I now go exclusively to Happy Foot Spa because each massage is consistently a good thorough massage, no matter who in Happy Foot gives me the massage. The ladies here may not all speak the best English, but they have always been very kind to me, inquire of the massage pressure and give a great Legitimate massage. Angel is the Owner, and she treats all her clients well. Even during this COVID-19 pandemic, now that they are finally open again. They provide a deep massage or whatever type (deep, relaxing, hot stone) massage you want. And they sanitize and are very concerned for your health and welfare during this pandemic. Came here on a whim with a friend, we have been to the other massage place in the same shopping center but we thought we would give this place a try. It's definitely worth the price you are paying with got the Delux/Deluxe and it was worth it. We didn't have a wait we were able to walk in and get an appointment. They have separate individual rooms for the more expensive massages. We were in a room where there area bout 5 spots. The massage we got does every part of your body. It was definitely relaxing and worth the money. It's a little rough but I enjoyed it because it was definitely working out the knots that I had. The man who was at the front desk also took care of my massage and he was really good. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a good massage. I was so dehydrated upon walking into this establishment and the fear of drinking some cheap brand bottled water went out of the window when I saw their filtered system. My friend and I requested a couple massage which was $60 for 60 mins each and the lady at the front threw in a free 10 min foot rub for the both of us which literally made me purr. The massage was absolutely incredible. That was my first time receiving a professional massage and we were both blown away. They massaged every inch of your body that they're allowed (front and back) and asked about the pressure. We will definitely be returning to this at least once a month and extending to 90 mins every time because 10 mins is only a teaser for that foot rub. What an excellent experience! Popped into Happy Food Spa to de-stress after a LONGGG week. Had been looking into some reflexology locations for some time now and sounded like a winner. Having never had a reflexology massage, I really didn't know what to expect. I was greeted at the door by a nice guy who told me to take a seat and they would be ready in about 10 minutes (I did not schedule an appointment and was a walk-in). About 5 minutes later, he came out and took me to the open massage room with about 10 tables. I sat on the bench (more of a knee level bench vs. your typical hip level) placed my feet in the warm foot soak at the end of the bench and laid down face up. The girl then proceeded with a face/scalp/neck massage, followed by an arm massage, then my foot massage and finally a brief leg massage (all while I was fully clothed- no need to strip down here). Wonderful! The whole experience was amazing- left me feeling like I was floating out of the building and for 45 minutes of bliss-- ONLY $25+tip!! Would I recommend to a friend- absolutely! I came in during the morning (for the $10 off special). They were very pushy, continually asking which massage I wanted while I looked over the menu. Once I decided, a kind man showed me to a large room with 5 beds, only 1 was open. I expected some privacy since you're supposed to get undressed, there weren't even curtains separating me from the people next to me. I'm in a wheelchair and they made me feel very awkward about not being able to straighten my legs. I told my masseuse I'd be tipping in cash and as I was leaving to grab my wallet she started asking for a tip, which I thought was unprofessional. Where do I even begin... I've been to this place a few times before and came back expecting the same no nonsense foot massage but boy was I wrong! This was one of the worst experiences ever. To start- we called and booked an appointment for three with female staff, we reach there and the guy says we only have two females and one male- strike one. After a lot of conversations they end up saying we will give you three females. Two of us get set up 10 minutes later than the appointment time. My girlfriend is further delayed by 15 minutes- strike 2. The massage begins and 20 mins into the massage my girlfriend's massage is at the same point as us!! Her masseuse accelerated and caught up to us- strike 3! To make matters worse she kept answering her phone and pausing between the massage- strike 4. You want to relax while being massaged and this was quite the contrary. She storms out after this... She's asked to pay $20 for this nonsense!! When we finish I look at the clock and they finish at the appointment time eating up the 10 mins delay... totally ridiculous- strike 5! I am new to Austin and we had so many options for massages in Southern California but I didn't know what to expect in Texas. Happy Foot Spa was the first place I gave a shot and I am so happy I did. I didn't make an appointment but I popped in on a Monday morning and I think I was the only customer at the time aside from another woman leaving when I arrived. I had the massage in the room where they normally do multiple people at once and you keep your clothes on. This was all super normal to me and honestly because of the time of day (I assume) it was very quiet and relaxing. Unlike many places where you are sitting around with 20 other people and talking workers, here you can get a room for 1-3 people from what I saw. My friend I each got the 60 minute foot, head, back, arm and hand massage for $35. We had our own room and two great masseuses. We both were almost in tears when it was over and we had to get up. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I walked in and asked for a 1-hour massage, the man who first greeted me did not understand English so he called for another man. The other man also did not have very strong English so he kept asking what I wanted even though I made it very clear which option I wanted. This second man pointed at the most expensive option on the board and asked if I wanted that option, I said no and pointed at the option I wanted. He sighed and had a look of disappointment. He told the other man in Chinese "I'm not doing it" (they didn't realize that I understand Chinese) and pointed towards the room. I walked into the room with no guidance from anyone; no one followed me and it's a room with multiple beds so I stood awkwardly as they talked to each other in the other room. At this point, I sat at the closest bed and the man brings in a bucket of room-temperature water (I've been to many reflexology places and this is typically a warmer/hotter water to soak your feet in). I laid down and the second man said to the first man in Chinese "you started at 8:10" and I could see the clock read 8:20 and he had not started the massage yet. Already extremely uncomfortable with everything that has transpired, I tried my best to relax and the first man started the head massage. Literally 10 seconds into the massage (not even exaggerating, the man touched my head 1 or 2 times), the first man re-entered the room and tapped me on the shoulder. I opened my eyes and he asked "do you have cash?" and I told him I'm paying with credit card. He alarming replied "no cash?" and I repeated that I did not have cash and I could pay with card (keep in mind this place supposedly accepts credit card). He then said "sorry, we can't" and proceeded to take the towel off of me and sat me up. The first man asked the second man "what's going on?" in Chinese and he responds "he says he doesn't have money" (he says "money", not "cash") and asked me to leave. I removed my feet from the cold water and ask for a towel and neither of them provide a towel for me to dry off my feet. They then proceeded to kick me out. So when I told them we were all doing the 45 mins (being Moms and pressed for time), they made a disappointed gesture.
