They mistakenly sent me a cable box. I sent it right back but they kept saying they nvr received it. They billed me 100sof dollars every month, id have to call n get it put back in my account. Wish we had stayed with Bell Express Vu - so much better but pricing was getting absurd. We are long-time Bell and MTS customers. Fibe - picture quality good, only reason it gets 1 star - so disappointed in the rest - not nearly as good as Bell Express Vu for the guide, the remotes and so much more! Bell needs to get their act together or will lose market share as more TV services become available - we have been told Freedom may be coming soon. 1. No place to actually call someone at Bell if you have issues - the stores openly tell you they are 'sales only' - what kind of customer service is that?!?! 2. 2 remotes won't work in same room - good grief - they worked better 20 years ago! 3. Guide is smaller (with very few options that make sense) and the channels have no 'reasoning' to their order-Bell Express Vu had things sorted ie Sports together, Stingray Music together etc., this one is all over the place - almost impossible to find things - what a downgrade. 4. Recording shows is also a challenge - trying to find anything. I am wishing we had stayed with Bell Express Vu and lessened the channels. Our services with bell has been a disaster. Over 15 years of rebooting routers, and rebooting tv box's. Our account last month was negative 35 bucks. Less then a couple weeks later a bill comes for 1000 bucks. 70 percent of there customer service works out of the philipians, don't bother with this traitor company of canada. Do NOT switch to Fibe, do not get Fibe, do not consider Fibe. Note the number of 1 star ratings (because you can't vote zero). These are customers who know and are warning you. The drives on their boxes wipe out everything you've PVRed. This has happened twice. Their "customer service" seems to *trained* to tell customers that they are always in the wrong and Bell does nothing wrong. They tell me I'm *not* subscribed to the stations I'm subscribed to and have been paying for for years. A company can't be this bad unless it has a culture dictated from above that makes it so. It promises and charges you for services it cannot provide. If you want the ability to record programs to watch later you *must* get a different cable provider. I was enticed by the door to door sales persons offer of Bell Fibe 1.5g and switched from Rogers 75mb service. The installation didn't go well. The tech messed up my garage door while he was running cables, requiring me to call a garage door repair person that Bell said they would reimburse me for ($200). 2 months later and I still have not received any reimbursement. They have no trouble sending me the bills for the internet service however. The internet performance is underwhelming as well. Lots of lag, and doesn't feel any faster than my old service, even though it came with a new modem and I upgraded my 24 port switch to take full advantage of the supposed enhanced performance. By far the absolute worst product/reliability and the worst customer service! I have to constantly do the virtual repair tool. I only had the service for a month and had to get a new modem. Pixeling, freezing screen, sound goes off frequently. I could go on and on. Unfortunately I'm in a condo and this is our bulk service. if you have a choice, DO NOT GO WITH BELL! Bell offers an Exclusive Partner Program with by Workplace. Signed up for Internet and TV service. The window I was given was December 2nd from 12PM-5PM for installation. At 3:30PM, I called because my 'MyBell' account said that an Agent was going to reach out within 24 hours and that they had already been at my Residence. The Agent I spoke to told me to keep waiting. At 5:30PM, I called back, has they still had not arrived. They told me they would not be able to complete the installation today, and the Technician did not leave any notes. They also did not ever contact me, so I wasted my whole day waiting for someone who was not coming. Needless to say, I called and asked them to cancel the installation. I can not give Business to a Company that does not respect my time. Gave my business to Rogers, along with porting my phone, and it turns out Rogers gives better value than Bell, even with the Partner discount. If the Service for new Business is that bad with no communication, I would not want to see what Bell's service is like when you need them to fix something. read more

I was fed up with Rogers Ignite and switched to Bell Fibe when they installed Fibre Optic cable to my house. I never thought I would want to have Rogers back, but Bell is terrible. The voice activated remote is a poor example of a copy of Rogers. There is a Google Assistant button that has only worked for me once and that was when a technician came back to address my first complaints. I am on my 3rd remote control and I haven't had the service for a full year yet. The only way I get top seed on internet is to connect using Ethernet cable to the modem. The WiFi speed is a joke. I'm stuck with this crap for another year and then I'm going back to that other monopoly. Bell Fibe sucks. read more

