This review is a little over a year and half late. We got married here in June 2022. Funny story, we had decided a wedding venue and then at the last minute before we signed our contract at the original venue. I had a gut feeling I needed to tour Bella Sera. We had already toured more than a handful and I had it narrowed down. But for some reason, I just wasn't completely ready to commit to the ones I had thought I wanted originally. We met with John for our initial tour. And my husband and I instantly fell in love with the venue. I don't know what it was. But it met all our needs. And what really sold us was that it was all inclusive and we didn't have to worry about decor or setting up. From every meeting from initial meeting to our final meeting. Everyone who we met with was so kind and helpful. I had so much fun at our design meeting where we got to pick the decor and table centers. We had a few decorations to add and we dropped them off at our rehearsal so the event team could set it up for us. When it came to the day of our wedding, everything looked so beautiful. I was so happy to see how beautifully everything came together. I was definitely one happy bride. The evening went so smoothly! And I have ZERO complaints. Such a beautiful wedding. During the duration of planning everything was great and did a wonderful job, until the last meeting with Nichole who we had never met yet. She was super rude and very impatient during the meeting. Day of the wedding she was very rude to all the bridesmaids, groomsmen and family so just about anyone who was closely involved. All our flowers that we brought were thrown away. Center pieces that we had arranged were not put out fully. Late night snacks were not put out. She couldn't be bothered to hold a proper conversation and made it very clear she wasn't gonna be bothered with our concerns. So hundreds of dollars wasted by one individual. Reached out about the situation and was ultimately blown off. On paper should have been amazing and put in a lot of work for this. at the last minute was put in shambles. My daughter and her husband had their dream wedding here! We looked at over 50 venues and couldn't find anything comparable for this price. The theme and decorations and colors are all customizable. They include the meal, the place settings, the DJ, the space, etc. total package. I can't speak to their photographer because we hired our own photographer. I absolutely recommend Bella Sera. The owner are a husband & wife team. Elisabeth was amazing and went above and beyond on every single detail . Went to a wedding here last weekend (ceremony and reception). It's a really cute venue. Not in the best area, parking is across the street in a public parking lot near the highway in Brighton. They make good use of the space, and change it up between the ceremony and reception. They could do it a little faster though, the time it took to stand around in between was a bit much for a very pregnant woman. The layout is also a little odd in that the men's and women's restrooms are on the opposite sides of the building, which is a little awkward if you're trying to run across the foyer (where pictures are being taken) to get to the other restroom. They have some cute little balconies and places to take pictures, and they decorated it really well. Made for a beautiful evening. The food was good too (stuffed shells and lemon ginger chicken, with potatoes and a veggie dish on the side). The employees I interacted with at the buffet were very friendly. There was a cash bar (accepted cards and cash) with one bartender. The prices I heard seemed a little high for things outside of wine and beer, but not totally out of the question. Seemed like a good place for a wedding, though a little out of the way if you live in Denver. read more

Unfortunately, with COVID we had to move our wedding date multiple times due to health concerns and Bella Sera was very kind and accommodating for us to do so. We had our wedding a two weeks ago on 07/24/2016 and all of our family and friends are raving about how fun and beautiful the reception was. We had our ceremony portion at my church and hosted our reception at the Bella Sera. We choose the Bellissimo package and honestly being an out of state bride, it truly was a stress free process. The owners John and Elizabeth and our coordinator Austin we're truly there for us right from the moment we walked in for our tour to our sparkler exit on our reception night. The venue is stunning! They floral wall piece on the ceiling that stole my heart to the hanging cake which was astounding! We received so many compliments about our decor, food, how fun it was. Everyone at the Bella Sera is concerned on how to make your wedding not only beautiful to your vision but fun and make it stand out! No one was bored and just said how entertaining and lovely it was! The food ( Chicken Parmesan and Pot Roast) was full of flavor and amazing! The cake was so delightful and we had about 6-7 flavored to appease the different taste buds of our 250 guest wedding! Everyone raved about the cake. The way the Bella Sera packages their weddings makes it so stress free! The week of I was honestly so relaxed and at ease because everything was taken care of by the Bella Sera! Elizabeth did a great job executing and designing the venue! I truly had the wedding