And as everyone in immigration process you tell me her every single detail in your life. She recommended that I don't dismiss my case ( my old lawyer advise for 3k) and she would represent me in court 9k +450 office supplies She directed me to try to get my work to sponsor me ( another 10k) And she got 500 to get my husband his FOIA since my Stepdaughter will turn 21 in less than 7 months ( she didn't tell me that since my step daughter is a US citizen and I have been with her father since she was 16 I was coincidered and a parent of a US citizen) Fast forward my Stepdaughter is 21 we apply for my husband green card and 2 months later he gets stage 4 cancer so his green card gets expedited and we get it faster since he didn't have insurance. We decide to get the help of an office that only helps you filling your application and we go to apply for my green card and my daughters. The young lady there ( not a lawyer not even a paralegal) looks at me and is very surprised and ask how come my Stepdaughter didn't apply for me with her father since I am coincidered a legal parent if I was married to her father before 18 and TX is a common law state so just living together for 6 months and presenting each other as husband and wife is coincidered legal marriage. When I confronted Misbah about that her response was IT'S HARD TO PROOF COMMON LAW MARRIAGE. I have thousands of pictures and document to proof are marriage but she with her 20 years of experience didn't tell me. I applied through my Stepdaughter and she dismissed my case took 9k vs 3k what my old lawyer wanted. I had to pay back 5k that my work paid for the labor perm which she never provided even 2 years after being hiered. My work permit was canceled and I can't work until my status get adjust and my husband might lose his insurance and lose treatment because he is advanced stage 4 and I can't pay his health insurance. So be very careful and ask a clerk before you ask her because apparently either they know more than a 20 years of experienced immigration lawyer OR she knew but that would generate less money for her so she didn't tell me. And I am a person who is proficient in English and I always try to do research. If I don't get my status adjustment asap my husband will lose his life and I will lose everything I build in 8 years ( house, car and career) because of her advice
