By the time we had waited for hot drinks our "hot food" was cold! Poor staff that were on duty, were run off their feet! running out of milk then clean crockery! we waited yet again to pay at check out then no clean cutlery had to wait for the kitchen to wash some! We were advised that x 4 coaches had arrived causing the place to be busy! & quite full. May I suggest that they get the staff to cover these occasions or turn away coaches! or you will have no regular customers left.

As well as garden related products it has an aquatic section for both tropical and cold water fish and also assorted gifts throughout the store. Downstairs there are clothes both for everday wear and also outdoors e.g Barbour jackets and walking boots. There is a small specialist foodie section with upmarket sauces, pastas, herbs, spices, bottled beers, ciders, spirits and liqueurs. Also a kichenwares department, books, toys, greetings cards and gift wrap etc. The restaurant seemed to be doing a reasonable trade when I visited and the cream cakes in the display cabinet looked wonderful, though I resisted the temptation on this occasion :-) At Christmas it becomes a winter wonderland with a huge range of decorations, lights etc. and Father Christmas comes to visit for the kids. Smashing garden centre basically, though like many it is errs on the expensive side, hence my rating of 4 stars instead of 5.

Arriving home to Brighouse I found a large grey tag. I phoned the store and they said bring them back we will take it off. Annoyed at this I went back today 15 February. Items were bought 9 February. They took off the tag., I said what about compensation for coming back , fuel etc. They informed no can d. I said what about a voucher for a tea and a small bun? The manager said no. It's cost me time and money to come back when it was their fault. I've spent thousands in the past with you. The company has got too big and forgets about the loyal customers.

This will be my third review for a garden centre, not bad for a person who hates gardens, gardening, gardeners and Graham Gardner. To be fair though we only went to buy some niger seed with which to feed the garden birdies, and as usual we came away with several things, none of which had anything to do with gardening. They really do have a wide selection of stuff, especially in the shop that they also own across the road. This place sells jams, toys, clothes, pens, popping candy, kitchen things and things with your name on. I say your name especially if you are called Leo,not Lee,Leo. They had quite a lot of Leo related stock.I have reached the age of 40 with only knowing one Leo on a personal level and that was over 20 years ago.If you are reading this Leo,I know where you can get a pen with your name on it! You are going to have to look at the photos to see the best thing they had there though. I like Gordon Riggs.....
