I've been in…read morehere more times than I can count mostly to pick up one or two items a pair of socks, a belt etc so I find earning the ever so popular Kohl's Cash is a little bit like mining Bitcoins and for me they are just as rare. I guess I'm just not a department store type of guy, I find I have more productive shopping experiences online. Anyway I guess they do have a niche business and it's closer for me to go here and get in and out fast verses going to a mall. So I'm sure my infrequent trips will continue the employees have always been friendly here and the store is pretty organized and of course everything is on sale.

I have never seen such a selfless employee that would do that for a total stranger and truly go out of her way and trusting that I would come back the next day to purchase the items. First, the ladies at the Service Desk were genuinely so nice and helpful to help me with my Registry questions. The carts are so much better than the other big name store I'm not going to name. When checking out, the cashier seemed a little confused on my discounts but was eager to help and I also had a gentleman offer to help me out to the car with my items which was so helpful since I got a car seat and I am pregnant. Very appreciative of that gentleman! The other part of my review would be for the Starbucks! The customer service was excellent. I asked for a recommendation for an iced latte and told the girls what I was craving and they made me the yummiest latte! My daughter also enjoyed the egg bites as usual. Thanks girls!

If I lived in the area, I'd definitely stop in occasionally to see what they have. But one line for both Marshalls and Homegoods kinda sucks if you just want to grab something and head out. They need an express lane.

It's been forever since I've shopped in a brick and mortar department store with all the online options available but I needed to pick up a few items and was happy to see some great sale prices on clothing that wasn't only on sale racks, some with up to 65% off their original prices. It seemed most of the sale associates were eager to help anyone walking through their department, so it was definitely a unique personal shopping experience. It seems like these jobs are commissioned sales positions or maybe it's just to break the boredom of being employed here nonetheless I enjoyed my time here. The store was immaculate and there was plenty of inventory as you'd expect. I picked up (3) pairs of jeans, a pair of slacks and (4) four shirts all name brand for just under $500. I love online shopping but it was nice to actually touch and feel the merchandise. This experience probably won't change my preference when it comes to shopping but it's good to see this options is still available...

I was told I simply needed to meet the store managers and all would be good. I should have been more cautious as I came here and spent 2,000 in weekly hotels and ( now ) a roundtrip airfare back to Texas before they even had the decency to call me telling me the job went to someone else. After talking to Dwey, the store manager, I was given nothing but attitude and mockery for being upset. Since her texts were a bit more cautious than her phone conversations he mocked me and said anyone would pay that much to travel for a chance at an interview...are you kidding me?!?! Heartless and inconsiderate the both of them. Who does that to someone? Apparently Keti and Dewey at Dillard's Daytona Beach....no wonder that place and mall are dead with that kind of culture. I just went and ordered my eyeglasses from that store and was very pleased that they had a great selection of very nice glasses. Not only that but my insurance covered s lot of the cost. The sweet lady asked if she could help by the time I had the second pair of glasses tried on. Very helpful from start to finish. And they will keep me informed on when to expect them. I'm impressed!

Well, it's one of the "better" super center Walmarts…read more I'm not trying to lump all Walmarts in with this one, as that's not the point of reviewing an individual Walmart. As with I assume all Walmarts the layout becomes more and more confusing everyday. This is 100% intentional, and likely forced at a top down level, as in, an individual Walmart likely has to follow strict floor planning. As well as the typical fluorescent lighting designed to make people want to get out quick and not dottle around. I.e the opposite of Target. Again, this specific Walmart is just going by that is required from Corporate. The one saving grace that can make a place like this not heck on earth to work at is having good managers. Which while I have never worked here, everyone who works at this specific Walmart (this is the same with almost every Walmart) looks like they would rather be anywhere else. It's as if Walmart took apart of who they once were as a person. And again this Walmart is no different, While I (used) to not feel like I'd ever get robbed going here, the feeling has gone up slightly but that's just in general lol. Despite the 100s of new Apartments and storage units popping up, both Daytona/Port Orange have been going drastically downhill in the last decade. And yes this is valid with my Walmart review, and the overall safety of being at this Walmart at night has changed with it.
