I'm a "new patient," but I've already had 8 adjustments. I previously worked for a chiropractor, and so has my wife (with different doctors). Many different doctors have adjusted me, and I've met different doctors at events. All this to say, I'm familiar with the process, know what's important, and can see through BS.
Throughout my time here, everyone has been kind, normal (as one can be ), and intentional. Some chiropractors and their staff are a bit odd. If you know, you know (and maybe I'm one of them).
The adjustments are not weak or too strong. I'm very picky, as I really liked my old chiropractor, but after having two kids and living essentially 45 min - 1 hour away from the office with traffic, it's hard to justify. I finally decided to find someone closer.
Some of my friends had been to several chiropractors in the community and just weren't happy with what they received. They really loved Thiesing and convinced me to try them out.
After my initial visits, I decided to do a 12-visit plan. They aren't salesy like some chiropractors can be. They do run a business like everyone else, so if you find them salesy, you may be the problem, not them.
Plans just make financial sense, and going often in the beginning is normal and a similar thing to other physical care. You still need to do your "homework" and use the Denneroll and whatever else you can to see lasting change. But chiropractic care isn't a fix-all.
Their pricing is very reasonable. I was paying less at my previous chiropractor, but that was because I had worked there. They spoiled me with free care for too long, so it was hard to leave. But even though I'm paying like a normal patient now, it's so nice to be literally in good hands and so close by.
I highly recommend giving them a try. I see Dr. Cullen, but I imagine the other doctors are just as amazing, and so is the rest of the staff (Tammy, Jaime, Megan, and Tricia).
