Heyyyy DARN! I was so excited after reading the reviews but my massage guy was no good. I feel that that's always a danger - there's going to be one or two masseuses who are not that good at any place. I got the young punk kid in skater shoes who was working the front desk. He was no good. And the foot bath he brought me was tepid, and cold after 10 minutes. 10 out of 10. Freaking better than any place I ever went to in Asia. This place is not for beginners, but if you are, get ready for these people to rock your body. Wear sweat pants, a light tshirt, or gym shorts for maximum comfort. Get the 30 minute foot + 30 minute back for 35 bucks and it's the equivalent of going to barton creek omni spa 5 times. I went to this place to do a foot and head massage after reading good reviews. Well, I did not enjoy it at all. The guy who did it was very rough as he was trying to finish quickly; I had a feeling he was just throwing my feet sometimes. My hair hurt while he was doing a head massage. I asked him a couple of times to do in a more relaxed and light manner but I think he just didn't use to it. Yes, the massage is cheap but you get what you pay for. She beat the crap out of me and it was awesome! As the other reviews say, this is not a fancy spa at all. You point to one of the options and get it done. Walk to the back, clothes off, massage starts. There were points when I wanted to cry in pain and when I was pushed to the limit and about to tell her to stop but I sucked it up and didn't. I thought I would be bruised and the massage would leave me more sore. However, when I got home, I have never felt more loose and relaxed than after this massage. I would go here every other month or so to get everything loosened and probably take an ibuprofen beforehand next time I go. However, they will work out every kink you have. I think mine hurt a bit more bc of all of my knots. You get what you get here, nothing else. But worth the money for sure. Please tip well!! read more

40 Dolla make you holla! Seriously cheap and the massage is amazing. Deep tissue FTW! BTW, I told the lady(she musta been 50+) to "hurt me" and she did. There were a couple of times I almost cried like a little girl (I'm 6'1" & 220 lbs)-it was awesome-I've never been to any massage place where I had to say ok you can ease up on the pressure, just kidding about the hurt me part :) . No scented candles, private rooms or conversations-their English is limited, but they are polite-I'm going back for sure. This is an inexpensive, Asian massage place. It's no-frills, basic, and decidedly UN-fancy. Forget the spa music, essential oils, and chakra balancing. However, you get to pay a very modest amount of money to get your muscles worked over by some shockingly strong Chinese women. You will feel a little beaten up, you will have someone climb on top of you to get those back kinks out, but you WILL leave feeling like jelly. read more

We are from the DFW area and we love foot spas. We had some down time in the Austin area so we decided to hit up a few places. This was our first stop, we went in quickly and got stared. It is a very small place an for it was full/busy. But I suppose that's normal for a Friday night. I got the young Asian American guy and he had a weird style, Lots of fast movements, felt good but weird at the same time kinda stressed me out. He reminded of an inexperienced lover trying to win a prize...which made me giggle and kept me from fully relaxing. Also the guy next to my daughter getting a massage sounded like a walrus making sex noises. Very creepy! read more

My husband and I still laugh at my recollection of this place. I had decided to do something nice for myself and see a movie and get a massage here. Oh man, it was so awkward. The guy straddled me and was roughing me up, then he literally punched my feet. I still can't believe I stayed but I kept thinking, I guess this is what it's supposed to be. It was like the guy was taking out his anger on me. Then he told me to take my shirt off which I thought was weird because I thought it was mostly a foot massage place. I carefully took my top off, while laying face down, then he straddled me again. He didn't grope me or do anything sexual but I have never had a massage "therapist" sit on me before. Needless to say, "relaxed" and happy was the last thing I felt. I guess I shouldn't laugh but it's become such an ongoing joke with my husband and me. read more

My mom and I just went here this afternoon. It was wonderful. It was her first experience at a foot spa massage place and she loved it. I have been to several in the Dallas area but had yet to find one in Austin. This place is excellent. The pressure was very deep and everyone was very friendly. my husband & I have never had a couples massage I called all over yesterday & everything was booked. I was prepared to pay $75 a person for our massage. I stumbled across this place and gave 1 last call. They said come on in. Reading the reviews as my husband drove there started to scare me. From the minute we walked in we were taken back together. They were curtious & polite. I got extremely relaxed & was completely shocked over the amazing service we got. Then upon checking out after our 60 min massage the bill was only $70!!!! Tina is the best! I love this place, it's cheap and I can always get in no matter what time I show up! I saw a lot of bad reviews on here but I believe it's because these people are unaware that these massages are based on a cultural. In China they do massage is very different than they would do in the United States one must know that these people have been around a lot longer than the rest of us with regards to their counrty, they apply acupuncture, holistic medicines, and unique massage to their culture these people have been around a long time apparently they know what they're doing! read more

