After moving into a new building, the old haunt has been refitted into a bar and bottle shop. The decor is not unlike the rest of the bars in the UK, and food comes in the form of Pieminister pies with a BrewDog touch. I visited the place earlier as part of the shareholder AGM, and it was quite a place to enjoy. Like what I managed to enjoy that weekend, tours can be booked to go around the brewery and see where the magic happens. A great day out in the North-East of Scotland. Especially if you're a beer veteran, but even if you're a wee bit curious!

No place to sit, so I went to the other side and it was more of a restaurant layout (with a bar too). It was crowded too, but there was room for me, so I copped a squat at a table. I arrived too late for the food so I ended up just having a few beers. There were families there, a good mix of clients. TVs everywhere with football/soccer on. However, they do stop serving food at 2pm now monday to thursday which is a little inconvenient. The food itself is lovely and there is a wide range to cater for different needs. I emailed and set my reservation and received a copy of the menu. It was a Thursday evening when we arrived and pretty quiet. The staff were excellent and Tracy was very patient with us at the end when we were the only ones left in the establishment. The food was excellent, the ambiance was perfect. It was a great place to celebrate our anniversary and I recommend this restaurant to anyone on the area. It is "out in the sticks" but well worth the taxi drive to and from there.
