I'm not sure why this kind of talk would be allowed in a professional setting but they seemed VERY comfortable letting their feelings about Mexicans be heard. I shopped around for a total of 30 minutes and when I went to the boutique side I could hear their giggling grow louder. This is the most uncomfortable and unpleasant experience I've had at any business, my recommendation would be to stay away if you're looking for an inclusive environment.

Prices are standard to high end but atmosphere is low end. I could still almost get behind supporting local business except honestly I felt gross. I went to see her a week after the install, at which point she took them out completely and then said that she would re-do them, but that she could only cut them into a "short bob" which was not the agreed upon service, nor the service I paid for. I respectfully requested a refund, less the costs of the wefts, which she refused. I subsequently asked for a refund of the botched install only, which she also refused, nor will she give me an itemized receipt for the charges incurred. The owner, Brianna, has offered no help. Do yourself a favor- if you want professional, well installed extensions, avoid Joan and the Rose Room at all costs.

Called an older stylist over to HELP her mid cut because she just kept chopping and she asked, is that enough? To which I said, too much actually. After an hour, yes an hour, on the hair of a five year old, and $25 later my son now has bangs that are half an inch on the left side and an inch and a half on the right. Yeah, they are that bad. A uneven cut all over his head, and patches of his head that look nearly bald. Never again at this place. The 'Fantastic' should be removed from the name.
