I went in here last weekend to look for throw rugs, not bathroom rugs, but throw rugs for my sun room. BB and B used to have a nice rug selection. Not anymore. They have bathroom and kitchen rugs and that's it. What I found really interesting and really not useful was the huge selection of bathroom products they had. Shampoos, conditioners, Rogaine. I want household stuff, like throw rugs, not products to use in my house. I want a real rug, not a Rogaine kinda rug. Please utilize that space for household items. I can get my shampoo at Walmart or the grocery store. I can't get a throw rug just anywhere. PS the At Home Store has boat loads of throw rugs if that's what you're looking for. I did buy a coffee mug and service was good, polite and effecient. read more

This store is kinda nuts, stuff piled so high I know where they get the Beyond in the name from! Beyond where anyone can reach! They do have lots of stuff, wether its cooking, cleaning, bedroom, bathroom, heck they even have food! I found it slightly annoying you could not return something that was gifted to you without the reciept for full price! They take 20% off and then they just give you store credit, but they give you store credit for 80% of what your item was worth! That's not cool! Oh well, the store was clean and the staff was over helpful! I did like that old SNL skit about Bed Bath and Beyonce, I just wish she was here to make this place more likable! read more

Cece the girl with the faded blue hair and Lindsay were extremely rude. I was very nice and happy to come in to the store. After checking out I felt insulted and I will not be coming back. I'm very disgusted and disappointed by there service. These young girls should not work with customers with these kind of attitudes. Ruined my favorite store and my holiday shopping. They were extremely rude and very unhelpful once again I Hope I've gotten my point across. Bed bath and beyond will loose businesses with these kind of employees working there. I really like this place because it has lots of unique items that you don't usually see anywhere else. When I'm looking for something different, I can usually find it here. They offer lots of variety whether it be bed sheets, curtains or bath ensembles. I also LOVE the kitchen gadgets! I'm a sucker for that stuff. However, my main beef with this location is it's WAY too crowded! The aisles are so narrow you can barely maneuver around with your cart. And if you meet someone going the opposite way, forget it! One of us has to give up our route. It's pretty annoying that 2 people can't pass each other in the aisle, not convenient for shoppers at all! And during the Christmas shopping season....impossible! Also, the clearance items are hardly clearance priced. 20 or even 30 percent off is not a clearance IMO, it's just a regular sale. If you're not going to take 40 percent or more off, fine. But don't label the shelves "clearance", simply call them "on sale". Of course I will continue to shop here, but they really need to consider making more room to move. Perhaps reduce inventory. (You can always reduce in-store color selection, for example. Heck, you can order online in the store and have it delivered to your home for free.) I don't know, but the crowded aisles are really frustrating. read more

I recently bought my daughter a Step 2 ride on car and had a hard time putting it together so I went in to the Clive location and Nate and Fedela were so kind to help me put it together! I tried ordering a curio cabinet online after failed attempts and calling customer service I was told I have to go to the store to do so, by now it is Black Friday, yeah just what a disabled person wants to do is fight the crowds to order one item but i did.i called customer service twice before ordering to make sure there weren't going to be problem with this huge item they assured me all kind of things were in the works they have parts people, glass doctors and they would have this looking great if any problems arouse. So I spent the money..... Long story short after more than 6 additional conversions or letter from me with pictures surveys, ect, I was told the glass doctor would contact me by Wednesday., 4 ago never heard anything they asked me to asses damaged and i did at 370 but they offered me 100.00 instead and i said i just want to be done with it if you can put it back on my card now, i will take it because i won't ever shop here again and today i got a confirmation that i am receiving a 100.00 gift card, so I got nothing, because this is my third broken item from there, it told them flat out I am done and won't be a customer anymore. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with asking an old lady that just got a cell phone to take picture of glass and then saying they won't work, I need to keep taking more, Where were your people that were coming to take care of this when I told you before ordering I couldn't handle the stress my mom just died and I am in bad health. You people were suppose not have me doing all of the leg work just sending the fix it man that never showed...here I sit with a scratch up curio and a gift card to use as an ice scrapper...Thanks so much for doubling my stress over the holiday season I will never get back :( read more

I was just in your store 10/15/18 at around 3:30 PM in Clive, IA on University Ave and I experienced the worst customer service I have ever had. The woman checking me out was extremely rude and condescending, raising her voice at me that I was wrong about a price on an item. I felt like she was berating about the price of the item and would not let me explain myself. When I then tried to use a coupon I realized I hadn't printed it off correctly and there was no barcode for her to scan. Instead of trying to help me she continued to be condescending to me about the correct way to print the coupon. I was so flustered I just left the store as I did not want to support a store with such a rude worker. I understand everyone has bad days but when working in retail you should always put those emotions behind you and treat your customers with respect. I would hate for this type of behavior towards paying customoers to hurt your store. I know I will be purchasing my item from a different store or online as I am very upset about the way I was treated by this woman. I have and will continue to share my disappointment with your store to my friends and family. read more

My recent visit here was pretty good. I saw some cute tapestries in their ad and that's why I stopped by. I love that they send out coupons all the time. I asked a couple of associates stocking shelves where the tapestries were and they were both super friendly. I have always loved this store -- gadget paradise!! read more

My s/o and I came to this location to set up our wedding registry, we worked with a representative named Aly and it was just an awful experience. Right off the bat when she asked for my phone # and heard the out of town area code she started asking questions about where it was from- then proceeded to rant about how awful it would be to live in said town/state, I love my hometown so this immediatly put me on edge. Then she preceeded to snidely remind us 10+ times about how much time we have until the wedding, (we have a year still) we're wildly aware of how much time we have left but she went out of her way to make us feel like fools for planning this far in advance. And then every time we tried to add something to the registry she had to make a comment about it "you dont want that" "this is so much better" (and also 3x the price) we told her repeatedly that we already have everything we need and we knew what we wanted for this specific registry but she would respond with "no I know what you need". We got into a bit of an argument when she saw we put this "cheap" cookware on the registry, she kept repeating that this is not what "we want" even though we said that it was fine and that was the product we want to register for-- still miffed when I got home I looked said product up only to find that it gets 4.5+ star reviews from every site that sells it! She turned what I thought was going to be a nice afternoon with my s/o into a nightmare, we will likely just not be using BB&B for our registry, but like she liked to point out - thank god we have SO much time to sort it out. I love that they are pretty much a one stop shop, but I don't think they have the right person working in the bridal department. read more
