My husband & I are in our 50's and have tried numerous ways to shed our unhealthy pounds. We have seen short term results with other programs but never seemed to find a way to maintain a healthy weight. In February 2019 we joined at the Camphill, PA location & my husband lost 40lbs in 1 round of the diet & I lost 30lbs by completing 2 rounds (I must add that my weight loss was slowed due to my hypothyroid condition). 7 mths later we are still at our healthy weight & could not be more excited! This program for my circumstances was a blessing to find. I have done the program a couple of times now. The first time was approximately 5 years ago. I was able to keep the weight off for about a year until I became pregnant. I am currently enrolled and losing the difficult pounds after the baby. The staff is amazing and always available to support and answer questions. I sleep better at night, my hot flashes have stopped, the weight melted off, and it motivates me to stay in a healthy rourine. They sell us on taking these HCG drops like they are some magical solution to dropping the pounds. The reason you lose weight on this diet, is that during the weight loss phase you are only eating 500 calories. This is ridiculous and unhealthy! Stay away and save your money! You will be asked to eat something like 500 calories a day for the first 30 days, while taking supplements and drops, and then you can essentially eat clean with more calories after that for some point in time (30-60 days?). No one at this location is a medical professional, nor do they claim to be, but shouldn't this type of "protocol" be under the supervision of a medical professional? I am a relatively educated person about health, wellness and fitness and found the counselor at this location could not answer simple questions, she just kept repeating her "script" over and over and on more than one occasion contradicted herself in her explanations to me. Glad I didn't waste my money. And, did you see the other review where Dawn (the originator of this organization, not local to the Bryn Mawr location) reached out to a former member in November 2017 and asked the member to take down her review? My daughter and I both had an awesome experience with the BeBalanced Center in Lancaster. After a couple rounds of the weight loss portion of program I lost 50 lbs and my daughter lost over 50 lbs. The staff was very supportive throughout my weight loss journey, answering questions and cheering me on! I am now of my cholesterol and Blood pressure medications and feel great. I am sleeping better and my hot flashes have gone away. The maintenance and Lifestyle phases of the program are essential for keeping the weight off! Save your money. I tried this program for one month. The first month you follow a very low calorie ketogenic diet, take their supplements and use "hormone balancing" drops. I suspect that the weight loss is largely driven by the diet change vs the supplements and drops. So, I would suggest trying a ketogenic diet before purchasing this program. There is plenty of free information available out there.. Also, this is not a medically supervised program. I would rather spend the money on getting a hormone evaluation by a medical doctor to guide choices in hormone balancing. read more

Updated 11/27/2017 I was just recently contacted by Dawn from bebalanced after she came across my review. She wants me to take it down and she is offering a free protocol (which would be my 3rd try). If you read my review below you can see why i said no to her. She sent me a letter claiming my problem was with a drug called metformin which she said i had been taking and she is positive after all this time that was my problem. I was NEVER on metformin. It concerns me her file wasnt even accurate on medications i was taking as i have NEVER taken metformin. She told me she will have to write a review against this since i wont take it down (which is her right) however she made sure to say she gave me free products and offered help i just didnt want it (never happened). At the end of the day i have yet to see a positive review on this protocol which has been out for at least 5yrs. I gave an honest review on service and product that did not work for me. I have proof in emails of her neglect in getting back to me and lack of help..... i have never said dont go to bebalanced my review simply said it didnt work for me. I will not be bullied weather suttle or not to take my review down. *I've had this posted under their old company name Rejuvenation Center....So this is just a repost since I noticed the name change. I went to Rejuvenation center in hopes of correcting my PCOS with their HMC program. After speaking with the owner she had me hooked! 