Called Junk-Bee-Gone to remove an old non-working washing machine from a relative's house. Their rates are very reasonable -- free removal of appliances if they are in a garage or driveway, and only $20 to haul it out from inside the house on the ground floor. I managed to get the washing machine out myself so this was a free pick-up! Hey, figure if I can't fix it myself, might as well give them a chance to have a go at it or recycle for scrap / parts. The men who came by were very cordial and professional. I'll definitely keep this business in mind for future junk removal needs. read more
