One of my daughters chose her wedding dress here a few years ago and we had a really good experience. We have another daughter getting married and came here to look for her dress. I can't recall the name of our consultant, but she was great! I feel like she really paid attention to what my daughter did and did not like about each dress and used that information thoughtfully as she pulled other dresses. My daughter tried on a good number of dresses during her appointment! She can be pretty indecisive, but she thought about the pros and cons of each dress. They have dresses in a wide range of prices. They ask what your budget is and really work to find THE DRESS in your price range. I think in the end, she narrowed it down to three. Just visited the Mia Grace Bridal Encore shop today and got my wedding dress!! I was helped by Lindsay who is incredible! She honestly is one of the nicest people ever!! Lindsay was super supportive and patient as I was being indecisive then later trying to FaceTime multiple family members in from the East coast. I also really appreciated how Lindsay helped me pick gowns within my budget (my budget was $500 and she only showed me dresses in that range from the Encore shop! Also showed other dresses if I requested.) She also helped me decide on bridesmaid/groomsmen colors. I told her I was thinking about terracotta for my wedding next fall but was deciding between navy, beige, or gray for the groom side. She went and found suits from the flagship store to hang next to my dress so I could see what matched--now I think I'm going with navy!! Would highly highly recommend!!! I had a great experience at Mia Grace Bridal and also their Encore store. I was greeted by Stacey who was with me every step of the way. I didn't go with a big bridal group, partly because of my poor planning. But I also thought it would nice to surprise my bridesmaids with my dress later! I was able to shop for my wedding dress and Stacey had such a good idea to help me out and my indecisiveness. Juicy brides -- look no further! As a size 16/18, I thought I had scoped out all of my options for wedding dresses. I tried David's Bridal (a cluster and not great quality), BHLDN (expensive, not flattering), and a few local salons that had ONE dress in my size to try on and tried desperately to sell me on it (I'm looking at you, Maiden Voyage). I had just resigned myself to keeping a BHLDN dress I liked -- not loved -- when I told myself to try just one more place. When I walked into Mia Grace and met with my salesperson, Diane, she was immediately ready to help and listened to all of my annoying body hangups, preferences, and Pinterest dreams. Much to my surprise, there wasn't just one or two things to try on in my size but nearly 20 (!!) in my size AND in my style. That meant I could dismiss stuff that wasn't my taste without worrying that I'd be left empty-handed. A miracle! Then Diane helped me get into a few gowns until I found one that was unequivocally "the one." She snatched my waist with some industrial strength garment clips and I finally got that Say Yes to the Dress feeling -- something I never thought I'd experience. I didn't end up purchasing my dress with them but it was only because I ended up buying a dress from another boutique. Their staff is simply amazing. We had a 4 month lead time. She took the time to only show me dresses she could order to get there in time or samples that might be in my size. Even the selection with that limit and me being a plus size bride was huge. (Btw big selection of plus size) I found one that I liked but I went a to another place and they just happened to have what I needed. Now the bridesmaids needed dresses and I thought let's go. Mia Grace was the second salon I went to and the care and attention to detail at Mia Grace opposed to another salon I went to was incomparable. I went in with a variety of ideas in mind and my stylist Diane knocked it out of the park with every suggestion she made. I felt like I didn't give her a lot to go on and she knew exactly what I wanted. I believe initial bridal appointments run about 1.5 hours and I left after 2.5 hours. Went with my daughter recently to start her search for a wedding dress for her wedding in Fall 2020. My daughter made the appointment on-line and started looking at dresses via their online catalog and tools. They are an appointment only store which is great because the consultant assigned can really focus on the future bride. We were paired with Cindy who was very patient, attentive and professional. She clearly listened to my daughter's interests and helped show a variety of gowns. She kept me included in the process and gave great feedback on the gowns and options. We thought we found THE DRESS, but were not sure that we wanted to buy it that day. There was no pressure or change in service whatsoever. They did indicate that there was an upcoming trunk show as well as a sample sale on Black Friday. We left to come back for the Sample Sale (which was very organized and well-run) a few days later, grateful we got paired again with Cindy. She clearly 'got' my daughters taste and her last suggestion turned out to be THE DRESS. I have never seen my daughter happier! They helped recommend a seamstress as well as marked some accessories that we could purchase at a later time for a discount. They also have a large selection of bridesmaid gowns so definitely able to help on all fronts. Unfortunately, our experience with MIa Grace was not ideal. Our daughter chose a lovely & simple, yet classic, dress. Mia Grace recommended a seamstress who caused many tears, as well as, many sleepless nights. Due to the poor skills of the seamstress, the hem of our daughter's dress was noticeably uneven. It could not be rectified, because the material had been cut. This was just one of several concerns with the workmanship of the seamstress. As a result, we consulted two other experts who both profusely apologized for what had been done to the dress. Prior to the wedding, I contacted Mia Grace via email and phone. Their response was initially non existent, and eventually poor. Fortunately, in the 11th hour, I secured a gifted seamstress who kindly stepped in and altered the dress as it should have been done in the beginning. After the wedding, Mia Grace attempted to make things right. I appreciate their efforts, although untimely. What happened to us was completely unnecessary and beyond unfortunate. Mia Grace should have stepped up and provided assistance long before they did. read more

