I decided to try acupuncture for the first time because of significant numbness in my left foot which was the result of a sciatica issue. I was worried the numbness would increase which could result in falling which could snowball into other issues. The only suggestion I received from the doctor who did the MRI was to take gabapentin to alleviate the numbness but I did not want to take a drug so I sought an alternative. The doctor who did my EMG told me he knew that acupuncture was often helpful. I chose Bejing acupuncture because of the proximity to my home. The rooms are very serene. Dr. Jane wanted to see all of my test results and spent significant time getting a clear picture of my problem. I am happy to share that after several treatments the numbness is primarily gone. It is a tremendous relief to know this is possible. A very big question is why would I want to take a drug for the rest of my life when a few acupuncture treatments could stop the need for that drug?? I, like many people, was skeptical thinking that tiny little needles could not possibly make a significant difference. I am elated that I was wrong! Dr. Liu is amazing!!! I wasn't a believer in acupuncture before but with unexplained infertility and a failed IVF transfer I thought I'd give a try. Well, I'm so glad I tried it! I started going every week and I saw an immediate increase of quantity AND quality with my embryos. I know it was all because of Dr. Liu's customized treatment. She listened to my journey every step of the way and tailored my treatment to meet my needs. At age 38, statistically I should've only gotten 1 PGS tested normal embryo but with acupuncture I actually got 4!!! And my first transfer with Dr. Liu's acupuncture stuck! I'm currently 12 weeks pregnant! I continued to see her till 12 weeks to make sure the baby stuck. Now I'll continue to visit her as needed for anything else! For example, I had a migraine for 4 days in a row. Meds didn't help. I had one treatment from her and the tension in my head and jaw is completely gone. She is really a great doctor. She listened to me and was truly concerned about my and the babies health. She was also very gentle and precise when placing the needles. I barely felt a thing. I couldn't recommend her more!!! My family and I have seen Dr. Liu numerous times over the years for a variety of issues, ranging from menstrual cramps to anxiety. My mother suffered from hives that were not relieved by any western medicine. However, her symptoms vastly improved after seeing Dr. Liu; she felt better as soon as after the first visit! We are forver grateful to Dr. Liu for all that she has done for us! The clinic is located in a spacious building in Lansdale, and the staff is very professional. Dr. Liu herself is kind and empathetic, taking the time to really understand what brings her patients in to see her. The acupuncture process itself is painless and relaxing. Dr. Ruijuan (Jane) Liu is absolutely wonderful. My first time there, she took time to talk with me and to understand the details of why I was coming to her. Then each visit after that she took the time to listen and asked me for updates. It is evident in her demeanor that Jane cares about her patients. I feel that my treatment at Beijing Acupuncture has helped me greatly in many ways. The office is very clean and comfortable and I never had any problems scheduling appointments - even when I needed evenings and/or weekends. I'm done with my visits for now, but I plan to be back in the future as needed. Dr. Jane is absolutely amazing. I started seeing her for infertility about three years ago. At that point, I had been dealing with infertility and infertility treatments for over 4 years. I now have a two year old and a newborn. Throughout all of my visits to Dr. Jane, I felt like she really cared and was extremely professional. She listened to me, my symptoms (from IVF meds) and even helped to keep me comfortable throughout my pregnancy. First of all I apologize for making comments for what a friend says to me privately. I was not trying to make the dr. Get upset. It was for her to explain/hand out materials about acupuncture to patients. This is specially for first time patients (like me)I think it was a language barrier and I was never questioning her skills. I have had the one treatment so I really can't judge since I still have the headaches and nausea presently and more treatments probably are needed. She did call me this morning and left a long message which I appreciate. I am sorry that my post seemed negative. It was not to be that way. Sometimes we type not necessarily the correct words to reflect what we mean but comes across wrong. I have not made any decisions on future sessions. I need to think about it. I started seeing Dr. Liu after finishing up chemo and radiation for breast cancer. I was aching everywhere and also very fatigued, but after a few appointments I felt significant improvement. After a few more appointments, I felt great! At the encouragement