of my dreams! We had a few hiccups of having things running behind and Austin was right there to manage and help make everything fall back to place on schedule. As a young bride in Colorado I was having a hard time finding a venue that could give me the glamorous and delicate feel that I was going for. Many of the venues that I was being directed to only specialized in one style of wedding; rustic. Which is beautiful but not my personal preference or style. Not only did I feel a ton of pressure to find the perfect venue because my fiancé and I were taking care of all of the expenses ourselves, but I'm also a social media influencer with over half a million followers that were looking forward to the wedding that I would be having. Due to my unorthodox line of work and the amount of eyes that would be on this event, I needed to find a team of people that would understand the complexity of my position and be able to handle the extra stress that comes along with an audience my size. I found that with the Bella Sera. I had viewed many venues online but the Bella Sera was the one and only venue that I visited in person and put down our deposit the same day. They were able to offer all inclusive packages that includes everything from the DJ, Decor, Bartender with a full bar, security, and a team of professionals available for your every need on the special day. This perk was extremely attractive to me because my busy schedule simply wouldn't allow multiple meetings with different vendors separately. This is a family owned business and the wife Elisabeth was my amazing Event Coordinator and her husband John was in charge of their in house catering (yes, they provide that as well!) and I got to know the two of them very well prior to my big day which made me feel extremely secure about how well they would take care of the planning of the most important day of my life. The Bella Sera is equipped with preferred vendors that included; Walnut Street Photography (Noah is now our permanent family photographer!), Vickies Flowers, and DJ Done Entertainment LLC. All of which were spectacular! I opted to rent chiavari chairs for my event and once I reserved my rentals the Bella Sera team took care of the set up, tear down, and return of the rented items safely and carefully. I ordered tons of fresh flowers from Costco and delivered them to the Bella Sera the night of my rehearsal and basically said "I purchased all of these flowers for these areas, please make arrangements" and they absolutely blew me away with the care and thoughtfulness of each arrangement that was created with no instruction in time for the special day! I requested a special rhinestone loop and sash on the back of the chiavari chairs and Elisabeth purchased the roll of rhinestones for me, my MOH and I created the loops, and they carefully placed them on each and every rented chair in time for the my arrival at the venue. Words can't describe how much they helped my fiancé and I create the wedding of our dreams, all the while dealing with the foreign pressure of knowing that thousands of eyes were going to see this wedding and their work. Right off, everyone employed at the Bella Sera is extremely friendly, enthusiastic, and 100% committed to making your event exactly what you want. The Bella Sera was the first place we visited and after the consultation, we knew immediately that it was the place for us. Most people tell you to shop around but we were positive that this was the place for us. Our consultation was about a year and a half out from when we wanted to get married. We met with the owner, John, and he was one of those people you automatically feel comfortable with. He was warm and welcoming and truly made an effort to get to know us in the short time we had with him. We went over a rather comprehensive list of all things wedding in order to determine desired elements, budget, and generally whether or not they would be able to accommodate us. John was upfront and honest with us that they always assess the uniqueness of each event to make sure the Bella Sera is a good fit for everyone and that they are not solely interested in getting booked like other venues. If they feel they can't accommodate an event, they will be honest about it which is something that stood out to me and in my opinion, speaks volumes about their character and integrity. Apart from our wonderful meeting with John, the venue is GORGEOUS. We were able to tour the space and the attention to detail and the way the decorations and lighting all come together is truly magical. We ended the meeting extremely excited and even though we probably would have booked them that same day, John encouraged us to go home and think about it before we made any decisions. Again, they truly have your best interest in mind and want your event to be perfect, even if it isn't with them. We never felt pressured. When we were ready, I was able to call and book our date over the phone. Again, everyone was super friendly and flexible. Over the course of the year leading up to our date, we had a series of meetings meant to accomplish various things. We worked with Austin throughout the rest of our process and he was the best. At our first meeting, we confirmed any details we had covered at the consultation and talked more about budget, guest count, etc. Here, we learned a little more about