I went with my two best friends today because one of them is getting married and she was looking for her dream gown, but my experience starts before today. I found Mia Grace through an online search for "plus size bridal St. Louis," and I'm glad I did! Last Thursday, I went in on an advanced scouting mission, looking to make sure that it was a fit place to take my friend. From the moment I walked in, that day, the owner, Vickie, and two of her employees were very attentive! She showed me around, got more information from me about the appointment I had made for my friend, and assured me that she could help my friend find her dream gown. I should mention that not only is my friend plus sized, I'm VERY plus sized, and I went in sweaty and not at all put together, no makeup, etc. And yet still amazing service! So today we went in, and I already had a good feeling about things from my advanced scouting mission. Vickie's daughter aided us from start to finish. She patiently helped my friend try on several dressed, just to make sure, but the second dress she tried on was THE dress. It was everything she had dreamed of, and had never seen anything that beautiful that flattered her figure so well at any other bridal shop. And then she proceeded to find the perfect veil and tiara. She bought all three today! We then proceeded to look at bridesmaid dresses. We'd been initially thinking about going one direction, but after looking at different styles on me and my co-matron of honor, we narrowed it down to two completely different dresses from a completely different designer, and I'm a size, almost two sizes, smaller by this designer's standards. I made appointment for bridesmaid dresses. The girl that we got was very friendly and nice. Wasn't pushy at all. She checked what color we want and made sure to pull that color type of dresses only. It was very easy to go from there, we just looked at those specific designers. I had once or twice before. After trying on different gowns at another store, I walked into Mia Grace Bridal and had been in touch with the stylists to let them know my style. Mira was the stylist I worked with who pulled out a dress that matched what I had looked for since before my fiancé proposed. I tried on the dress and nearly cried. I cried because I had made my first appointment a month before my grandfather passed away. At the first appointment it had been less then a week since his death. I looked at myself in the mirror and pictured the photo I dreamed to get with him in my wedding gown and now he's not here. Mira was the most understanding, respectful, and patient person as she saw my tears start to form. She asked what I was thinking and I explained my situation. How do I plan something so big in my life without somebody who has been one of my biggest cheerleaders since before I was born? I still down have an answer. When I came out of the dressing room to show my mom, she agreed with all I felt and then my mom started to form some tears and smile. If I wasn't talking to Mira, the person on the other line left a message for me. If I sent an email, they promptly responded back. I made my second appointment, and I invited my fiancé's mom and grandmother. I tried on the dress a month and a half later and still felt like this was the dress. I looked at my fiancé's grandmother and noticed her start to cry and smile. We looked at veils and I had her help me pick one out. After that, I said yes to the dress and the veil. In the parking lot, I told my mom privately, "The picture I wanted and dreamed to get with my grandfather won't happen. I've accepted that even though it still sucks and I'm still emotional about it. This Monday would have been his 90th birthday. If he had a wish at all, it would be to enjoy my fiancé's grandparents while they are still here. At least I got a picture with one of them in my dress. His other grandmother just needs to come in town at some point." My mom hugged me in the 100 degree weather. I ended up finding a dress that I absolutely fell in love with; one that I feel so excited to be getting married in. Amy listened to my opinions, my thoughts, and knew exactly what to pick for me. I even had some overbearing (but means well) people with me, but she didn't let them run the show. I am the maid of honor for my sister's wedding, so I got dragged here on a Sunday. My sister picked the place because of their extensive dress collection. Hundreds of dresses. I think they carried many of the designer lines she was interested in. She booked a 2-hour appointment online ahead of time. In that appointment, we got a personal dressing room, someone to help us, and a seating area. 1. I can't remember the woman's name who helped us, but she was amazing. She really focused on helping my sister find a dress she "loved", and did not pressure her to buy one from Mia Grace. She helped my sister in and out of at least 20 dresses, giving excellent feedback and being so helpful with the fit. We could tell she was 100% invested in making sure it was the right dress. Also, the woman provided a fair amount of "emotional coaching" which really helped my sister keep a positive attitude and make it a pleasant/fun experience. That was honestly a bonus. (We probably needed it) 2. As an FYI, the dresses are the larger sizes. My sister is extremely tiny, so it was hard to visualize the fit of some of the dresses. However, if you're on the bigger size, this won't be as big of an issue. 3. We brought our own champagne and they were totally cool with it. Other groups were cheering when their bride found "her dress". It's a fun but professional atmosphere. You can bring your own group of family/friends and the experience will be what you make it, but Mia Grace definitely helps it be positive. My sister honestly didn't find her perfect dress that day. However, the woman who spent 2+ hours with us has her contact info and promised to follow up. I mean such amazing customer service. They'll be ordering one for her to try on and keeping an eye out for if they get any of similar styles. Obviously I'm not getting married, but my sister and I would highly recommend Mia Grace for your wedding dress. I went with my mom and grandma and even though I left without a dress the rest of the day all three of us couldn't stop talking about how nice of a store it was and how friendly the staff were. I went to this bridal boutique yesterday in search of a new wedding gown (I'd made a hasty purchase at another store and wanted a new gown). I was greeted and immediately felt comfortable. For those of you who have not been wedding dress shopping, it can be a very stressful experience. My consultant immediately greeted me, went through Pinterest pictures, and went through the entire store with me (and it is a large store with a great selection) and really listened to what I was wanting. She even let me try on my old gown to compare. Ultimately I was able to find a new beautiful gown at an excellent price, and they even gift you with a water bottle, champagne and chocolate at the end of your appointment!
