Very dense, reminds me of a New York cheesecake. Decent taste but pricey. - Hazelnut iced latte - not bad The only things I would come back for would be for coffee and dessert. The flavor bursts with little chips of roasted coffee beans. Long way to fly for a frozen brew. I didn't expect this coffee to come close to what rhymes with "Starbucks" but I think it did. A regular mocha chip blended frappe, 205 pp. That's just $3.68 usd. Super cheap, but powerfully rich coffee flavor. Is it good enough to make me move here? Maybe? Take care folks. We ordered through foodpanda and it arrived safe and sound without any spillage. They did an excellent job taping up the cups and securing it in the bag with a cardboard holder. Extra points for having the straw in a sealed plastic wrapper. I was happy with my ice blended mocha drink; it had good flavor and it wasn't overly sweet. I will definitely order from them again. BEFORE THE COVID-19 LOCKDOWN: What a lovely place to chill! Lots of different seating options: from comfy lounge chairs and half booths, to outdoor wicker chairs shaded with patio umbrellas. Staff are friendly and work hard keeping the place clean. They can be seen washing windows and wiping down tables. Menu isn't extensive, but they do have a good variety. Their iced teas are very mild; but I did enjoy their floral teas (Southern Blend & Pomegranate Blueberry). Next time, I'll request that they steep the tea longer. I appreciate that they are light handed in adding sweetener. I had a slice of their chocolate cake which was too dense, and had frosting that was too sugary sweet. If it's not too hot, the second floor patio is an excellent place to escape the crowd. There are lots of patio umbrellas to shade you from the sun, and you can see all the way to the mountains. The hum of the traffic and the occasional buzzing from an airplane were relaxing sounds, as my hubby and I enjoyed each other's company. Looks like people like to work/study here. This one person had set up an entire work station on one table, and even brought in their own extension cord to hook up all their electronics. Here, the minibons are almost the size of a full cinnibon stateside, and the full sized Cinnabons, are Monsterbons. Why did I have to travel 8285 miles to get a proper Cinnabon? Yes, they also do this better than us. Lighter, but dense enough to give you a good rich bite. The coffees are megastrong. Service? Come on, this is just the friendliest place on earth since Mayberry. It's as if Aunt Bea, Andy, Opie, Barney Phife are somewhere here. Just that nice. If you know the reference, sheesh you're old (like me). Gotta go. Thank each of you for reading. I ORDERED: - chocolate chip cookie warmed up. This is a soft thick cookie, jam-packed with delicious chocolate morsels. - cranberry oatmeal cookie - brought this home to hubby. I didn't try it, but hubby gobbled it up. - Iced roasted hazelnut latte. They used actual coffee not a powdered mix. I enjoyed my drink; it wasn't overly sweet nor bitter. We chose from the bakery case in the front, asked them to warm up our pastries, then sat down in the back dining room to enjoy our treats. WE HAD: - Fresh squeezed orange juice. Oftentimes here in the Philippines when you ask for orange juice you are given orange soda, so this is a welcomed surprise. - Chocolate croissant (chocolate filling, chocolate drizzle and powdered sugar on top) - flaky and delicious! Don't forget to have it warmed up YUM! - Crumb bun custard - yummy with a hint of coconut. - (Thick crinkle cut) French fries - crispy and hot. You need to specify that you want them crispy. 4 stars for their dessert and drinks (they stock San Pelligrino soda too). Baked goods aren't made in house; but they're baked fresh and delivered daily from a local bakery. They have a revamped menu with many new items; I'm excited to come back and try their new offerings.