I was surprise of the price it is very reasonable and the experience is quite different but the massage was very effective all my muscles feel so relax. I like the young man who massage me he is strong and I like the firm massage bec.I know all my muscles are sore and stiff. Very relaxing, at some points she used to much pressure and it was painful and she asked if it was okay on her own (I suck at speaking up) and I told her it was too hard so she stopped. $40 for an hour of intense deep tissue back massage is life transforming! This is no ordinary massage - and the masseuses do not speak English. I go on a biweekly basis just to feel normal again from the daily rigors of stress that can accumulate on my shoulders. The knots I have are like hard eggs - and the masseuse (Annie is incredibly amazing) just attacks my twists like nobody's business! I always tip in cash and almost for the amount of the massage - it's that good. It's funny - sometimes I hear men groan next to me (the walls are cloth screens) but I don't care. My friends and I just received the 60 minute foot and back Massage. As we were driving home we compared how horribly hard of a massage we just received. Most of the time during a massage I don't want it to end but during this massage I kept hoping the torture would stop. We all feel a little bit looser but it hurt like hell. Awful. I ended up with a headache. The masseur was pounding my back, pinching my arms with so much pressure that I have black and blue marks. He rubbed my back as if he were washing clothes on a wash board...the closest simile I can come up with. No sense of pressure, direction or rubbing or anything resembling knowing how to touch a human being. He pressed my upper back into the bed till my throat was compressed on the head supporter and I was coughing and choking. I'd tell him he was too hard, but he didn't understand English. He kept on rubbing so fast and in the same spot which would have worked for trying to rub a stain away from a hard surface, but is a painful on a person's back. Worst massage ever. I should have immediately left. You get what you pay for. read more

My boyfriend and I went looking for a couples pedicure and came across this place by accident... SO much better! We both felt it was the best massage experience we had have ever had. ( I used to be a massage therapist myself, so of course I can be pretty critical of technique ) We had massages a while ago at one of the local schools and were both very disappointed. Beijing Foot Massage is wonderful! One warning though: If you are a lightweight and do not like deep massage, this might not be for you. Personally, I will go back again and again. This used to be my go-to for value massages, but I found a massage school just south of here on Burnet that is still reasonably priced but SO much better. My big complaint with Beijing is how inconsistent they are. Sometimes you get great masseuses and luck out with the private room, but other times you get the guy who had just come back from his smoke break and didn't wash his hands before starting on you. It's a crapshoot, but you can't beat the price. Be aware that they do expect tips in cash. read more

Very nice little place. It is a hidden gem as the storefront isn't so obvious. Inside, you will not find anyone that speaks good English. However, they are very good at massages with an easy to read massage menu. Both times I visited I did not have appointment and I just walked in and got worked on. The prices are very good! read more

Amazing. If you've never tried a "foot spa" instead of your typical American spa- you are doing yourself dirty! For $35 an hour your entire body gets an amaaazing massage without paying for the extra stuff that I consider just a plus: essential oils, hot stones & spa decor- you get what you pay for, just the basics. Biased because I'm a fan of these kinds of places...but Beijing Foot Massage delivers and can be trusted for quality, no frills body work. Last minute walk up, they got me in right away and the masseur changed my world in an hour. From bad mood to good mood for $30 plus a $10 tip because they did such a great job. What a relief, compared with trying to schedule weeks out and being stressed getting to an appointment across town. Really detailed, deep, careful work by the masseur. read more

I am an athlete and was looking for a place that would provide a good DEEP tissue massage for my legs and feet. I was pleased to find exactly that and was able to get a back head and neck massage along with it for the ridiculous price of only $35! The staff is very professional and well trained in authentic Asian massage techniques. With the affordable prices, I can afford to leave a good tip and still feel like this is a luxury I can afford to do monthly.
