Not a lot to hate about this place, so I have to like it. Visiting family and needed to a breather from them. Nothing relaxes quite a good cigar. This is a no frills spot. A couple of rooms; some tv's; some leather chairs and couches; sodas and vending machine styled snacks. It's the essentials. Can't ask for much more. Plus all the folks are so dang friendly. Awesome people

What a great, local, and laid back cigar shop in town right on the Hoover/Pelham line. I've been to several shops around the Bham area and this one is now probably my favorite. The atmosphere is extremely laid back and the staff is very friendly. They have a smaller selection, but it is actually better than most. The staff will even cut yours free of charge so you can smoke it if you don't have a cutter. The lounge area in the back is awesome! They have all leather couches and recliners along with several big screen TVs to watch sporting events. It is pretty spacious and private too. I will definitely come back here when I want to lounge and smoke my occasional cigar. read more

Great new spot for cigar lovers here in Birmingham. These guys really know their stuff when it comes to cigars! They sell a lot of the major brands and have cigars in almost every price range. They also have a cigar lounge with leather chairs and big screen tvs. This provides a great way to hang out with good people and enjoy a good cigar at the same time! read more

I stopped in looking for an elusive brand of cigar and though they didn't have it they knew who did. The owner not only told me who had it but called the competitor in order to make sure it was in the humidor. To me this is great business and totally customer oriented. As far as the humidor at this location it's huge and normally well stocked with cigars to fit any budget. The seating and ventilation are great if you choose to enjoy the company of the patrons. read more

This place is great for anyone wanting to relax and kickback with a few good guys. The selection is good and if there is something you want but don't see ask and they'll get it for you. The knowledge of the smoke is here. read more

In town for the SEC baseball tournament and had some tome to kill. Found this place. This is a really nice place! The lounge was awesome, the owner and the regulars there were really nice! Look forward to spending some more time here while in B'ham. read more

Laid back friendly staff and regulars. Bob is as cool as a fan. My favorite spot. I probably spend too much time here. You won't be disappointed. I love the underdog feel and don't mind spending my money here. Sticks are very fair priced. Again my favorite new place to burn one. Keep doing what you are doing. A great place to be! read more

I've been a regular up at this shop for a good 6 months now. The guys who own the shop are beyond friendly, knowledgable and helpful! All the customers who visit are of good demeanor. I go to do personal work business in the back quiet room, and I go during football games, fights etc and kick back, relax and have great conversation. I've been to other shops around the area and this one by far is the best of all worlds and I thoroughly enjoy every minute I spend at Belicoso's!! read more

Belicoso Cigars was founded by a group of local, cigar-loving industry veterans who strive to bring you the best selection and shopping experience possible. Although, this is a new store, the owners and employees have a combined 100 years of cigar industry experience. The store has a large, fully-stocked humidor and with a wide variety of cigar-related accesories. We also have two comfortable lounges with multiple large screen televisions with satellite tv service. In addition, we also play Cuban dominoes every Thursday night; backgammon and chess games spontaneously break out daily.
