Let this be your next warning: the reviews are true. This lady is completely incompetent. I don't…read moreeven want to call her a doctor. My complaints were ignored and brushed off, a routine Pap smear done and out the door. Do not come here unless that routine Pap smear is all you need. I don't like to write bad reviews like this but this is to warn others what you get by coming here.

I'm really not sure how any reviews are above one star; the review from Apple S. and Kristen S…read more specifically explain pretty much what I experienced with my first visit to this the Celebration location of TWC with Dr. Priya Patel. To begin, I will give some background on myself; I have diagnosed generalized anxiety and also have had breast cancer in the past, which are reasons I haven't seen a doctor for awhile because I have a lot of anxiety around doctor offices. I also have previously had Pap tests done in the past which have been somewhat painful if the doctor is not careful while inserting the device used for the exam. Now for my experience; I basically was asked to give a urine test as mentioned by Michelle Z. in her review without any kind of explanation for why they wanted one, then I was called into the office where I spoke with the nurse and answered a bunch of questions, the nurse actually seemed nice and was helping me feel a bit more at ease in my already anxious state of mind. Finally, Dr. Patel comes in, pretty much asks me the same questions the nurse just asked me and as I was answering them, was basically interrupting me and rushing me through the answers. Right before the exam began, I asked her if she could please try to be careful while inserting the device because I have experienced pain in the past from that, and her response was something along the lines of, "Oh ok, now I am your employee I guess, I'll just be your employee". It was a very snide and rude remark and not really sure where that came from nor why she thinks it is ok to talk to her patients that way. Of course at that point, my anxiety became heightened. Once the exam was over, I was trying to ask her questions because I experience very painful periods and this was mentioned before the exam as well right around the time she was asking me questions which the nurse had already asked; she basically was just rushing me, didn't seem like she wanted to talk to me at all, and was trying to head out of the door. Overall, I would not recommend this doctor specifically; she didn't really answer any of my questions and came across as very rude and crass. It basically felt like she was talking down to me the entire time. Oh and one last thing; the Pap test apparently takes 2-3 weeks for results! I've had a regular pap done at my primary before and received the results within minutes, so I'm really not sure why it takes so long for this place to do that.

From the very beginning to the very end, I was treated with so much love, compassion, and genuine attention. The entire experience felt like God placed this team together just for me. From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by kindness. Every single person I encountered played a role in making me feel safe, seen, and cared for. From the cafeteria staff, to room service, to transportation every interaction mattered. I want to start by thanking Stella from housekeeping, Lilly the puppy , Tashi from the cafeteria, and Carlee from transportation you all made such a difference in my experience. It wasn't just medical care; it was the small, thoughtful moments that truly meant everything. To my nurses Natasha, Yvette, Nicolas, Keila, Jency, Mamta, Cady, and Mideline thank you for your patience, your attentiveness, and your constant check-ins. I will list names, although I may not remember every exact role, but I absolutely remember how each of you made me feel. I especially want to give a heartfelt and EXTRA special thank you to my two daytime nurses the beautiful Black nurse and the lovely, spirited Spanish nurse. You both went above and beyond for me. You constantly checked on me, made sure I was comfortable, and showed genuine concern for my well-being. There was one moment that truly stood out to me my Spanish nurse noticed that my pain medication orders only covered mild pain, and I didn't have anything for moderate pain. I was in pain and honestly couldn't advocate for myself at that moment, but she did it for me. She personally called the doctor to request proper nausea and pain medication to make sure I was taken care of. That level of attention, advocacy, and care meant everything to me. To Angela Krebs, PA-C, thank you so much. When I felt nervous and unsure about what I was experiencing, you didn't dismiss me you listened. You reassured me, but still took the time to check and rule things out just to give me peace of mind. That level of care and respect truly touched my heart. And to add the icing on the cake you all even provided me with a loaner walker to help me regain my balance. That level of thoughtfulness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I also want to give a special thank you to the anesthesia team. I was definitely a little extra sleepy afterward , but that just shows I was in good hands. My pain level during the procedure was at a complete zero it wasn't until afterward that I required any medication. I truly appreciate the quality of care and attention to my comfort. Now, the biggest and most heartfelt thank you goes to Dr. Stephen McCarus, and his wife, Dr. Tamberly McCarus! Dr. McCarus is truly one of a kind. Not only did he perform my surgery with excellence, but he took the time to truly care for me as a person. Before my procedure, he prayed with me and that meant everything because I was so scared. That moment alone brought me so much peace. He listened to every single concern I had, especially regarding my keloid skin and scarring, and made sure to minimize my scars as much as possible. I truly felt heard, respected, and cared for. What touched me even more was that he came back later that night around 10 PM just to personally check on me. He made sure I was comfortable, advocated for my care, suggested ice, repositioning, and pain management; everything. That level of dedication is rare and meant more to me than words can explain. I was facing something major something that could have been terrifying but the way I was cared for made me feel so peaceful and safe that I didn't even fully realize the magnitude of what I went through until afterward. This was more than just healthcare. This was compassion, love, and purpose in action. I thank God for each and every one of you. I will never forget this experience. 10/10. Forever grateful.

In all of the staff that I encountered were very kind and very courteous. I'm sure my wife as a patient has a different perspective. The building that this facility is located at is absolutely huge. The place is very luxurious, absolutely gorgeous. You think you're in a five-star hotel, not the doctors and medical Pavilion.