of my oncologist, I have continued to see Dr. Liu every month in order to help with side effects of the long term medication that I am on, and also to keep my immune system up and my body balanced. Originally, I was hesitant to try acupuncture, but I am so glad I did. Not only did it help with the pain, it has also improved my overall health. I have been seeing Dr. Liu for a year and a half and in that time, I have not had a single cold or flu. She has also helped with my allergies. Dr. Liu is very professional and knowledgeable. She takes the time to listen to your symptoms and also to explain what she is doing. Dr. Liu is AMAZING! I recently quit smoking and a co worker told me about getting acupuncture to help with the quitting process. Dr. Liu definitely made me feel comfortable and made me so relaxed! Extremely negative and unprofessional!!! She does not deserve to practice in the USA...she is so many things BAD relative to all acupuncturists I have ever encountered. This woman had me drive 35 minutes to her facility and then denied me service even before an evaluation bc she claimed my case was too difficult and there was NO hope for me to conceive, which only makes her lack of expertise scream unsuccessful! I was treated for infertility at a clinic in NJ and conceived in the first round of IVF at 41 yrs old and have a healthy baby girl. This doctor (I wouldn't consider her a doctor at all) claimed mt case was too difficult, did not smile once, offered no prognosis and turned me away even though I spoke with her on the phone before coming to her office. I asked about her protocol and she said I had no right to question her credentials....huh? I have every right to ask what protocol would be used to treat my issue by she left me empty, sad and quite frankly I think she should shut her doors and not boast her ability to help others. Her lack of professionalism alone is absolutely frightening. She never once smiled or properly introduced herself. She flat out told me that she didn't "click" with me, which is crazy bc I'm a really easy going woman. She seems to lack education on herbal meds as she only offers pre-packaged pills and no true Chinese herbal liquid medicine, she plays loud rock music in the waiting area which is so NOT zen for a natural and holistic environment. The office smells horrible of cigarette smoke, which she quickly dismissed as someone else's fault in an office where she pointed and no one was in there. If I could give a more negative rating, I would do so!!! PS: she accepts United healthcare and claims she can treat infertility but I know she is incapable and incompetent, to say the very least!!! Dr. Liu is great! I've seen her for cupping to get rid of bronchitis/allergy chest congestion. After being very sick for several weeks, many antibiotic treatments/nebulizer/steroids would not knock it out of me. I scheduled and very easily got an appointment for her to try cupping. Literally while the 'cups' were on my back, I felt it open me up and it was like an unclogged pipe! I went home and was better in 2 days! Have also had acupuncture for allergies and migraines and have seen positive results from that as well. 100% recommend seeing her and trying both/either instead of constant treatment with pills. read more

I have used Dr. Jane numerous times for both tendinitis in my elbow and fingers. I was able to avoid more intensive therapies such as cortisone shots through acupuncture. I have known Dr. Ruijuan (Jane) Liu as a patient send early 2010 when I was diagnosed with a brain tumor on my pituitary gland. After months of treatment I was not getting much better and the side effects to the medication were horrible. I decided to request from my primary care physician some alternative medicine treatment and he agreed that it might be helpful. I thought the advice of a good friend of mine who immigrated to this country from China and he recommended I try acupuncture. I was reluctant but I was desperate and so after doing a little research I met Dr. Liu and I explained my situation and after a thorough evaluation we begin treatments. It did not take very many weeks for me to notice improvement but the real improvement was in my overall medical condition and my blood work. Even my medical physician was amazed - I felt better in my blood work improved and it assisted in my treatment overall. After my medical condition cleared and I was released from treatment I still wanted to stay under acupuncture care and I literally have missed very few weeks since I began with her in 2010. She is caring and compassionate and she knows exactly what my week is been like after the initial evaluation every week; sometimes she even amazes me with how much detail she can pull from these evaluations! I do not normally review but I felt that this one was warranted and I have no hesitation and placing my name below my comments and I highly recommend Dr. Ruijuan Liu and I look forward to many more years of being under her careful care .
