Brad is amazing. For the first time i feel like our taxes were done correctly. He was attentive and asked questions to get us the best refund. They make everything so convenient from uploading docs to zoom call. Definitely make that appointment. So glad our son referred them to us. read more

Will not even give 1 star. Filed extensionon without talking to me. Called and asked what is going on kept telling me they will get back to me. No answer on whether I owe or due a refund. Finally I get answer from someone who tells me my taxes have been done. Sends me email showing me I owe and two months behind on paying it. Wow and I owe them 175.00. It made me give 1 star to submit. Do not use these people!!!!!! read more

If you want your taxes done accurately this is not the place to get them done! For two years we didn't thoroughly review their work because we received a refund. This year we now owed $5000! We questioned Brad but he gave us some reasons. When we got home my husband started looking into some things and found a huge error on all 3 years on a pretty basic tax law. We still owe but less than $1000. We also should be receiving $4000 back from the previous 2 years. After sending emails and calling to complain to the owner, we have never heard from him. So much for standing behind your work. Doesn't even have the decency to return an email! read more

Lack of follow up. I have emailed a few times the owner...nothing. I have called 5 times in the past month with important tax questions for my corp. I have been with this company for 12 years and must say it has really gone downhill. If your CPA doesn't get in touch there's a problem. Also have noticed many key employees leaving. read more

We opened our doors in Toccoa, GA in 1989 as a one man operation and have since grown into one of the premier small business accounting firms in North Georgia with 4 full time accountants and 3 full time bookkeepers. I had my taxes prepared way ahead of the deadline. I gave this place all my necessary papers for…read morethe tax preparer. They came back a week later with everything finished and electronically submitted. However, my GA tax return was wrong and I owed the stated money according to a letter I received from the GDR. I called H&R block spoke with Bill and told him I had paid extra for the prep guarantee. He has done NOTHING to help except resubmit to the state. I have yet to receive any information from the state nor Bill. I was supposed to get a letter from the state but it's now 5 months and nothing. I would not recommend this business because after they submit your return, you're forgotten. And the guarantee of fund they were supposed to pay me if they messed up has yet to materialize. Very unsatisfied customer.

My biggest complaint is with the responsiveness of the office. It has taken me AT LEAST 3 calls to get a response from them whenever I have had a question. There is no way to contact them by email as far as I can see from their website, The receptionist often does not answer the phone and I must leave a message to which I usually don't receive an answer. This has been a problem for the past two years that I've used them. I never know if anybody even received my call. I find this extremely frustrating. read more

I have had our taxes prepared at Beavers every year since 2020 when we moved to Clarkesville. We have lived in 2 different states since then and I continue to work virtually with Brad every year to prepare our tax return. He is quick, knowledgeable, and nice.
