Yes, I can agree with previous comments about this location. At Village MD Clinic, I have texted them messages on the patient portal....A Prompt will follow with this message: "MESSAGE SENT. EXPECT A REPLY IN 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS." Shocking, plus to call and reach out to the doctor or assistant, depends on who answers the phone, they will transfer to an extension, you can leave a voice message and you might get lucky, someone will reach out to you a week later! Usually a typical doctor office experience, but I had left a voicemail yesterday and have been calling since 8 o'clock this morning no answer. A younger lady finally comes in the phone and tells me "I'm sorry you called during our busiest hour and had to wait on hold" I responded with I called yesterday as well with no call back. She begrudgingly made an appointment for me after I inquired for one and after she made it I said thank you and she disconnected the line. It's totally understandable that half your staff is at lunch, but so are many other people who can only make personal calls on lunch. Your frustration is valid, but no need to be rude when your job is literally helping people. If this is your typical day then you need a different job. Calls are sent to a call center and you have to wait 1-3 business day for a return call. Even chatting within the app leads no where. Dr. Iyer is an amazing Doctor, but trying to get paperwork, referrals, lab orders or even a call back is impossible. Ok broke down sick so I made a appointment. Insurance couldn't be verified for almost 30 minutes. As I cough sneeze and some what urinate, excuse me I'm sick .Called back to desk make co-payment , wait another 30 minutes then called back. Sat in back for another 20 minutes in room, doctor arrives and spends 20 minutes . Leave with prescription and doctors note. Overall the waiting room wait is to long and , my time in doctors office feel rushed. But for the last 20 years I been coming to same Doctor and they have moved 3 times. I called and talked to the Nurse for my Dr to ask for a prescription for a travel Nebulizer back in the middle of February. I had to keep calling to talk to the nurse to see if she talked to my doctor. Finally on March 12 I was told that my doctor had written the prescription on March 11 and where did I get the Nebulizer that I got over 5 years ago. So I told the nurse Apria Healthcare and I told her that she needed to call my insurance company. So a few days later I called to see how everything was going. The nurse tells me that Apria was no longer in business. So I told her that she needed to call my insurance company to see where to send the prescription. I told her that whoever she sent it to had to be on my insurance. So I called back on March 16 to see how things were going. The nurse says I faxed it to Vitality Medical. So on Tuesday March 17 I called my insurance they said that Vitality Medical was not on our insurance and that they were supposed to fax the prescription to CareCentrix. So I called the nurse back and told her to cancel the order to Vitality. I go pick up the prescription , I faxed it to my insurance company then called my insurance March 18 to see if they got my fax ( the prescription) they said yes. So I asked where it was coming from and my insurance said "Apria Healthcare " and it will be delivered by FedEx on March 25. I'm so glad I went to go get my prescription. The nurse had told me Apria was no longer in business. She was just lazy and not doing her job. I understand that there is a pandemic going on but that is not an excuse for being lazy and not doing her job properly. Our doctor is moving to UTMB May 5th. I'm pretty sure we will be following her over there. Especially since Beeler Manske's nurse can't do her job right. read more

Has to be the worst clinic in the state of Texas .... I never had so much trouble in finding out about my blood work entailed and trying to get hold of the nurse. Still, to this day I still haven't found out about my lab work. People who work there as far as the front desk.. waste of time. Better off going to webster or UTMB. read more

I've been going to Beeler for many many years. New building is really clean. Staff is courtious. However, sometimes it's hard to hear the nursing staff when they call your name. Some people don't hear so well. A speaker system would be very beneficial. Art read more