the different packages and what was included in each of them. The next meeting was event production where we discussed dances, add-ons, activities, etc. Pretty much the logistics of the event and the elements we wanted. Here, we were able to decide what add-ons we wanted, we decided to do fun things like the photo booth, sparklers, and the s'mores and hot chocolate bar. The third meeting was the design meeting where we got to choose our lighting, decorations, everything! They have specific individuals who specialize in design and we had so many options to choose from. Anything you have in mind, they can make it happen. We did a winter wonderland theme and everything was beautiful! The possibilities with them are limitless! They put a table together for you so you can see what everything will look like. The fourth meeting was food tasting and that was a lot of fun. The food was tasty and we ended up going with the chicken alfredo and the pork tenderloin. After this, we had a final meeting just before the wedding where we went over all the details again and were able to meet with the DJ and select our music for the ceremony and the dance. During all of this, payments and communication were also super easy as they use Honey Book which was really great to use and allowed us to have all of our stuff in one place. They really take care of everything: planning, production, food, DJ, photography, bar, and fun extras. All we really had to do on our own was hair/makeup, dress/suits, flowers, invitations, and cake. We also booked a mariachi band on our own, which the happily accommodated and incorporated. The DJ who was assigned to us was Enrique and he was amazing. He took the time to help us figure out and plan our music. He was also a great bilingual DJ and was able to do everything in both English and Spanish without a flaw. He was fun and kept the crowd moving. Our photographer was Andrea and she was also wonderful. The engagement session is part of the package and those turned out great. All of the wedding photos turned out amazing as well and she and her partner captured every moment. There was so much that went into our wedding and I didn't feel any of the stress of it. Everything was so detailed and for everything that is included, it really is an amazing value. You can have a beautiful wedding for less than what most pay. Our wedding was delicately crafted and a new puzzle was created just for us. Bella Sera is a family owned venue and they take immense pride in each and every wedding. Elisabeth was our event coordinator and she worked with us to create our dream wedding down to every minute detail. Elisabeth led us through a design session to help us create the look and feel of our wedding and also a production meeting to help ensure the day would run smoothly. On the day of our wedding everything was choreographed and planned with precision there were absolutely no snags. I have always worried that I would be stressed on my wedding day but the morning of my wedding when I arrived at the venue everything was arranged and set up beautifully. I was handed a drink and allowed to relax. We used three of the Bella Sera's preferred vendors, DJ Perry Washington, Walnut Street Photography and Caricature Artist, Jason Sauer. Having a preferred list of vendors was a time savor for us because all of the people that the Bella Sera chooses are trustworthy and incredible at what they do. It also helped bring the evening together. Our guests couldn't have had more positive things to say about their experience at our wedding. This venue even takes the time to ensure the kids are fed first at dinner and happy kids make happy parents and, in turn, a very happy bride and groom! The food was delicious, the decor was intricate and unique, and our DJ and photographers did an outstanding job. The value you get when choosing this venue is innumerable. When we first visited the Bella we were completely awestruck with how amazing and beautiful the venue looked. I can't give a higher recommendation than the one I am giving The Bella Sera. My husband and I got married there in February of 2016 and we LOVED everything about our special day. We were paying for the wedding on our own, so budget was definitely something we considered. That being said, we were still able to have an amazing BLACK-TIE wedding (including limousine service for all of our guests) for an incredibly low price. The Bella Sera has All-Inclusive wedding packages, that made our planning process a breeze. With only 4 meetings, including the tour, we were able to create the wedding of our dreams. The staff was friendly, engaging, and fully committed to making our day perfect. They set up and cleaned up all the decorations and food. They offer in-house catering (again, that won't break the bank) and we got so many compliments on how delicious it was! I don't have a bad thing to write about this amazing venue! Are you kidding? This place is a dump. Carpet is coming up all over the place, and it looks like it hasn't been cleaned since it was built. Molding is missing all over the place, and paint is chipped everywhere, even where people can't reach. There's (obviously) fake grapes and vines hanging all over, and they are dusty and faded. The bench in the front of the lobby is supposed to be where brides have their photo taken, but I would never let my white dress come near those nasty pillows. There's no room in the bride's "suite" to get ready, really just a small bathroom and a hallway. The bathrooms for guests are missing stall doors and the tiles are stained. Parking is unpaved and across the street surrounded by the industrial plants. The route to get there is ugly, and I Googled multiple ways to get there for a prettier trip. Really, this place needs to be torn down. It's in awful shape, in an awful location. The owners would be better off trying something else in another area. read more

