I would give them 3 stars but due to the experience I had while shopping there tonight, they are getting a big fat 2. My husband and I went in this evening to look for some new pillows. This is the only place we buy our pillows. Upon walking into the store, I checked in with my Yelp app and began to take some pictures while on our way to the pillows. I immediately made eye contact with one of the employees who I can only assume was the manager or supervisor on for that shift. I don't know what she thought I was doing, but we were watched the entire time we were in there. They did not have the normal pillows we buy, so we looked around for a few more minutes. I ended up purchasing one item, and while we were leaving the store, the same woman who stared us down in the beginning continued to watch us as we were walking to our car. I can't say why she thought she needed to watch us so closely, but this is the first time I have ever felt so uncomfortable in a store. I am guessing that when she saw me taking pictures, it set off a red flag of some sorts to her. I honestly felt like walking right up to her and asking her what the issue was.....but I didn't. I usually enjoy shopping here, as there is never many customers and I can shop peacefully. The store itself sells good items, and many things you can't find elsewhere in Missoula. I don't know how they have managed to stay open as long as they have because the parking lot is always empty, even on the weekends. This particular store is always clean, but some areas of the store, especially the clearance sections, can be very much messy and cluttered, as you can see in the photos. Bottom line: I regret not walking up to the lady who was giving us a stare down and confronting her, but if that ever happens again, you can bet that I will. read more

The staff like so many retail stores in Missoula is horrible. i went to buy two of my pillows and was lectured on how he is anti-American and pro trump so we stopped selling them. He is a racist I was told by staff. they demeaned the product I wanted to buy. I will not ever go back. Used for Wedding Registry **Beware, their advertisement that you can get cash back on returns is only good for ONE TIME. My wife had already taken a couple things back from her bridal shower and unknowingly used this "one time," "courtesy" benefit. So when we went to return some individual pots so that we could get the set (which was over $400 cheaper on amazon.com), we found out that we could only get in-store credit. So now we're stuck with a couple hundred dollars of in-store credit and don't have anything that we want to use it on. And their Registry Girl is extremely pushy. We were there back in September 2012 trying to scan things into our registry and she WOULD NOT leave us alone!! We had already read reviews on pots and pans and had pretty much decided on them, but she would not give up on touting the most expensive ones (of course). We finally had to go to a different section of the store and practically avoid her. I wish we would not have registered here. We didn't end up getting that much from here anyway. I felt profiled - it's difficult to explain but just made to feel as if I'd done something wrong. I was going to buy an espresso maker online but decided to go and see what bed bath and beyond had, and if they could price match. I really didn't want to wait for one to ship so was even willing to pay more to get one today, so had a second price match in mind should the first not be ok. The initial price match was from an unfamiliar supplier so I was clear with her (assume the manager), that I would understand if it was not approved (naturally need to see if its an approved source as it was the lower price). I sat at the desk of the lady helping me, and told her if it didn't work I had some lower prices from amazon or their own stores advertised price - (was different than in store for some reason), so front loaded that I was aware this supplier may not be approved. Was very clear on this. I was told it was fine to match and was happily surprised. I was told they could not use any coupons - (naturally), so I went about looking around for something to use my coupon on. I wouldn't expect to use a coupon in addition to that low price anyway but she told me none-the-less. Then she emphasized I could not return anything without a receipt. I wasn't expecting to return it at all so am not sure why she was so adamant about that with me in particular. Do they tell all of their customers that as they purchase things? I went to look around, and was tracked down to be told the price match could not be approved any longer - due to it being from an unapproved source. I was okay with that, and was prepared to hear no in the first place, so ...I was prepared to step up to their price as advertised (in store was significantly more but their website stated it was on sale). I still wanted the item and was ready to ask about their own advertisement, or that from amazon. She was hesitant to use their own store coupon stating - "I cant match our own store online price but can use the coupon for you ...but cant do that or amazon. It was their own store and I made sure she could see this. She told me again "no - but that she could use my coupon". That wasn't what I was asking so asked again if they would honor the price they themselves had listed. I was told the item could be ordered in. I can do that myself so said no thank you and left. She had basically said "no" to selling me the item at the price their own site listed. I think she may have been mad at me due to her error in approving the prior price match but I had zero problem when she changed her mind on that. I asked her if amazon or their own store advertisement was not match worthy what would be. She said "kohl's or other stores in town." I stopped for gas on the way home, and made a call - it was recommended I call them so I did - I asked why they would not honor the price their own advertisement had listed. I was told "if its in stock we will but we cant combine it with the coupon." I told her I knew this about the coupon as she had told me this in the store (Its common sense but she was really stuck on coupons usage as she must have said this 6-7 times to me). I was being gaslighted as she had sent me away without honoring it to begin with so now it was supposedly my misunderstanding). I was speaking to the same lady who has blown it by not honoring their own stores advertised price. I don't like being gaslighted. I feel I was treated like I had done something wrong. I wish the brain would work a little faster for those in charge - given the fact that I had asserted that I had wanted a price match from their own site - which was rejected three times before I left the store. I drove all the way back there, but I really just don't think that lady has a clue about anything regarding that stores policies. I certainly don't know their policies so if she doesn't who helps the customer? I feel as if she tried to spin things in order to use me as a scapegoat for her initial judgement. It would have been so nice to just hear - "wow - that source I approved is bogus but lets see what else you had in mind." Instead - she made me feel as if it was my fault that the initial source for my first price match request was no good! I think professionalism is lacking in this experience. I will absolutely never purchase another thing from this store and will likely return the item I haven't opened yet in favor of waiting two days for amazon. It's just been sitting with me all day...which is rare to have any shop keeper make such a negative impression. I was kind and gracious -she was rude and dismissive. By the way - this was a Saturday morning so I am not dressed in business attire but rather with my hair in a bun (casual day). Very very terrible customer service. Disrespectfull and lies. We tried to return bona hardwood floor cleaner because of the streaks it left. The lady at customer service told us we couldnt return them without a receipt. We called corporate and they assured us we could. We returned to store met by store customer service manager and she still said she wouldnt take them without a receipt. When i told her i contacted corporate and they had to she called mall security and when i told her this is redicoulous and shes wasting my time, she followed me to my car and wrote down my plate like i was a criminal. VERY VERY BAD STORE. DO NOT SHOP HERE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!!! read more
