I loved the service! I wanted some makeup and hair changes from the trial, and they both followed them and were very flexible. I was happy with how I looked. There was a miscommunication with one of the artists and she didn't make it. However, another artist pulled extra duty and everyone's hair and makeup was done. I unfortunately did not have the best experience with Bella Donna. They did my makeup for my wedding. The make up artist was late and therefore my mother in-law was unable to have enough time to get her make up done. The artist hands smelt like cigarette smoke while applying our make-up. Since she rushed to get to the location her appearance was not very professional. My makeup looked nice for awhile, but at dinner my maid of honor noticed my eyelashes were falling off, so I had to go the rest of the night without them :( My mother did look beautiful as well with the makeup she did for her. I know this was a rare occurrence, but still very upsetting on the most important day of your life. read more

I recently received hair and makeup services from BD for my wedding day. I also had 7 other ladies receive services. In short, one of the hair stylists was unable to complete an updo for any of the girls she was scheduled to work with. After spending over an hour and a half on my maid of honor, she moved on to another bridesmaid and could not successfully complete a simple updo on her either. By then, I realized how behind schedule we were and gently suggested changing it to a simple down curled 'do. My party was not ready by the agreed upon time, which caused stress. They had 4 people working on us and it still took longer than I have ever experienced (on my own or while being in several other weddings). I did not receive a schedule prior to that morning, even after I requested one several times. The stylists lingered at my house for 30 minutes after they were done, which made it difficult for the rest of my family to get ready for my wedding. Overall, the fun morning turned out to be clouded by the disappointment of my ladies. read more

Absolutely the most unprofessional and disrespectful vendor I have worked with in my wedding planning process. At one point, I wanted to solidify times for my wedding that was 4 months away. After attempting to get in contact with the shop several times for A MONTH (via email, client portal & phone) I finally received some information back (which was not the same as what I was originally told by the owner). The ladies I worked with were not consistent and one was extremely rude! My business and time were not a priority and it was evident after several "I'll get back to you" emails. Bella Donna was easy to work with, there was a quick quote and they made adjustments as I needed prior to the event and things were set prior to the date. The girls did a phenomenal job on all of my bridesmaids and completed everyone's hair and makeup on time. The only slight issue was that I did not receive a schedule for the day until less than a week prior but the vendor was quick to respond and make changes. Overall it was a great experience and all of the bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup! read more