When looking for a wedding venue, I knew it was going to be tough. We wanted a March wedding, which immediately meant indoors and cut out many of the affordable options. When we went to look at Bella Sera, I instantly fell in love. Although you are a little unsure when you pull up to an incredible building, surrounded by run down ones in Brighton, you walk through the door and can't help but gasp. This venue has made every bit of the building serve as a dream wedding location. The staff was absolutely incredible and made sure every detail was perfect! Sari was a blessing and took on so much of the stress that would traditionally be the brides. I can't say enough good things about this venue. We began our journey with wedding planning about 2 weeks into Covid, our first and only stop was the Bella Sera for a venue. We had our meeting to talk about what they could offer to us and see the venue. I can tell you we left there knowing this was our place. We did not look anywhere else after that and signed our contract the next day! From there we had several meetings with them about food, decorations, bar, other additions like photo booth, a special drink, DJ, photographers, and even sparklers! This place has EVERYTHING!! John, Elizabeth, and Austin are more than amazing. We were so uncertain about how many people we were going to be allowed at our wedding due to Covid and they just had all the right things to say to keep wedding planning calm and enjoyable. I know they were stressed with Covid as well, but they NEVER let it show to us. I could call, text, or email at any time and they would respond in a fast manner. No question or request was too big for this place. I can honestly say that wedding planning was so smooth and easy thanks to the staff at Bella Sera. On wedding day, we had a small snag right as we were to walk down the aisle and the staff there were so calm that it helped the rest of us feel calm and that all was going to be fine. All the events on wedding day went so well. Staff knows how to transition everything from one event to the next and no one felt rushed or overwhelmed. We told them the things we wanted to do, and they took over from there. They transitioned to dinner, cake, dancing, shoe game, and more without a hitch! They lay everything out on the table so you know exactly what you are signing up for and they tell you exactly what you can expect when it comes to appointments needed for planning. I am so thankful to have found The Bella Sera. If the idea of coordinating a dj, caterer, photographer, and decor, all on the same day at the same time while trying to enjoy your own celebration gives you anxiety - have no fear. Bella Sera is here. They organized EVERYTHING I didn't want to deal with. We went with the Italiano package which included it all. They even created a champagne glass pyramid for the toast at our request and provided a caricaturist to entertain the guests during pictures. Our guests were absolutely astonished with the opulence our venue created. But above all and MOST important to us both, was our personal coordinator Austin. That man deserves an award. Not only did he keep the flower girls entertained with bubbles before the ceremony, not only did he find space for our tardy guests, not only did he direct the quartet to their places, and make time for a first touch, and get the wedding party our smoking cocktails, and arrange sparklers for farewell, and arrange our flower delivery, and our cake delivery, and last minute finishing touches, AND make sure we were fed - but he did so with the most calming voice and delicate demeanor. Were we running behind schedule? I don't know! Because it didn't matter. Because Austin was taking care of it. Because even if we were, I never worried. Why? Because Austin was there to walk us through it. He asked us questions, took and gave direction without a moments hesitation - all with poise and decorum. If that man ever does experience stress or annoyance like the rest of us, you'd never ever know it. My husband and I owe all our peace of mind to Austin. The staff and coordinator did a wonderful job helping me with my wedding. I was venueless less than 3 months before our wedding, and Bella Sera was able to get us in, and everything planned in that time. They worked with us, for everything that we already had, and were very friendly. The day of Sari, and her beautiful staff, were wonderful. They made sure that we were running on time, if we needed anything, and constantly keeping us updated on where the groom, or bride was. We did a DIY wedding but they still thought of the small things like water pitchers in the bridal suite, greeting guests and helping round up family for pictures. Honestly the best choice that anyone could ever make in a wedding venue. They listened to