He set accurate expectations, and was consistently decent, straightforward, and efficient throughout. In the end, he even discounted his negotiated fees just a bit, again, as he said at the outset he had done before. Still, that was unexpected and appreciated, and I don't know of any other personal injury lawyer who would have done as much. I hope that I never have another personal injury case, but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate asking for help from Eric again.

All three of our firm's attorneys are seasoned trial lawyers. Unlike settlement mill firms, we handle your case from start to finish in-house. We do not refer your case out to another firm in the event that an early settlement cannot be obtained. That demonstrated ability and track record of trying cases is one of the key components to obtaining a fair settlement. In other words, our experience and reputation as successful trial lawyers gives us leverage to obtain a better settlement as compared to firms who have a reputation for avoiding trials. Our goal is not to acquire as many cases as we can get. Our goal is to provide the highest quality legal service to the clients we do choose to accept. In most accident cases, there will be a settlement offered. Through our more than seventy-five years of combined experience and commitment to excellence, we understand that most of the time the first settlement offer does not reflect a fair value for the damages suffered. In these cases we are tough negotiators and are not afraid to take a case to trial. In fact, insurance companies often wait until a lawsuit is filed to offer a settlement worthy of serious consideration.

I couldn't even get a meeting with him, because I was told he had to make the appointments. That was impossible because he never returned most of my messages I left. When we finally had the hearing 3 years later I found out I was the one that needed to produce the information to get the case resolved. It was the other party that was responsible and they avoided doing their job! It took me 15 min. to do something that could have been done way before the hearing. When I finally went to finalize the settlement they had spelled my name wrong, had the wrong address, and his phone number as my phone number. It all had to be changed which took more time. Wouldn't you think someone in his office would go over paperwork to make sure it is right? This nightmare is finally over! It is hard to have faith in attorneys, at least this one! I would NOT recommend him to anyone!

I initially met with Joe Bugni, who really listened to my story and let me know that I was entirely understood and my case would be a good one for this firm. When I signed on as a client, I was represented by the brilliant team of attorney Cricket Beeson and paralegal Yvonne Geertz; with invaluable additional help from Peyton Engel, Stephen Hurley, and Andy Erlandson. Cricket and Yvonne absolutely worked their butts off for me and, at trial, secured the best outcome we could have hoped for. In the process, they showed tremendous empathy, and I found their explanations of what was happening very accessible and reassuring. They are absolutely my heroes.
