Pain that would make it hurt to brush my hair in the morning and my teeth at night. Pain that left me desperately seeking help. I saw orthopedists and nurses. Rheumatologists and PTs. I have been in PT for years now, but have continued to experience ongoing discomfort. Google is usually a no-no for me when it comes to researching health issues, but in this instance I'm happy that I did it since it led me to considering acupuncture. I visited Laura's practice for the first time a month or so ago and already notice the difference. During my first visit, Laura asked me a ton of questions. I feel like most doctors focus on the one thing that brings you in, but Laura really took a holistic approach in trying to understand my general health. It's been refreshing to work with someone who seems to genuinely care about my well-being and who is invested in helping me -- even with random things that I otherwise would have not thought to mention at an acupuncture appointment. Outside of my hip and pectoral pain, I also experience chronic lethargy, joint stiffness and nasal congestion. Every time I come to my appointment she always check my progesterone, my anxiety and my estrogen level to determine what my body need around the time where my cycle at  of each appointment. She is so devoted on makesuring that I concieve our miracle baby naturally and not to give. She also prescribed tea for your estrogen after you are done with your cycle when your eggs start growing and in other tra in pill form form progesterone after you ovulate to help support your progesterone if it's low. After a couple of months with her my husband and I decided to go with IVF per our doctor recommendation and guess what on our first transfer cycle  mind you it was on her day off . Lei is so generous that she came on her day off so she can do my acupuncture for me twice.
