Every year it's a different colour,; this year it's a peachy shade. $12.95. Almost at the cash, waiting in line, and what do I see? Irish Cream with a Lindt treat attached to it... but the beverage is Red Velvet flavoured. THAT one came home with me instead!! Oh yeah!! Bring it on!! The staff was pleasant and helpful. Checkout wasn't too long in spite of the lineup and Christmas and COVID... And oh yeah, there seems to be more alcohol in the program with the pandemic!!

A brand new, ginormous LCBO right down the street from me?! AWESOME!…read more This location used to have one of the of the oldest, run down LCBOs in Ottawa, and it totally deserved this facelift. It's located right across the street from Carlingwood in the revamped Fairlawn Plaza. What makes this location so freakin' awesome? It's huge! It's size makes the selection great, and I have a bit of a sentimental attachment to it since it's were I first discovered pre-mixed Canadian Club and Ginger ale (SO convenient - right?!). Seriously though, the selection kicks butt, the staff are helpful and pleasant and it's brand new! What's not to love? Also, if you happen to be a drinking cyclist, they have a bunch of places for your bike (and they're used - a lot. I don't know how people have such awesome balance that they can bike home with a 2-4, but props to them). My only teeny tiny complaint it that they're only open till 9 p.m. most nights, but so are most locations that aren't downtown. Otherwise, thank you Ontario for this wonderful establishment!
