We had some free time before the next leg of our tour so we decided to have lunch here arriving around noon on a Friday. Fish market section (left side) has an abundant selection of fresh fish. On the right side, the interior is modern and inviting- they have a few Tapas spots with a dizzying amount of food. Further down there was a wine spot (Cas Torrat.) The walkway loops around and connects to the fresh fish area with outdoor seating in the middle. We got an assortment of Montaditos and Pinchos as well fried Anchovies and Cod Croquette from the first 2 spots (La Faim, Merca Apas). The displays were so enticing we had a hard time choosing and wanted it all! Our Tapas were all amazing! We sat inside as outdoor tables were all taken. They picked up really quickly and were packed by the time we finished around 1. When visiting Mahon, don't miss this gem of a Market that's been around since 1927!

There were cozy booths, a pin ball machine, reading material, and tvs. One of the nights we wandered in, there was quite a crowd to watch a soccer game so it seems like a pretty popular local hangout spot. We ordered a pitcher of Sangria and it was excellent and paired nicely with the weather and view. Bread with aioli was brought out as a starter which was a nice touch. We shared and enjoyed a Mixed salad. The star of the show was the Galacian Octopus. The Octupus was smoked and seasoned with Paprika placed over a bed of Confit potatoes. A local dish that was exquisite. We shared it and didn't want it to end. A must try and I'm craving it as I write this review! Service was upbeat and attentive.
