I was craving for something sweet, and I remembered that German Angel's has a good mini apple pie. The guard greeted us and opened the door. We chose from the bakery case in the front, asked them to warm up our pastries, then sat down in the back dining room to enjoy our treats.
WE HAD:
- Fresh squeezed orange juice. Oftentimes here in the Philippines when you ask for orange juice you are given orange soda, so this is a welcomed surprise.
- Chocolate croissant (chocolate filling, chocolate drizzle and powdered sugar on top) - flaky and delicious! Don't forget to have it warmed up YUM!
- Crumb bun custard - yummy with a hint of coconut.
- (Thick crinkle cut) French fries - crispy and hot. You need to specify that you want them crispy.
4 stars for their dessert and drinks (they stock San Pelligrino soda too). Baked goods aren't made in house; but they're baked fresh and delivered daily from a local bakery. They have a revamped menu with many new items; I'm excited to come back and try their new offerings.
FYI - If you hear a loud CRAAAACK, it just their electronic bug killer. read more
