Kid K had a root beer float, and liked it. Said the vanilla ice cream was good, and polished off the A&W can they gave her to refill the float with. I had butter pecan-cashew, and it was darn good. Service was friendly. There are plenty of places to sit, outside of the shop. Plenty of parking on both sides. We'll definitely be back.

I love…read moresupporting local stores, and my favorite thing to buy is the foaming hand wash soap from the Glenn Avenue Soap Company, handcrafted in Columbus, OH. My go-to scent is the Bandit's Oil, which sells out quickly, but the owner is always willing to assist and put in an order upon request. The store also accepts plastic bags and films that are not recyclable through Rumpke recycling. Once the city receives 500 pounds of plastics, the TREX company will make a bench for use around the city. So far, over two dozen benches have been made through the efforts of the city's recyclers. I highly recommend that you visit this store in Uptown Westerville.

Also really dig the ceramics, plants, soaps, and body butters. When I go restock there I go in with the mindset that I don't NEED anymore Art AND that I am trying to DOWNSIZE. I registered to join them; they provided coffee and donuts for 7-9 am earlybirds, as well as providing copies for purchase. The staff here is so very nice and helpful. They work very hard on events that one can register for on Eventbrite. There is a great selection of books, and a children's section in the back. Plenty of parking in this U.A. shopping center and right around the corner is The Original Goodie Shop!

Terra Gallery is a working gallery that hosts a variety of hands on events listed either on their site or on eventbrite. I didn't spend much time exploring the gallery because I was pretty sure I'd need all of the time for my project, but there were a lot of interesting looking pieces that I will plan to explore more in the future. The space is a little small, but they have made good use of it, and are planning a move across to Bridge Park soon. I was glad I recruited a friend to join, because we were the only two people in the class! It was a fairly laid back event. The instructor had sketched out the details on the canvases before we arrived, and they provided a little instruction card that kind of showed how to build your piece up. As usual with these events, we ended up with two very different finished products, and my friend chose not to add some of the elements to her piece. April helped her take things out as she preferred. Since it was just the two of us, we were chatting and painting and the instructor was working on her own piece while another woman priced pieces in the gallery. They were very friendly and I had a great time!
