We were referred to CWF by A#1 Air. Project Manager Oscar showed up to assess the damage later that same day (Wednesday, Jan 17th)and walked us through the process. During his time here, we contacted our insurance company to file a claim which was initiated within 20 minutes with a representative over the phone. Since Oscar was present, it facilitated communication. Oscar gave us a two-hour window between 8am and 10am and said that we should expect to receive a call from dispatch informing us that they are on their way. He also took a series of pictures before he left so that he could inform the crew of the events that transpired. On Saturday, January 20th, the mitigation crew removed a portion of the engineered flooring that was affected and promptly placed industrial fans on and around it. They informed us that they would be back to pick up the equipment (in 4 days) after the area has completely dried and answered any questions we had. Kris, Sheldon, Gabriel, and Oscar were professional and knowledgeable - explaining everything about the process and I appreciate the time and patience they took on a Saturday morning to help us. We are going to go with CWF for restoration as well.

But I have not received the update about what time excavator people come in Saturday. On Saturday, 12/20/25. 8:47 am. He called me and excavator people will be there, but we were not home because he did not update what time excavate people came on Saturday. Plumber said we will come Tuesday, Not Monday. There was no pressure at any point throughout the process, which was a nice contrast to some of the other door-to-door people that come by after storms.
