It supports local moms who consign their items for a 60-85% profit, and new moms who need a lot of gear!! Most items I selected were around 50-80% off retail prices and they were in great condition- no stains on any clothing! My tips- go as early in the event as you can. I went mid day on the second day and again on the half price Saturday and still found a lot of good stuff. However I did not find anything I wanted in the stroller or car seat departments- maybe those higher ticket items go earlier or are sold on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace instead? I also think the name brand clothes go earlier in the event. Next time I will go earlier and have a list of items and their retail $ so I can quickly decide if something is worth grabbing. Each consigner prices their own items so you'll notice some are overpriced (considering they are used items), while other consigners are clearly more interested in making sure all their items sell. Allow yourself plenty of time and bring a helper if you can. I spent probably 2+ hours and happily spent $130 on my first visit. They give you a giant ikea shopping bag when you enter and you will fill it up! It's the size of a Walmart filled with baby gear, all organized, sized, and ready for you to methodically sort through. Check to make sure things work as they should, too. I wanted an infant scale and it did not register weight properly. I was glad I double checked it! I recently also learned about Just Between Friends which is apparently a similar concept. Though I've heard they have terribly long lines. I didn't wait at all to check out at Weeusables and it was not chaotic or crazy at all. In fact I found the other moms to be very helpful when I had some questions about carriers - a very civilized and pleasant shopping experience! Seriously so happy about this - I feel so relieved having bought a ton of beautiful items already. I will be telling all my friends about it for sure. Have fun and enjoy your deals!!

As I was getting ready, my dress for the wedding broke 20 mins before we had to leave. We quickly googled any place(s) that were close by and Madelyn's Closet popped up. Consignment stores are always hidden treasures, so I took a gamble and ran (literally) to see what they had. I ran in there like a "whirl wind" as the wonderful lady working there called it. I told her my crisis and BOOM she popped 2 dresses for me to try on, no more than 15 minutes later and I was running back to my hotel room with not 1 but 2 options. She was sooo kind and helpful!! Prices are super reasonable. Def a place I would HIGHLY recommend. Thank you to the wonderful lady working that day, she was my savor! (sorry forgot her name as I was just trying to make this wedding on time, which we did with 4 minutes to spare)