12 days in I was 13lbs down and that's where the problem started and escalated. The remainder of the program I only lost 4lb...it just stopped....nothing changed but me not losing. She passed me off to the nutritionist for my mid point check up in which she had no idea about PCOS and was unable to explain why I wasn't losing and kept insisting "just follow the plan"... I even expressed that I was very dizzy and often felt like I was going to pass out....her reply " just follow the plan. ( my blood pressure was 85 over 53) Very discouraged I finished out the program and made my last apt. with the owner as I wanted to find out why my weight loss just stopped day 12. ( if the program worked I should have lost more toward the end as the drops where correcting my imbalances ) To my surprise when I showed up for the apt she had yet again switched me to see the nutritionist who once again had no idea. Finally she got the owner and silly me was lead on by her talking and ended up being convinced into another round with the guarantee that I would see her and only her. She had me go off my birth control and a diuretic saying they where interfering with my results. So I did. Needless to say week 2 of the second round I stopped losing and gained 2 1/2 lbs... I contacted the owner by e-mail which she said was the best way to reach her and expressed my disappointment.. I got no response so finally I sent another e-mail after several days saying emotionally I couldn't "just follow the plan the plan wasn't working" and that I was taking a mental break... I got a response saying " ok just let me know when you want to restart so I can mark it in your chart" Not no don't stop I'll figure this out or come in and lets talk. After all at this point I was 800 $ invested you would think that would be enough for at least a phone call. At this point I was let down and new nothing would come of me restarting so I asked for a refund on my maintenance portion ( which I hadn't used yet) and my last apt. In which she told me "no" she doesn't give refunds. At this point she asked me for a day that would suite to come in and talk about everything I gave her a date and the date came and went and no response. I contacted her a last time telling her my disappointment and saying it wasn't working out and how I was disappointed in her not refunding my apt. In the end Rejuvenation center didn't work for me.... The product didn't work as advertised and the service was horrendous. I think the program works if you have no underlying problem like PCOS or a thyroid problem. If I where to do it again I would simply save my money and buy drops off line and use the simmion diet as the Rejuvenation Center did nothing to earn the 800 I invested.. read more

I read these reviews and was surprised because my experience has been so positive with Be Balanced. I started my journey to actively pursue a more healthy lifestyle in June of 2016. Be Balance was the first thing that worked for me long term (I tried everything!). I was able to lose 43lbs and maintain my loss. It was definitely a challenge but I have felt so good eating healthy. You have to really want to commit to the process and make changes. The supplements worked great for me as well! Paget was my initial contact and she was a tremendous help getting me started. I have also worked with Khayia and Cheryl that have been very informative and supportive. Everyday I still have to make the right choices with my foods, otherwise my weight will go up when I don't, but I am able to get back on track and my weight goes back down. After reading Dawn Cutillo's book, The Hormone Shift, I called the Be Balanced Center. Dawn answered the phone, and she told me about her center, and the products she offers. Now, the center is in Pennyslvania, and I am in California and I was concerned that that would be an issue. There was absolutely no issue at all. I received all my drops and supplements directly at my home. The staff there is always helpful and knowledgeable. So, if you are having issues with weight loss, and your hormones are out of whack, you have to check out Dawn's book, and call the center. They have the answers to help you lose weight, understand what is going on with your hormones, and how to correct it through diet and supplements. They do not offer a bandaid, or a quick fix. They offer you all the information you could possibly need about hormones and why your body is doing what it is doing. More so than my MD. Such a relief to find them. I was 215lbs at 5'5", and even though I ate right and excercised I continued to gain weight. I had tried other avenues, like weight watchers, starving, and the like. I even looked into gastric bypass as a last resort. When I found the Be Balanced Center, I found answers. I am currently at 168.8lbs. That is a 46.2lbs down. My goal is 50lbs. I started on supplements and drops in August of 2015. Here we are May 2016. And though the weightloss for me was slow, it's consistent and it's staying off. I am so pleased with the center and everything I have learned. If you are a miserable mess, then check them out! Definitely read the book as well. I went into BeBalanced about 2 months ago. I have always had issues with getting a good night sleep and lately my mood was all over the place. I was constantly irritable and it was so frustrating b/c I just wasn't feeling like myself. I started to do some research and came across an article about how the things I was dealing with could be related to my hormones. I was excited to find that there was a place locally that dealt with these issues naturally. I am very hesitant to take any medications b/c I always have weird reactions. I went into the center for a free consultation and I met with a counselor who was very nice and knowledgeable. In my consult, I learned about how hormones can