After coming here for two years I had to find another vet as the new owners decided to raise the prices on everything and even started requiring us to pay a tech led appointment for 15.00 each time you come in on top of the price for the service you need - unacceptable- we found another vet today !!!!!! Do not take your pet here if you want quality care and need anything besides the most basic and incredibly simple forms of care. We took our dog here roughly two years ago and he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and prescribed heart medicine. Despite his continuing worsening condition and our concerns, Dr. Carpenter and the staff failed to look further into his condition and explore other possibilities. Due to this we took him to a heart specialist, who after doing proper testing, indicated he is not in heart failure, and likely never was. After doing bloodwork, they identified that as a result of the heart medicine he was prescribed, he had suffered a devastating injury to his kidneys. He was then hospitalized in the ICU for two nights. Our dog Howard never fully recovered and is now facing serious decline due to his inflicted kidney injury, which will ultimately claim his life. The new veterinarian in verbatim writing indicated that Howard's condition was a direct result of the misdiagnosis and prescription of (costly) heart medicine. We reached out to this clinic for assistance financially as the mis-prescribed medicine and ICU care, along with a cardiologist consultation cost us thousands of dollars. After some brief communication, Bell County stopped responding and ignored our emails all together. I know there are not many vet options in the area, but aside from simple checkups, please consider taking your loved pet to somewhere with people who will at the bare minimum listen to you about something as important as your pet's life. I never leave reviews, but this one I must to share the terrible and damaging experience my pet and family are enduring as a result of the people at this clinic. DO NOT BOARD YOUR ANIMAL HERE!!! My husband and I boarded our dog Nova (11 months old) for the first time ever last weekend for our wedding since no one would be in town to watch after her until they got back. She stayed four nights, boarding her on a Thursday and was picked up Monday morning. On drop off, everything seemed fine. She went right with the staff member (she's a big people person) and didn't look back. I called them that Monday morning of pickup to pay our bill and to check in on her, and warned them that she would be picked up in the next hour by our family. They told me they thought she was fine when I asked how she did, which I understood was over a weekend when they were closed and it may not have been the person taking care of her. My mother and sister picked her up from the clinic and took her to the car when they realized her fur was matted with feces (my dog is very pad broken and they knew that at the clinic) and her nose was dry and hot. They pulled over at a McDonald's where she proceeded to act like she was dying of thirst, gulping down water as fast she could get it. My mother had to cut the feces out of her fur because she couldn't get it out, it had dried and stuck (she's a short hair dog anyways). Suffice to say I am VERY disappointed in how my girl was treated on a necessary trip. My dog had been abused as a puppy, and I was on edge about sending her away from us anyways. Knowing what she went through makes me absolutely disgusted at the people taking care of her and angry. Neglect of any kind to any animal is not okay, but you didn't even attempt to try and clean her up from the poop YOU left on her? I even gave you ample warning that they were coming to get her! That's cruel and wrong. I'd absolutely tell any one of this horrible experience that my dog suffered at this clinic and tell you to avoid boarding animals there at all cost. I never leave reviews, but this is one I couldn't get out fast enough. Hopefully my mistake in trusting these people with our fur baby doesn't become yours. read more

Awesome clinic! I attend the university nearby and could utilize the university vet services but i'd prefer here over them any day. I have taken my pup bruno once and they treat him so well which makes me so happy! They were informative on all answers to my questions and genuinely care about the pets well being. I've been one time and will be back again! The doctor and assistants were so sweet and made a comfortable environment. They even mailed me a signed note saying how much they value taking care of my pup. 100% recommend!! read more