Annsolute crap. Three new 4k receivers and 2 new Giga Hub modems later, still no t.v service. Constant error code 101 or error code 201. Support is oblivious and keeps telling me to just reboot the modem. Have rebooted the old modem a dozen times and the new one even more....still no joy. Over 2 months ago I ordered Bell Fibe services for TV, Internet and Home phone. They showed up to install the system and The technician informed me he could not do an installation because he only had ladders and they were too short to reach the connection box on the pole. They also realized they needed underground access to my house. They tried to convince me to have them lay a temporary line across my grass. I refused, I knew at some point I would forget about the line and cut the cable. An since the line would cross my neighbours as well if I didn't cut it they might. A few days later a subcontractor to bell showed up and wanted to do the inground installation, but they had not done utility locates. They looked into it and said the locates would be done the next Thursday - Which they were. It took me a while to get a new installation date of June 30th (Yes, Sunday of the long weekend). No one showed up, but on the next Tuesday the company doing the locates showed up and did more locates. I have been cutting around these flags for 2 months and now I have more flags. Next, I was given a date of July 12 for installation. They showed up and the technician informed me he could not reach the connection box with his ladders and that he needed the buried cable to do the install. He then tried to convinced me to have a temporary wire strung across my grass (Sound familiar?). While the technician was on his phone calling his department, I called Bell and got transferred to a Case Manager. The Technician came back to our door and said that his work order said it would take 4 to 6 weeks to install the cable. This is exactly what we were told 2 months ago and still no cable. They had me on hold trying to contact the installation group to find out what was going on. But we were disconnected and after an hour I gave up waiting for a call back (The Case Manager had my number but I did not have their number). I called again and was again referred to a Case Manager who would contact me within 24 to 48 hours. I am now waiting for the call. But can understand if it takes that long to make a phone call then I understand why it takes so long to get connected. I am leaving Rogers because of poor service, but am afraid I made a mistake. Bell appear5s to have a lot of trouble with internal communications. This is surprising since I though they were a communications company. Well I am sure they would be quicker to send the collections company out if you missed a payment, than they do to service potential customers. read more

Best internet ever! After spending some months staying in Cabbagetown, I moved back to Queen West and before I could pull off a move, I needed decent internet for wfh. Ever since fibre came out a couple years ago Bell has been my go-to. Fibre is that good! Matching up and down speeds and low latency with rock-solid performance and no throttling. No down-time! Plans are good, free TV for a year, nice! First they gave me a week lead time, bummer, but called back with a next day booking, winner! Dude showed up and was so nice! He did a sanitary job on the installation and I appreciated the extra length on the cable in case I need to move the router, and btw what an awesome router! I got the one that just came out, the latest and greatest! I told him one of the reasons I like Bell is the quality Wi-Fi delivered. Nice tips from the tech, including that you can upgrade your speed right from your phone app if needed. Not only that but he gave me a warm welcome back to the neighbourhood. He's a local living nearby and also gave me tips about how the best looking women were in the area, the best dive bar to go to, and where to get the best barbecue wings near Trinity Bellwood's. How much do I dislike Bell Canada - heres another one. The entire TV system shuts down if your remote batteries die. So instead of just replacing the batteries, you need to unplug everything and re-start all the equipment, not just the modem. Plug-ins take up 2 of my electrical outlets. So after using the Virtual Repair twice (taking 1/2 hour) I still can't access On Demand. read more

This company phones on a regular basis.. constituting harrasement. A former bill was resolved with a senior level agent..all deductions and payments finished. A quote was given to me and i paid it. And still i reveive calls from this company harrasing me about unpaid. Their level of professionalism and courteous service is non existent and I will never be a Bell Customer again. I just installed the Bell Fibe in my home in Blenheim, Ontario, two weeks ago and for the third time the equipment has failed for the first receiver and the second TV receiver which I just tried to activate as a tempory stop gap while we wait for a replacement for the and other unit to come by snail mail has also failed.So again we have no TV. Very fast.. When it works. Horribly unstable Have had it for about 18 months, was fine at first but now the internet drops out for a few seconds every few minutes. Downloads interrupted, browser freezing. Monthly calls for service, nothing helps. Modem has been replaced at least 4 times, Bell TV box and and remote replaced multiple times as well. But how would you do outside work without checking the cable is working in the house? 2nd, Time, i call and the lady tells me, they dispatched a technician and he will be here in 30min. Guess what? 1hr later no one shows up. So i call again for the 3rd time. 2nd, after being caught up in the lie, it was again, technician will come in 30min and confirmation no: 4166222215 was given which is basically a number that's not in service. after 4:00pm i had to cancel since i couldn't subject myself to more blatant lies. We just switched eight days ago on the promise of a better price and better service. We have had absolutely nothing but trouble. If we get one TV working, then the other one does not work. In the process of trying to fix it, the Internet dies. I get the Internet working again and get one TV working then go to The other TV, get it going and the first tv drops again. It's been an endless cycle of stuff not working and phone calls to technical support and refusals by bell to send a technician in person to fix it. I can only go as low as one star, hooked up with Bell fibe Dec 1 2022 and have had nothing but problems.can not get one tv working right. Phone