Best of all, I purchased the bougie stick for $24 and the manufacturer's website have them for $22 which isn't a ridiculous price difference and I didn't have to wait or pay for shipping. They also carry B**chstix which is a brand that supports survivors of domestic abuse and is a cruelty-free product. I bought one for the friend I was meeting for dinner. The store carries many other items such as some fashion jewelry, curated baby items (clothes, books, etc), hair ties, scented candles and so much more! I am definitely going to stop by here another time since it's on my way home from work and it seems like the perfect place to find some wonderful gifts. I wanted the ornament to be one of several Disney Christmas gifts for my 9-yr old grandson this year so I was happy to have found it but concerned it might be too big. When I walked through the front door, I could see two women behind the counter, heads close together discussing something. One of them appeared to be on the phone. There was no one else in the store. Neither of them looked up or said anything to me after I entered the store. I walked over to the ornament wall to view the ornament I had in mind. I had a small measuring tape in my purse and took it out to measure the ornament (it was about 5"x5"). I also took time to look at ALL the ornaments to see if there was something else there that might interest me. I pulled up a chair in front of the ornament wall and sat there looking at the boxed ornaments on the lower shelves for about 10 minutes. Still no greeting from the employees or offers of assistance. Then I walked over to a table by the store window, and sat down on a chair so I could do a search on my phone for older Hallmark Disney Anniversary ornaments. The two employees continued to ignore me until I finally asked one of them if they had any Disney anniversary ornaments that weren't quite so big. I told them why I was looking for it. I also asked if the store had any miniature Disney ornaments as my grandson has a tabletop Christmas tree he puts up in his room every year. I explained that the ornaments were part of a much larger gift and how important it was to me. She had no reaction to what I said. What she said was "what we have is on display". She showed me where some other Disney ornaments were that didn't fit what I was looking for at all, and then returned to the checkout counter. I finally decided to go ahead and get the 70th anniversary ornament even though it was bigger than what I was looking for. I took it to the counter to pay for it. One of the women jumped on the phone after she asked the other employee to check me out. The employee rang me out and while I was paying, a customer entered the store. She turned and sad, "Hello. If I can help you let me know". I said to her, "When I entered the store, neither of you said a thing. You didn't greet me. You didn't offer to help me. But just now even while ringing me out, you took the time to greet that customer and offer assistance. It would be nice in the future if you'd extend the same courtesy to me." And without apologizing or saying anything further, she handed me my bag and I left. Suffice it to say I will never, ever, EVER shop at Jan's Hallmark in Fenton again and I will encourage everyone I know to take their business elsewhere... as I will.

Although Cohesion has only been open since September 2018, it is a compelling addition to this shopping strip. Immediately upon entering the store, I was struck by how good everything smelled, as well as the chic yet relaxed style of decor. Heather, the owner, mentioned that the candles are available in store, and shared her plans to branch out into more home accents and decorating items, in addition to the women's clothing and accessories currently offered. As far as the clothing selections, the items are unique and run the gamut from more dress-up dresses to everyday wear and athleisure, with a smattering of-the-moment sweaters and scarves in the mix. On my visit there were a number of cute jackets, including a white parka with an adjustable drawcord collar, and a crushed-raspberry colored velvet blazer. I ended up with a not-so-basic LBD with a lace panel and exposed back zip, and a tie-front striped button down shirt that can be transitioned with the seasons. Inventory changes on a weekly basis, and there are only a few selections of each style available in every size--all the more reason to snap up that favorite piece right when you are eyeing it, because it might not be there the next time.

Some of the price is justified because they have warranty protection on some. You will leave with only a few items under $50 so make sure you do your wallet research. I love shopping local but I can also watch my spending. These place benefit from year round shopping so get your shears and garden items here. The staff is elderly and take good care of the plants all around the store, but they have to look up and refer back to things a lot so again do your research. The staff is so friendly and can help you but use a cart or come with the muscle. This location is often hard to get into with the entrance being right before a busy has station and business intersection. They have limited parking, but do have plenty of accessible parking for those in need. The restroom is just wide enough for a wheelchair too.

AND just like the Timberwinds team said... spray the tree twice and it will be cleared of the scale, and that is precisely what happened...