This place has gone down hill in the area of communication. I called to set up an appointment but the earliest available was further than i would have liked to wait. So i asked if there was anything sooner available. They tol me SPECIFICALLY, YOU CAN BE A WALK IN AT 5:15PM. Great so i took that appointment. I live in Seabrook but i have been using this Dr. since i was 13 so i dont mind the travel time. (Still a good Dr. Just poor office communication) well once i got there they proceeded to tell me that they had a procedure at that time so i wouldnt be able to be seen for 2 HOURS. I definitly expressed how unhappy i was about the issue being that i was told I WOULD BE SEEN, the woman in the office even told me that the other woman scheduled me for tomorrow. She definitely didn't otherwise i would not have left early this day. Basically calling me either incompetent or a liar. Still, i said i would wait the 2 hours. I even asked if i wait will i see the dr. for certain. To which she replied yes. So i walk away and inform the person that came with me that it would be a while. We both agreed it was fine. I walked back to the counter to ask if they need anything else from me and another woman had walked out and basically said he cant see me because he wouldnt be able to leave until 9. That would be 4 HOURS IF I DID STAY! They seemed to be trying to force me out of the office by continuing to add time to my wait and at the same time make it seem like my fault for hearing the time and date wrong on the phone. Im sure there will be nothing done to rectify the situation but i am going back tomorrow and if the same thing is done i will write more reviews on even more review sites. This was an unacceptable experience! They will hear what i have to say if i go through this again. They are clueless about customer service and dont seem to care because it was the end oftheir day and they didnt want to be bothered. They should not have scheduled my appointment for then if they could not stay true to the time set. On the phone she even double checked with what i think she said was a "shift leader" i could be wrong on that title. I do not appreciate being called a a liar or incompetent. STAT. The acronym never ment so much as it did Monday. I felt horrible abdominal pain and called Beeler Manske. Same day appointment at 9:15. Yay. Dr. Cajigas did a urine test, poked on my belly, asked a few questions and I was deemed a STAT patient. I got an injection for nausea and was sent to Mainland Medical with STAT orders for labwork and an ultrasound. Kidney stones that had to be surgically removed immediately. She contacted a urologist, and I was at his office by 1pm. Same day surgery Tuesday morning. Back at work today. I was the most important patient of the day. As I am on every visit. Go elsewhere. I made an appointment as a first time patient and arrived early as usual to fill out all of the necessary paperwork. My appointment was at 11:15 and it took almost an hour for me to get called back. The appointment felt very rushed and by the end the Dr. had prescribed me medication. When I went to pick it up at the pharmacy there was a problem with the prescribed dosage (it was too high), so I could not get it. I called the office trying to resolve this (all they had to do was write a new, lower dose prescription) and got hung up on while trying to be transferred over to a nurse. Granted this was probably an accident but they never called me back. It has now been 3 DAYS and I have not received my prescription. read more

This place is not for anyone over the age of 65 with multiple health problems. The Dr. who is treating my relative is ok but her staff is awful! I am in the medical field and they pretty much treated me like an idiot. The front desk staff couldn't recognize a stroke on the phone and proceeded to give my relative an appointment instead of telling her to go to the ER. read more

I always arrive at least 15 minutes before my appointment time. I have never waited in the lobby less than an hour. One thing I can't stand is scheduling an appointment at 11:15 and getting called back at 12:00. Once in the doctors office, it always feels rushed. It has been this way every time I have come here. I sent my 19 year old to the clinic just for shots for college, which is a nurse visit, please help me understand why both times she went for the vaccines they had her waiting in the Lobby for over an hour? Not acceptable. This was the second time my daughter had gone to the Dr. alone the first time was for her first set of shots there at the clinic and talk about a bad first impression! She called me and told me she was sitting there for over an hour. I quickly told her to get up and say something. The front desk lady told her that the ticket was never sent back to the nurse? I guess that means that the nurse was never told she had a patient? They quickly called her back and gave her the vaccines she needed. I called the clinic manager and obviously the managers and physicians have no clue how their front office is run! She claimed she had never had any complaints before... She needs to read Yelp! The doctors may be good who knows, but with the front office staff they currently have, how good the physicians are will make no difference the bad lazy staff will run that clinic business into the ground. Front office should be alert and take notice if someone has been waiting too long and if there was an emergency let the patient know and give them the option to reschedule! They say first impressions are everything. Our first time here and it was miserable! Even before we get in to the Dr. office! We arrive just before 8am and the elevators are inoperable. So I ask a nurse that arrived and she tells me "oh, they start at 8am". So we wait, and wait and wait. Suddenly it's 8:10. So another nurse walks in and she says "they will start in 5 minutes". So we wait and wait and wait again. The lobby has filled up by this time. Another nurse hurrys in an elevator and says "anyone going up?". Everyone runs to the elevator and packed full it goes up. WTF? How about we get ALL DAMN elevators working for everyone?!? Is it really that hard to do?? How hard is it to get all employees of this establishment all on the same page about elevators hours of operation instead of guessing and lying to the patients?? Some people are physically unable to climb stairs. This Dr. trip is for my uncle. He was not very happy and said "if this is the kind of knowledge and treatment of the things to come for this place, then I will be switching Doctors out of this place!" Personally if it had been ME I would have given this place a 1 finger salute and walked out for good! read more
