too when in town. Staff is super friendly, the place is so nice and clean. I love the gift shop area and the coffee shop in the main building. They offer great encounters now, I love all the feeding encounters. The drive through part is great too; plenty of feeding stations and you get to see all sorts of cool wildlife. Definitely go here! read more

Visiting from Texas, and we came out during our couples vacation! It was my fiancés first time doing a drive through safari park (we're from Dallas and have several in the area near us). That being said this park is fairly new and the parks near us have been open for many years, meaning the animals there are a lot more acclimated then at this location but none the less we still had an amazing time! The inside shop is super cute with a little coffee shop! They have a walk about animal area you can feed up close emus, kangaroos, lamas, pigs and goats I believe? Going through the park took about an hour and they had some seriously cute animals! Don't forget the cow out near the end behind a fence, that sweet baby was my favorite! Feeds not too expensive at all! I do recommend doing the buy 5 scoops get 1 free as for us 2 we used almost both bags! They recommend us take any leftover to our cabin and deer would come up and they were absolutely right! We hadn't seen deer all weekend and that same night saw 2 by our cabin! Inside staff was really awesome as well and they're still adding more! read more

We did the otter encounter here. We arrived 15 minutes before our encounter began. When we went over to wait we stood outside the encounter 10 minutes passed our time before someone told us they were running behind. We were told the group infront of us showed up late so they were running "just a little behind". 23 minutes passed our time and finally we were up. We were told we would still get our full time. The otters were really fun but just know it's 10 people and two otters. We were scheduled at 11, got in the encounter at 11:23, and it ended at 11:46. So turns out our time got cut short which was upsetting since the park tickets and otter and encounter tickets were between $80-$90 a person. As fun as it was to see the otters I wouldn't recommend it. They don't have a late policy from what I could find so if they run behind your encounter might get cut short. It just sucks that you don't get your full time for the money you spend. read more

Was great for the little ones. They had lots of cool animals and it is very well kept. It is pricy to get in but worth it.

I was a little nervous the cost wouldn't live up to the experience , but this was one of the highlights of our trip. We absolutely loved both the driving and walking portion of the trip. The variety of animals out in nature was amazing and they were very active. We went mid week and were able to move at our own pace. I would highly recommend this for any family looking to have a good time . We bought the food to feed the animals on the drive and would recommend that as well. read more

Such a nice little safari park! The drive through park was fun for us and the kids. Lots of animals to feed, and the kids really enjoyed it. It's not huge, but they have a nice variety of animals to look at. We got there pretty late in the day, so the animals were pretty full, so if you want to have a lot come to the car, be sure to go earlier. read more

The park is really nice, friendly staff and plenty to see. There's both a drive thru and a walk through. They charge per adult/child versus per car so for 2 adults and 2 infants (free) it cost $80. That did not include the pellets to feed. Unfortunately while driving over one of the metal bridges a rod of rebar came loose and popped our tire. Staff was helpful in getting our spare on but sadly they offered no refund, discount for the replacement tire seeing as the damage done was not our fault. The experience itself was nice and would definitely recommend but just be careful when going over the bridges! read more

I have been to many drive through safari's and this is one of my top favorite. The walk through part with beautiful water areas and cages with animals is a beautiful set up. The stations in the drive through area in my opinion were a lot better than feeding the animals directly as sometimes the numbers or bigger animals can get a little aggressive. Well maintained and lots of animals to see and enjoy! Only thing I would say about this place vs others, is they charge by person vs car. It's a bit more expensive than most, but that's also how they keep their property so well maintained I suppose. You pay to play! read more

More animals. There's a few animals. You can't feed them from your car only the feeders. Still under construction. We paid so much money to go and it was a very short drive. I do not recommend this place for maybe a year until they can get it together. When we pulled up and was walking out from paying for the feed, thhere was a car handing us their feed because they said it's just some deer and they didn't even come up to eat. Waste of money. Expected price to be per car, not $35 per person in the car. Feed is expensive and by the scoop which is about the size of a kids cup. When you drive through, you see some animals in the distance and not very many close up. We were given a guide with all the animals but only saw a handful. Out of all the animals we could feed at the stations, we only fed 2. All the rest of the feeding stations were empty and no animals around. Wife and I were on an anniversary trip to Hochatown and decided to visit this little gem. Despite having been to the area 5 times we never realized it was there! Very nice facilities and the drive through safari was a lot of fun. The walkabout zoo was beautifully maintained and it's obvious the animals are pampered. We saw a LOT of animals and had a great time, very friendly staff and a great coffee shop! read more
