Drove past this place (which I've never noticed before) while going to the Seattle Premium Outlets, and was like, I definitely gotta stop by here! And we had a great time checking out the place. They had so much to browse through besides besides beef jerky. There were other snacks, including popcorn, fudge, pickled items, hot sauces, candy, and dog treats. We spent way more time (and money) in here than expected, asking the staff questions and trying samples. We were on a road trip on the 5 and as we were about to head to Walmart for a restroom break, we stumbled upon this shop. The bf loves everything jerky and hot sauce, so it was his heaven. We picked up jerky for the road (it was hard to choose because there are so many options) and a little treat for our doggie back home. The bf also picked a hot sauce recommended by the dude working that afternoon. He was very fun and helpful with all the questions we had. He and the bf tasted a "toothpick dip" of the bottle we just purchased. That dude was tough, while the bf instantly turned red and asked me for the water bottle. Lol. If you like jerky, then you'll like this place. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Free tasting samples are offered for several products: jerky, sausage sticks, popcorn, deep-fried okra, etc... Since jerky is on the spendy side, I really appreciate being able to sample before purchasing. Specialty jerky such as alligator and elk are also available for purchase, but not for sample. An assortment of candies, spices, marinades and sauces are also showcased. Some items in the barrels, such as the popcorn can be purchased in bulk. Purchasing the popcorn in bulk ends up being cheaper than purchasing the pre-packaged popcorn. A tip, really pay attention to the texture of the jerky being sampled and not just the flavor. We ended up purchasing two different flavors of jerky that ended up being radically different in texture. One bag was chewy (my preference) and the other bag was thin, tough and leather-like (dislike). The flavor was spot on though. Lesson learned. The Beef Jerky outlet has become somewhat of a destination for my friends and I. Located near the outlets this place is easy to get to and convenient if you're in the area. Currently due to covid they have pulled the chance to try some samples, but they have a mix of everything. They stock all sorts of beef, fish and poultry jerky along with a few more exotics ones. They have local (Washington) brands along with their own house brand which is a big portion of their products. There is also a section for sauces and different flavorings. At first bite the jerky is quite delicious, but quickly it becomes overwhelming. It's very flavorful, very salty, and strong. Can't eat more than a couple bites before I'm chugging bottles of water due to dehydration. They have several flavors, and I tried them all. The only ones I actually like are the spicy ones, and that's mainly because the heat masks the salt a little. I know jerky is supposed to be salty, but this is saltier than most. And we literally tried all of their jerky- even the lower sodium jerky!!! read more

I saw this place when I stopped at Wal Mart and decided to stop in. There were a lot of employees working but they were all super helpful and knowledgeable. One guy told me that this was a chain but mainly in the midwest and this is the 1st location out here. Pretty cool. I thought at 1st the prices were a little high but then I had some samples. They will let you try just about anything in here. The quality of this jerky is amazing. It is not thin and crappy. Fresh, good cuts and great flavor. The Maple Bacon and Prime cuts are amazing. A must purchase. They also have exotic cuts too like Alligator. I am not brave enough for that action. Cheese curds, popcorn's, sauces and candy. The carry all of that. Tons of sauces and rubs. They run specials if you check out their Facebook page and stop in. The more you buy, the more you save. The staff was super friendly and helpful; seems like they really enjoy their jobs. I been at this place when its first open has lots and lots of beef jerky options, Tabasco options and other specialty items so its beats oh boy Alberto as far as options and a decent rewards program. The store is a very nice and has a country theme. The staff is also very friendly and willing to answer any question you have. They also offer free samples for you to try. They have a wide variety of jerky ranging from cracked pepper to cherry maple to jalapeño to even some alcohol flavored jerky. All of their products are made in the USA. I would recommend this store for anyone who loves beef jerky, hot sauce, or is just a meat lover. The samples were so yummy... They were in the small bag. We bought a pound of cherry and sweet and hot. It was the "moist" type on the left wall... I was so looking forward to eating the jerky, unfortunately it was a disappointment. Buy the small bag they may sell more so they are fresher. Tried a few samples and bought a few to bring home. Super friendly employees kept up with a fair number of people in the store. The prices are higher than you would pay for generic grocery store jerky, but the quality is there to make it a fair price. Everything we tried was great. The bloody mary flavor is worth a try.