everything we needed, gave us suggestions for things we did not think about and helped us through every step of the way. Their easy all inclusive packages made the one stop shopping so simple and allowed my husband and I to focus on each other during our engagement period; rather than scrambling all over town to find different vendors to come together. Our wedding was supposed to happen in July 2020 originally and was postponed to October 2020. John the owner of Bella Sera was extremely understanding and flexible about payment arrangements and budget and they honestly have a package for every persons budget. Austin who was my event manager was incredible and so so helpful, always taking time to respond to emails, texts and phone calls right away and answering any questions that came up right away. They came to me to make decisions and then did all the work to make it happen down to every last detail including allowing me to bring in additional decor that wasn't included in my package and setting it all up for me. it was completely stress free time leading up to the wedding and i never had to wonder what was going on because the communication was so awesome. When it was time for the big day again they did not disappoint. Austin was by my side the whole day and made everything go according to plan.. he was so helpful he even helped me switch into to tennis shoes halfway through the night and packed me a to go plate from our chocolate fountain because the night was so busy i didn't get a chance to grab anything. I can not say enough good things about him. He is great at what he does. Id also like to mention the photographer, Andrea, Once again she was awesome capturing beautiful photos from our engagement pictures all the way up until our big day and our sparkler send off which she was willing to shoot twice so we could get some photos that included our two kiddos. She was professional talented and we will be continuing to use her as our family photographer in the future. The food was amazing, the dj was amazing, the bartender was amazing and everyone catered to exactly what we needed and gave us a completely stress free wedding of our dreams. I cannot recommend them enough. Our only complaint is that its over and we don't get to do it again. If you're getting married in Colorado go with the Bella Sera event center. I paid $7500 to the Bella Sera and I didn't receive one thing from it, they just kept our money. We had suddenly fell in to hard times when my fiancé was suddenly laid off from his job that he worked at for 20 yrs. They claim they had to keep the money to pay the vendors, but funny that I had my own venders lined up they only one I was using through them was the DJ and we had already paid him $100. I would never recommend this place. They are after the $$$. They don't really care about you like they say in their meetings with you. I learned that first hand. read more

I really loved this place I had my wedding here June 30 12 and of was amazing from the food to the decorations. The owers were so very nice and helpful. All of the guests loved it here as well. The prices are very reasonable. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone having an event here. The staircase was my ultimate favorite the pictures came out amazing. I planned a last minute (within two months) rushed wedding and found Bella Sera online. I live in Las Vegas but needed to have the wedding in the Denver area. The pictures made it look gorgeous and the price was much less than anything else I could find. I worried a little wondering if paying less meant I would get less of a wedding. From the word go, every single person who had a hand in helping me plan this wedding, through email, was phenomenal. I picked my decorations from pictures and just hoped it would look like I wanted it to. The day we came to Bella Sera for our rehearsal, I knew I had made the right choice. I am very picky and have extremely expensive taste even if I try to acheive that on a budget. The day of my wedding, I came in and cried when I saw the decorations. They had perfectly captured my vision without even meeting me or having me there in person. The venue was more than I could have asked for and the staff went above and beyond at every point. The day of my wedding was smooth and very well organized. There was not an ounce of stress on me. Even to the point that I wanted different music from my DJ and Mandy, my planner, talked to him and told him not to try and talk to me. LOL. The food, oh the food. All of my guests kept complimenting us on how good the food was and how it didn't taste like catered, banquet, wedding food. The wedding was beautiful and my guests were in awe over the decorations, food, venue and staff. They all thought we paid a small fortune for this wedding. Paying a reasonable fee no longer has to mean skimping and cutting corners thanks to The Bella Sera. You CAN afford your dream wedding and should give them a shot if you are getting married in the Denver area. I will forever be grateful for this wedding that I never thought I would be able to afford and to the staff that treated us like royalty the whole time. Never once did I feel like just another customer to them. I felt like I was the only one they had even though they were booked the entire week of my wedding. I just can't say enough about them.
