My husband, sister, and I did a sampling of Benvenuto's entrees, appetizers, salads, and desserts on a Saturday evening. As we pulled into the carport, a valet greeted us and parked our car. As we entered the restaurant, we were offered a glass of sangria. A wicked thunderstorm knocked out power shortly after we arrived. The gracious staff kept us informed from time to time that we would be seated as soon as everything was up and running again. Our wait was worth it! We started off with Shrimp Cocktail, a Mixed Green Salad, and a Caesar Salad. Next, we were served sample platters of some of the Hors d'oeuvres we will choose for our party. My husband and sister tasted the Mini Crab Cakes, Mozzarella Sticks, Chicken Mini Pot Stickers, and Beef Empanadas. I was able to enjoy several gluten free selections including Crispy Polenta, and some Mini Avocado and Tomato Tacos. The service and food were fantastic! Some warm, fresh bread and butter also was served. For dinner, we each chose a different entree. My sister ordered the Filet Mignon. It was done medium rare just like she requested. My husband tried the Coastal Snapper and enjoyed his choice as well. My pick was the French Cut Chicken Breast served with Black Beans, Corn Salsa, Rice, and Vegetable Puree. It was fantastic! Everything tasted hot and fresh and delicious with generous portion sizes. Throughout our meal, our table was regularly cleared when needed and our drinks refilled promptly. We were rather full after dinner (we took home some leftovers!) but of course we had to have dessert. The Key Lime Pie, Vanilla Creme Brulee (gluten free), and The Granny Smith Apple Tart finished off our feast in sweet style! We toured the facility and also peeked in on a family reunion party in another room. My siblings and I decided to book our mom's 90th birthday celebration at Benvenuto after our visit. We booked Memories For You for our wedding in December and there were many details that were…read moreoverlooked, both big and small. All of the planning was supposed to be taken over the month before the wedding but a vacation abroad with little access to email really only gave her two weeks of planning. I will just list some of the issues we experienced from our perspective: The foam wrapping on our center pieces for guest tables was never removed and the bride/groom table piece was placed backwards which was corrected by the bride's mother. We discussed placing a recycling bin behind the bar for our bartenders. This was not done so the best man had to do so. No plates were put out for cake so the bride's mother had to take care of it. The hair and makeup professional expressed to us on the day of the wedding she was confused on some details and never received a phone call to discuss anything. The bartender was not included on the vendor email and never received a wedding timeline or any kind of correspondence. We were told our wedding required two additional staff due to its complexity but last minute only received one. We planned to have the band setup on the grass behind the dance floor but there was no communication with the band as to what kind of surface they needed to play on which resulted in half our dance floor being taken up by the band. If we knew the band had to play on a hard surface, we would have arranged for proper accommodations. Upon trying to access our contract and address list it turns out it was deleted the day after the wedding. Afterwards we were informed that information was posted in the "notes" section of the portal but we were never directly relayed the message that we would no longer have access. We have a record of all vendor contracts to keep on file (all of which were emailed to us from every other vendor with no issue) from the wedding and after trying to obtain a copy of a contract she accused us of trying to SCAM her which was extraordinarily rude, unprofessional, and uncalled for. This was an awful and offensive way to be treated as a customer. We feel that if you are booking a wedding at an established venue that has its own coordination involved, Memories For You might be an okay pick as a vendor. However, if your wedding has a lot of from scratch planning, is in multiple locations, or has lots of moving parts, we feel we cannot recommend Memories For You.

Well, I broke my wrist and was unable to do so. A day and half before the party I found Dream Ark via an internet search. I sent an email inquiry and was immediately contacted by Roza. Miraculously she said she could do the job even with short notice. We discussed design ideas and colors. I then sent her photos of the party room. The day of the party Roza and her partner arrived 4 hours before party time and installed the most stunning balloon decorations and backdrop. After the party they came back and collected everything. My dad and our guests were blown away by how amazing the room looked. If you need gorgeous party decorations do not hesitate reaching out to Roza and her team.
