In town for work and had some free time over the weekend so booked a single seat for "the Indians are coming". The four comedians were great. Definitely a nice night out. Met two really nice ladies who were there for a girls night out. We were a little concerned sitting in the front t row. But we were spared the comedians focus. The show was great. I highly recommend!!!. While the focus was Indian culture, it transcended to others in terms of generation gender etc. Well done !! As for the venue, they have so much variety. I am looking forward to other shows at this venue. Clean and well serviced with a bar and snacks. Very professional. Easy to book. Looking forward to coming back in 2023. I'm a big fan of the Belgrade Theatre! I've been coming here since I can remember, the first time was for a school pantomime at aged 8 I would guess! Wow, well over 2 decades ago now... I went to watch a pantomime here recently of Beauty and the Beast... no, I didn't have any kids with me... I took the WIFE! She didn't seem too impressed actually, especially at my shouts of "he's behind you! BEHIND YOU!" I think she was rather embarrassed actually... At last I know for next time that it's a kids thing, but I'm a big kid so that's ok... The place has changed a lot since I was a kid, it's a lot more modern now, well everything except for the theatre seats, which are still pretty ancient (not sure why?) But other than that, everything is very modern and nice looking. They even have a multi storey car park which is ideal (again, except that the spaces are really small and not designed for a car like mine) so that makes parking easier too. There are now also some great restaurants that you can visit straight after your show such as Belle Italia, Pizza Express, Cafe Rouge, Cosmo, all nice restaurants and within 2 minute walking distance! We've also been to see some other screen plays, none of which I can recall the names of now but they were ok, I go more for the wife... it makes her happy and as they say 'Happy Wife, Happy Life' :) read more

Belgrade Theatre is centered right in the city center. It has recently had a large multi storey car park built right next to it so there is never any problems with parking now. The food and drink is of high quality, with there being a nice restuarant in the complex. You can book a table for this restaurant online. Overall ive been a couple of tiimes with friends and family and i would recommend that you go onto the website and see if there is a performance that takes you pick, and go watch it. Definitely an improvement on the old Belgrade where I'd been going since I was a child. The whole area has been revamped. There is more parking available nearby as well as more restaurants. The bar is reasonably priced and the interior is a pleasant environment. Tickets are easy to book on the website, but the only qualm I would have is that for family tickets, you have to call the box office and cannot book these online. Unsure why? This however, is based on recent experiences and may be different for different shows. An easily accessible enjoyable place to spend the evening. read more

Excellent theater first time here plenty of leg room seats at front cheaper than other areas not understand why as stage is not to high as to make it difficult to see drinks 4.10 for a San Miguel so not cheap . Multi story carpark 3 min walk away try to park on lower floors to avoid ques to get out at end of the show costs £3.50 for 3-4 hours nice theater clean an impressed with first trip here . I wnet to the belgrade many times as a kid for panto's. Great laugh great atmosphere and a really good place to be. howevver as everyone knows it got a bit dated so is the process of a refurb. Cant wait to go and see it when its finished. The last thing i saw here was a Queen tribute band, the bloke that won stars in their eyes. Although a few years ago it was spectacular. Since then the new development will have a larger car park as the old one was quite small but adequate. A great place for the family to enjoy great live panto's and other great acts. Definatley worth going to know adn when the refurb has been completed. read more

Since the refurb the place is looking fantastic! Have always enjoyed going to pantos, musicals and plays at the Belgrade and would heed everyone to make sure they go there this year! 12 june witness for the prosecution very good version seats were good row k in the stalls 15 rows from the front aisle seat as the belgrade have had a major refurb it is much better swisher with lots of eateries and there isnt a sense of crumbliing oldiness like there was before it could be the saving of cov if people will just support it cmon Cov. read more

Love this theatre! It's warm and comfortable and the staff there are lovely, I saw one of my favourite musicals there and it was phenomenal!

really good location for this place, perfectly centre close to all the shops, feels like a little gem close to the new area of coventry near ikea. put on some good shows, big productions - i went to see a one man show, which was interesting.... think students get free tickets to some shows if they have them left which is a plus. read more