affect all sorts of problems and it made me very hopeful that there might be an all-natural solution to my issues. Although it seemed like their program was weight loss focused, I was pleasantly surprised to find out there were options that could help me because I don't really need to lose weight. After my symptom based questionnaire, they recommended I start using two natural creams to combat my stress and to balance my hormones. Honestly, I was skeptical but also was feeling so crappy I was willing to try anything. Within 2 weeks I noticed that I was actually sleeping through the night and my overall mood was improved! This is a story of how BeBalanced Center changed my life forever, I am so very thankful that I found them! My life with Endometriosis started as a teen. I had horrible periods: very painful cramps, heavy bleeding for a teen, 7 days, as well as a lot of migraines. Before I started using tampons as a teen, I would use 2 extra-long pads just so I could sleep at night, even then I would get up every 3 hours to change them. I would pass so many clots every month, that if it happened now in the 2000's I would have been put on birth control right away. I gained a lot of weight with each pregnancy, 60 lbs with my first. I lost 40 of it before my next one, gained 60 lbs and only lost 40 again. With my third, I gained about 50 and just couldn't lose it.During these years my periods got worse, I had so much back pain all of the time, migraines and I could even feel everything as it passed through my intestines.My periods got worse again and I would use an extra-large tampon and an overnight pad just to get through 2 hours. I would bleed through. I was back to my teen years and worse. I started having ovarian cysts bursting. Nothing like that when you're driving! Then one month, I really started hemorrhaging, so much it scared me. But oddly enough for only 2 days instead of my regular 7. The next month, no blood at all. I was out shopping one day and I was fine, no pain at all. I got home and in seconds I was doubled up and on the floor in a type of pain I had never had before. I couldn't move or even cry out. I wanted to pass out, but didn't. Still no blood. I got to my doctor and more tests and exams and having a hysterectomy was discussed. I had no insurance, so it was a big decision. As my period came around again the same thing happened, the pain and no blood. The plan was to remove my uterus and leave the ovaries. But when my Dr. got in there she told me later that there was so much scar tissue that my ovaries were encased in what she said was like "hamburger". My simple 1 hour surgery became 4 hours and she told me that out of the 1,000 surgeries like this she had done, mine was the second worst. My recovery went reasonably well as these things go. But going into menopause cold turkey was no picnic. I didn't want Hormone Replacement Therapy as all I had researched before suggested that it would not be good for me due to the estrogen. I just couldn't face "feeding the demon" inside me. For that is how I felt. That the endometriosis was the demon ruling my life: what I did and didn't do. My life had been ruled by my period. During this time my weight was going up. I was not focusing on this as I was just trying to survive going through menopause. I did discover that I was not having all of the migraines and back pain that I had been use to all my life. I started to get my life back and I started to pay attention to patterns in my health. Discovering that staying away from anything metabolized in my body to make estrogen was a benefit to me. My weight climbed up to what I weighed when I was 9 months pregnant. I weighed in at about 225 lbs.I was doing better and balancing regarding endometriosis and menopause but weight wise, not good at all. Conventional weight loss ideas were not working, and I had tried. I for some reason found myself passing the BeBalanced center offices on a regular basis. I finally looked it up. It was a final piece of the puzzle for me. All of my research had helped me to a point, but I knew that I was missing something. Then I watched the video and read about progesterone and stress hormones and it all clicked. This was it! It made sense, finished the puzzle and was something that I could actually do. I set up an appointment for a consult. I was desperate and and thought, yes, it is not cheap but neither were all of the other things I had tried and spent money on that didn't work. It would address the hormone issues even if I didn't lose weight. I started the program at about 234 lbs. I was a size 18-20. I am tall enough that most people don't believe that I weighed that much. When I started this program I was in the midst of selling my home, starting a new job and dealing with my mother in law dying. I lost 20 lbs the first month! I continued to lose as I started a job, moved to a new town and apt. Went through Thanksgiving and Christmas still losing and got down to where I hover around now 164, size 10. During 2016 I had: moved 3 times, had 3 jobs, gotten divorced and kept the weight off! This was nothing less than wonderful! Now, lest anyone think that I am very dedicated and strong of mind, I also went on anti-anxiety pills for about 6 months as well. The weight didn't come back.