line was not working the first two weeks, when you phone the tech line you get someone reading from a computer screen. They want you to be a service person and do everything. When you do get someone to come in it's less then a %50 chance they know what they are doing. Had them in 7 times twice waited 3 hours for them to show only to come in for less then ten minutes agree that there's a problem but don't know how to fix it and leave. Over two months of poor quality service on the phone to many times to count wait for service to come and all I get is a 75 dollar credit that will be processed at a later date. Bell lures you in with promotions, with a 2 year contract promotion. Mid-way into the term, they'll increase the charges. When you call customer service, the CSR can barely be understood because it's an oversees call center, likely India judging by the accent. All they do is read off a script constantly patronizing you with apologies but absolutely zero results. Even the customer loyalty dept. customer service agent barely peaks English clearly. The call center communication line quality is absolutely terrible. You cannot speak to them while they are talking because there is a 2 second communication transmission delay. Considering Bell advertises itself as a company that prides itself on customer service, why would they outsource c/s oversees to a call center that does not speak English clearly ? Bell may have a fast internet Fiber network, but once you need to contact Bell customer service, you'll regret the day you decided to change service providers ! I will be anxiously awaiting for 1 year to pass, and will gladly pay the $75 penalty fee to cancel bell services. To note: in areas where the Bell Fibe network is new, the technicians are constantly disconnecting the connections on the panel. No idea why they keep disconnecting customers Fiber connections but they do, and it is very annoying because when you call 310-bell you're on the phone for min. 30+ minutes going thru their instructions only to be told there's nothing wrong with the modem. Hi, we have fiber op with bell for about 1 month now. Is it normal to have to reboot the bell fibe system almost every day and sometimes twice a day to try and stop PVR freeze? PVR freezes. We reboot the modem, then reboot the main receiver then the alternate receivers, and it is ok for about 45 minutes to an hour, then the freeze of the PVR happens again. sometimes we try to stop watching the freezing recorded episodes and try to switch to live tv but then a message reads PVR is busy and to wait. After waiting 30 minutes we rebooted the Modem main receiver and secondary receiver again. Works ok for about 30 - 45 minutes then freeze again. We have 2 secondary receivers and have disconnected one at a time in case one was a dud, but same freeze problem happens again with each one connected separately. We feel the problem is the main receiver not sending signals to the other two, Main receiver also freezes when watching recorded shows. We call Bell, and we know the answering service is reading the manual from their home and reading the procedures that we already performed many times. we can easily spend hours a day every day rebooting and listening to bells answering service reading the manuals instructions to us. So to watch something we end up turning on our blue ray DVD player and inserting a movie. WE only had this fiber op for a month and are not at all happy with it. Bell has spoiled many planned evenings with their incapable unreliable PVR system and the help is not there anymore. Bell use to be so good, it is like Scrooge took over their company and easily take our money and not supply efficient help service. They pay someone overseas I think about 50 cents an hour or something to read a manual to our phone calls and most times we cannot understand the strong accented assistants, yet we are sympathetic with them as we know they try their best. They will schedule a technician, the last time that happened we had to wait 10 days. WE are thinking of going back to a satellite dish until Bell can figure out this fiber op technology and make it reliable to its customers. Hopefully they improve their help and support, We have a request in to talk to a Bell supervisor or manager for over 3 weeks now, still no call. Because maybe they have no answers. Another reason I will never ever allow Bell on my property. Have their Fibe wires sticking a couple of feet above the ground at the end of the driveway. First told 3-6 months to bury them. Then I said they were a tripping hazard, that they would be cut by my snow blower guy. Had a repair ticket for today between 8-5 pm. Called this morning at 7 am to confirm they were coming cause they have left me waiting all day in the past and not shown up. Only to discover the ticket had been deactivated. The staff person reactivated it. Called at 11 am to make sure they were coming. Talked to two people (2nd when I was hung up on by the first person) and told there was no ticket and suggested they open another one. Bell Canada Fibe which was apparently installed in our neighborhood has not been working properly since late 2019. Prior to that time we had no problems with the TV service. We have placed several calls, and from speaking to their technicians, we are the ones running up and downstairs checking wires, connections and receivers, something wrong with that in the first place. Though the current problem usually gets rectified the underlying problem is still not fixed. The receivers have been replaced on more than one occasion. There is nothing worse than watching the golf masters and the tv continually cuts out in the last hour of play. I do not recommend this service to anybody and continue to be a dissatisfied Bell customer related to their TV service. I will be cancelling my TV service, as I am not paying for a service that is continually inferior. read more
