I knew of an old family friend nearby, but I also knew that it would be a while before we got our car back, so I started searching the Internet locally and found Precision Collision in Westfield. Impressed by their website and the looks of their shop, I figured they had to be doing something right. I was even more impressed when the Geico damage inspector in Stevens Point knew this fellow by name and said, "oh, yeah, they do great work!". SInce the Sequoia is my wife's car, I was worried about a loaner car as well. Our vehicle was scheduled for work on a specific day, my wife was given a very nice late model VW as a loaner and we were told when the car would be ready. And it was ready, exactly when we were told it would be. And it was done beautifully, and the price was exactly as quoted. All OEM parts were used whenever possible as well. First I want to say that they do their best to keep your costs down…read more However! I do not reccomend taking your vehicle there if you require any form of engine or electronic repairs. Things dealing with the tires and drive capabilities of your vehicle they do a good job. I have dealt with those types of repairs in the past and had positive experience. I recently took my vehicle there for an overheating problem and they were not only unable to repair the vehicle but they were incapable of even diagnosing the issue. Spent over 500 dollars on repairs, got the car back only to find that the problem was unresolved. Took it to a dealership and learned that the car needed over 3000 dollars worth of work. I would not have spent the initial 500+ had the vehicle been properly diagnosed in the initial repairs with Highway Z. I am left feeling like I wasted 500 dollars only to be left without a vehicle. Unfortunately this is not the first time we have experienced this lack of resolution with them. Also had a vehicle with transmission issues that they were unable to repair, and a 2014 Camaro with computer related issues that was not resolved until taken elsewhere. Choose wisely what forms of repairs you take to them. They do try their best but it really is hit or miss.
