Horrific meal and way over- priced! Cold chips and rancid tasting fish for 30$ not only terrible…read moretasting but also a miserly portion. Revolting. Next alleged 'bratwurst' which was nothing but 3 cheap awful sausages. Came with packet, cold mashed potatoes which contained hard, dry? Green peas. Also over priced at $29. Third was a frozen schnitzel with cold fries. Along with one drink each and a bowl of ok onion rings $140 was a rip off of the highest order. A look into the kitchen revealed some pretty grungy guys who I would guess do not wash their hands. We came out feeling sick. Never go here and if you are anyone to do with shutting down kitchens this is one to close.

I was however, pleasantly surprised. We timed our visit to coincide with the starting of the first session of movies at the skyline drive-ins so was it wasn't too busy. The food was served in under 15 minutes as well as been freshly prepared and adorable. There is a substantial menu given it is a sensually just a pub meal, as well as being fairly priced as with the drinks also. There is an outdoor seating area as well as the option to cook your own meat yourself. Whilst it was a pub it was, there really was very little noise. Quality of the food was excellent and we will definitely be returning again

Looking for an upscale dining experience while still enjoying good dim sum? The Castle Hill RSL…read more(Returned & Service League......sort of the Australian version of Veteran's or Fraternal club) provides this. This review is only for lunch at the Jin Yan Asian restaurant on the 2nd floor of the club complex. As others have commented, the facility is modern, clean, relaxing & spacious. Seems to offer lots of dining and recreation choices (including spaces for poker & slot machines). As expected, there is a "dress code" and prices are slightly higher if you're not a club member. We ordered 7 dishes ($80): chicken feet, cha siu bow, taro puff, egg tart, chinese sausage roll, beef balls & fried rice. The rice & sausage dishes were blasé but the taro puff was excellent. For the price, the food was only OK, but you come here for the nice atmosphere (e.g., if you're entertaining guests and you want an upscale vibe).

There is a strict dress code dining there such as no shorts, no hats, etc. Most diners adhered to this strict dress code but I saw few people violated this code. Food and quality of all the dishes were excellent. The prices are much higher than other local Chinese dim sum restaurants. You order your dishes from filling out a sheet with pictures next to every item. All the dishes were fresh and hot. You also get discount if you are a member too.
