Do not do business with this individual. I was referred to her by a friend and initially completed a few paid sessions. I later paid for additional sessions that were never completed. The final session was scheduled for (02/26/2025). When I arrived I learned she had moved with no notice. I attempted to reschedule multiple times (06/17/2025 and 09/04/2025), but each time the session was canceled or rescheduled due to new excuses, including another move and travel. I formally requested a refund. There was no "no-refund" policy stated on her social media, posts or in our conversations. Communication became minimal, and I only received responses after raising concerns about scamming, followed by repeated excuses for why a refund could not be issued. As of (01/08/2026), I have received $25 of the $240 paid. I have since spoken with multiple others who report similar experiences. I would strongly caution anyone considering booking with Suzanne. My sister scheduled a photoshoot in May 2025, and Sammy paid $300 to reserve the session. Before the shoot date, Suzanne moved to Chicago and canceled -- but never refunded the payment. We've reached out multiple times through text and email, and she's completely ignored all attempts to resolve this. It's now been months, and despite our patience and professionalism, we've received no refund and no response. We wanted to handle this privately and respectfully, but it's clear we're being ignored. I paid for a session over a year ago. We kept having to postpone, which was ok. Then, a couple days before I was finally set to get my pictures done I asked a question about client closet and the shower session I paid for. She then informs me neither is available. Had I not asked, I would have shown up and had nothing. I decided to cancel and asked for a refund. I've now been asking for almost a FULL YEAR for my money to be returned. This "business" (and I use that word VERY lightly) is so incredibly unprofessional. From the way you are spoken to, to the product you receive, to not even receiving what you paid for. She is very rude and I will absolutely not return for further photos. After I paid 2500 for photos, I received the online copies, and only maybe 10 were something that I enjoyed. The rest (60-100) were not good at all. A photo book and a print out were also part of the package, and it has been 3+ months and I haven't received them. I've emailed multiple times with either no response, or snarky responses back. This is an awful business and awful person running it! She's all over the news! I purchased a boudoir session and paid ahead as she asked. She promised hair and makeup at an extra charge and that she has a full clients closet. The day before the shoot I had reached out to her to make sure we were still on for the shoot. She then asked me if I could change it to an earlier time that day which I couldn't. Then she proceeded to tell me that she doesn't have the clients closet due to the fact that she had just moved and didn't get it set up yet. Something gave me weird vibes about it. I told her I would like to cancel as she promised me there would be a closet because I don't have my own stuff. She had already taken my full payment and I asked for a refund and she proceeded to tell me she doesn't have the money to pay me back. I explained to her that if I don't receive my money back that I'd take her to court. She had promised to pay me monthly and has refused to follow through! I constantly have to check in with her, even though she says I don't, because if I don't I get no payment and no sort of communication from her. When she finally responds, after about a 2-3 weeks, she has some piss pore excuse as to why she didn't answer or why she can't pay. I've at least gotten half from her and don't see getting anymore but I know from now on I'll be doing lots of research before hiring anyone! If I could give no stars to this review I would! I mean, look at the way she replies to reviews, is this someone you really want to risk doing business with? I'd suggest you do some googling and join some Bridal/Boudoir pages to see some honest reviews of this business and all of the other business moniker's she uses to deflect her defamations. She was reported to authorities by hundredddds of women last year for over promising and purely NOT delivering. THANK ME LATER. And while she defends herself all over this yelp page, it's worth noting that her clients weren't the only ones who reported her to authorities. Her UNPAID employees did too. She is infamous for canceling on her clients DAY OF with no notice and no option to reschedule or refund. However, she is most infamous, though, for stealing your money. She'll feed you the most RIDICULOUS lie as to why she can't make it to the shoot that day (seriously, google her, there are tons of first hand reviews on her ethicality from clients and professionals), she then begs a freelance photographer to take over her session, promising she'll pay them in a week when her cat is out of the hospital, or in a few days when her broken leg heals, or after she gets back from the ER cause she was ironically bitten by a flying Komodo Dragon on her way to the studio. ONLY TO NOT PAY HER FREELANCE PHOTOGRAPHER THEIR DUES, which leaves both the photographer and client unfulfilled. And here's why: the photographer holds on to the photos until they're paid by suzanne / however, the client already paid suzanne in full months prior. so now what was suzanne's problem on your shoot day, is now directly yours. It's as if you're working with an entirely new business instead of an extension of her business when she sources out freelancers. it doesn't matter that you paid in full already, this photographer didn't get a dime for their time yet from suzanne so they will NOT release their work for "free" to you. so WHERE ARE MY PICTURES SUZANNE?! WHERES MY REFUND?! Why are you stealing from people?! She filed bankruptcy because "she couldn't keep up with payments," and "got behind on scheduling" and that sounds like a sorry ass excuse to me. She had ample opportunity to make things right with her associates and clients and chose to ignore them self-righteously. even in the highest water, suzanne continued to rebrand and take money from people. when the articles started surfacing, she rebranded. when women started speaking out, she started making threats on her facebook. when she had the chance to say "sorry, im so booked out and i'm unable to accept new clients at this time," she instead ran "deals" for new clients to continue stealing peoples money without any intention of fulfilling her commitments. The images I receive back are of the some of the highest quality for sultry and elegant boudoir. It is obvious she understands mood, setting, natural light, and is friends with her camera. I bought a special milestones package from Suzanne for maternity, newborn, four month, six month, nine month and a year - I know, amazing. The price was great but the pictures!!!!! Omg she's so INCREDIBLE! my husband's into photography and extremely critical of photos and he was blown away. She's so talented and babies are so her thing. She just lights up when she sees them. She's also so super fast and makes you feel comfortable with posing.
