I had a "sew while wait" appointment with her (alterations done in a single appointment) and she was so comfortable to spend the day with, really clear with what she wanted to do, and super helpful with all of my questions and concerns. We actually finished hours before our estimated time (and under her estimated total!) Carissa is really so friendly and talented, and tries her best to make sure you're comfortable. She has snacks and drinks set up, as well as a really comfortable couch for taking naps on :) She'll do anything she can to help - during our initial consultation meeting, she altered my engagement dress on the fly (and only for $15!!) I really can't stress enough how highly I recommend working with The Gilded Thimble. She's more than worth the drive (we drove from Northern Virginia for our appointment) and you won't be disappointed.
