No matter how busy a person is, if you are in sales or in any business, you need to attend to your inquiries or calls or messages unless you are in your death bed. I say this speaks very highly of the standards that the realty company practices because if your employees don't know how to deal with clients whether people you know or not, then I would be scared to trust them with my personal Information let alone a purchase of my home! Even though the agreements and disclosures advised us to have a thorough property inspection, she talked us to accept the report previously done by the sellers in order to expedite the escrow process. Big mistake. But then again, as a dual agent she had the responsibility to remain impartial. Right when we moved in, we found out none of the toilets' tank refilled properly. They would take several minutes to be ready to flush again. Next day, the dishwasher was also broken. It would wash, forever. We had to turn it off manually as the wash cycle never ended. By the second week we found mold in the wall behind the closet in one of the bedrooms. By winter, we find out the furnace was not working either. A good property inspection as well as the realtor own checklist should have reported some or most of them. After all, she claims to specialize in luxury homes (mine was almost 2 million). Then, due to a remodel, I had to list the number of carbon monoxide detectors in the house. None. There was only one in the garage, plugged to an outlet. I think that it is even illegal to sell a house without those. Anyway, a year in (what was supposed to be our dream home) and a fair amount of money spent to fix all these issues, I am adamant to NOT recommend Mrs. Katherine Couture as a real state agent.

She was able to repossess the home within 15 days, without having to go through the process of an eviction, which was our goal from the beginning. Communication was always very quick, clear, and concise. My husband and I had so many questions since it was our first time going through something like this. She has a very extensive knowledge of real estate, the laws involved, and in general how tenants tend to behave, but she was also very patient and thorough when advising us. As someone that runs her own business and manages 100+ properties, Marianne is obviously a very busy person. I expected her staff to communicate with us after the tenant vacated the property.
