I used Bela floral to do the flowers for my wedding and was quite disappointed with the product I received. My order was not complicated at all and the flowers came sprayed with sparkles and not nearly as bright in color as I would have thought. This was a huge disappointment. I received such great customer service until that point through our consultation and conversations. Not great. read more

I called last minute on Saturday to order a Father's Day basket to be delivered in town. The woman I spoke to was so sweet and accommodating. After being turned away by several other floral shops in town I called Bela Floral literally one minute before their delivery time was over and she still took my order and delivered my plant herself on her way home after work. So nice of her!!! Being in California I send flowers to my parents for most occasions, and was kicking myself for calling last minute this time but totally lucked out when I called Bela Floral. When I called from Fl. to ask for a "special",( not normal funeral flower arrangement), from this florist, "Bela Floral" in Luddington, Mi. I spoke to Rick. He told me they were doing the flowers for the family of our friend. And that he knew the deceased and would be able to fill my request for this "special", arrangement I wanted made. I was thrilled when Rick told me he could handle it. I told Rick I was willing to spend $150.00 on this "special"arrangement. He said ok that would cover it. I did not specify any special type of flowers and left that up to him. There was also two other items I ask be put on the order, and to be placed in with the flowers. Again, Rick said no problem. I gave him my email and phone number and ask him to please send me a picture of the arrangement because it would be very special to the family and friends of our deceased friend. I left this up to Rick, at -Bela Florist. I waited to have this email arrive or phone call. Nothing!! We contacted our friends who was able to attend the viewing and service. I ask if our special order was there.And they said, Oh--- yes there were flowers. Just flowers, nothing special.I still do not even know what the flowers even looked like!! I am very upset that this "Rick" guy did not have the courtesy to even contact me, and say, that he had not been able to get that order set up as we had discussed. That was the least he could of done. He just "lied " to me and acted like he would be able to fill the order. After all we are over 1,500 miles or so away. What could we do?? And, our deceased friend, surely couldn't complain!!! And, no doubt our arrangement ended up being this "little basket of flowers", lost among all the rest. I am so disappointed !!! No one has yet to contacted me. I would surely not trust or put my confidence in this florist!! I feel very mislead!!!! Doubly sad in Florida!!!!! read more

Very disappointed! Did not get what I asked for or paid for. I went into the store, spent like 45 minutes looking through their books and what they had available. I wanted a flower arrangement for my brother in laws funeral/burial. My brother in law was a Vietnam Vet who died from brain cancer, a result of agent orange. I picked out an arrangement of red, white and blue from their book. I explained the importance of why I needed RED WHITE and BLUE, they would be going to the grave side service where he was getting full military honors and burial. The lady even went into detail of the delphinium flowers that are blue that she would be using, she even went as far to say that they are an expensive flower. I was sad to see the arrangement at the funeral were only red and white, NOT ONE SINGLE BLUE FLOWER!! It was too late to do anything at that time, however I went in today to place a complaint. The lady said she was sorry, she is training 2 new girls and it was just her and she started crying. I found that very distasteful, we have spent the last week crying, I couldn't deal with anymore. She should have simply returned some of the money I spent for those "expensive" BLUE flowers I didn't get. read more

I have just read a couple of the reviews of Bela Floral and feel compelled to refute the negative reviews. I had been a "part time" customer of Bela Floral before it changed hands....meaning I was a customer of the other floral shops also, and the floral shops were "equal". However, when Donna Knudsen bought the shop (September 2017), I have become a VERY SATISFIED full time customer. Bela Floral is the BEST floral shop in town. A couple of the negative reviews were BEFORE Donna owned Bela Floral. I only see one negative review from when Donna took over and even from the customer viewpoint, Donna apologized for the mistake. I think the customer, in the grief of death (and understandably so) was very emotional. I have ordered several arrangements from Bela Floral for my mother and other people, and have always gotten exactly what I ordered. The arrangements are beautiful! I have even (in my unorganization) ordered "last minute" and Donna has come through for me and "saved the day/occasion"! I also stop by often and buy cash and carry flowers, as I do some of my own arrangements. Bela Floral always has a good selection of fresh flowers. I also purchase cash and carry flowers as bouquets for friends, and Donna whips up a beautiful spray with a pretty bow that will make anyone smile. THANKS DONNA AND BELA FLORAL! :) read more

To start, quite costly. That should have deterred me in the first place. Regardless, I ordered my wife flowers for Valentine's Day. She received them and sent me a photo of the card. Not only was what I wrote for the message wrong, but something was added. I figured I would politely call and make sure that they knew this was happening. I didn't ask for a handout or refund or anything, and the owner (I'm assuming) Rick, was rude right off the bat. He told me he, "May have ad-libbed a bit". He added an entire line of stuff that I didn't write. On my personal card. I didn't pay for his ad-lib I payed for my personal message, written by me, to be put on the card. He very impolitely told me he didn't know what I wanted him to do, and suggested I let him know the next time I ordered from them that I wanted what I wrote in the Message section To actually be on the card, not his "ad-lib". I will not be ordering from them again, and I suggest you don't either. read more
