Would recomend 11/10 for the friendly staff and for the quality of service here. Plus they remember my dogs name every time we come in !!

He is the only vet there and so you get his full and personal attention (he did take a brief vacation last year when he had a young lady take his place - and she was wonderful too!). Indeed you could imagine a British TV show about this man and his business. Oh wait a minute - that was done already back in the day (1978-1990): "All Creatures Great and Small" The surgery itself comprises a waiting area and his office/surgery. We LOVE the personal service that he gives, so does our beloved little guy "Ricky Martin" our 6 year old Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix born (and dumped roadside) in Houston, TX - thank goodness we found each other!! The occurrence that comes to mind is about 6 months ago when little Ricky (on an extended leash while walking with me) was attacked with no warning by a ferocious German Shepherd (Alsatian) which the owner was allowing to run free (forbidden in the UK) - yes I later found the address of the thoughtless owner, reported him to the police and now he has to keep the dangerous dog on a leash with a muzzle or he will go to prison. However, Ricky was bleeding and we got him immediately to the Doc who calmed him, shaved the area of the bite, studied and informed us that had the bite been 1/4 inch deeper or 1/4 inch to the left the carotid artery would have been severed and he would have bled out on the spot. He explained everything to us, advised why he was NOT going to use stitches, gave us painkillers for the little guy and antibiotics. Follow up a week later and all has been well since he pretty much fully recovered a month or so later. Poor little Ricky will not walk with me through those areas where he was attacked - his memory remains, as does ours of this wonderful, caring vet Two big thumbs up and one little paw up! I…read morethink mainly that has to do with the fact that I'm uninsured and pay through the nose for treatment. As with all vets the drug prices are extortionate. At least double the price of what can be had by buying from an online pharmacy. But they have you by the short and curlies. You must have a prescription, to get a prescription you must see a vet and pay for their consultation. Once you have had the consultation you must then pay for the prescription. The prescription only covers one drug, so if like me you need two you must pay for two prescriptions. I still save nearly £1,000 per year by doing it this way, so you can see just how extortionate vet drug prices are in order to still save that amount of money.

They have quite a few vets at their surgery so you can easily get an appointment. Unfortunately, the downside is that since so much money was invested into the surgery they have raised their prices considerably. There is no question that their care is second to none but you really are paying a high price now. Also the individual vets are obviously set targets to meet as they are constantly trying to talk you into taking out insurance for your animal. You can however open an account with Riversmeet so that if you have to have an emergency visit and forget to pick up your purse or anything you do get 28 days to pay.

Took a day off to make sure my cat got sorted. The lady on the desk make it sound like the fault is on me that I came to the wrong branch, which is unacceptable and quite rude since the email I got is a proof of that. The only good thing is she managed to request appointment in the other branch which is in the other side of the city and is quite hassle to get there because of the distance and there is an repair on the other place so the parking will be a nightmare. Please own it if you made a mistake, that's the point of the customer service. Don't make it sound like your patient made a mistake and make us feel bad about it. My cat is already stressed, me and my fiancé also struggle about it, but please please don't make us feel even more worse with trying to put the blame on us. I really appreciate that you manage to get the appointment sorted in different place on the same day. Thank you for that. This review is for the service from the front desk customer service and the system, not for the vets since this is my first time there. Upon arrival, there was no introduction from the vet, and did not see to want to meet my nervous german shephard. The vet seemed very annoyed that he was meeting a new patient, and after I asked him why he felt so upset, he became verbally aggressive towards myself, pregnant fiancee, and dog. After he started to verbally attack us about the nature of our dog (whom is very anxious around new people as he is a rescue dog), we decided to leave. I would not recommend this man to anyone! He is a very rude, arragant and a vile man. I do not know how he has sustained his business so far.
